I've been going to CrossFit425 for 4 years now.  Before signing up I thought I could never do what cross fitters do.  I felt like by body wasn't strong enough to flip tires and lift the weight they do. I was a member of a gym and would just do my usual cardio and a bit of weights, nothing more.  A co-worker of mine referred a friend and I to CrossFit425, she told us to pop-in and check it out.   After our 3 free pop-ins, we decided to join.  The atmosphere of the gym felt welcoming and friendly.  I like that people approached us, introduce themselves and welcomed us to the gym, none of that "I'm too cool for school" nonsense. This gym has strived me to become a better person inside and out.  Its helped me maintain a healthy weight and build muscle, no more BINGO arms .  I could say that I have gain a new family coming to this gym, everyone supports one and another and encourages you to do better.  The coaches are amazing, if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be as strong and lift what I can today.    If your looking for a gym where you can sweat, burn LOTS of calories, gain new friends and have fun, CrossFit425 is your place. read more

I hate to leave bad reviews because there are too many out there today, from too many people but CrossFit 425 deserves one. First off, the gym is dark and dirty, and cold. Second, the owner Braxton is one of the unfriendliest C/F owners I've ever met (and I've been C/F'ing since 2010). Next, the programming is awful and the price is incredibly steep when you look at the type of training offered there. Most gyms have a good core group of members - that does not exist at 425. Overall, the vibe is awful, the programming and WOD's leave much to be desired, the workout's are lame, the trainers have no idea what they are doing, and you are paying way too much for below average service, a below average space, and weights and equipment that are truly disgusting. Save your money and time - go elsewhere read more

My boyfriend and I relocated from a different state and wanted to find a new CrossFit gym. After speaking with a few different gyms, we decided to give CrossFit 425 a try - it has been the best decision we have made since moving here. I was nervous to go in the first day but Braxton made sure to encourage the class to introduce themselves and helped out with whatever exercise I did not understand. In 2020, I wanted to truly commit to losing weight. With the help of Braxton's/Brent's training and Tasha's nutrition plan, I lost a total of 25lbs in 2020. I have made many friends through the gym and am grateful for the community. Definitely more of a family atmosphere instead of a nose in the air attitude you get from other local CrossFit gyms. read more

The coaches deliver kick butt workouts everyday, but all of them can be modified for an individual (to make it more manageable or to make it more challenging.) You feel welcome immediately stepping into your first class, which was super helpful when starting at a brand new gym. The community will keep you coming back and the coaches keep you getting better. The coaches have taken the time to teach and demonstrate the movements in a safe way and encourage students to push their limits. Everyone looks for something different when it comes to a box - for me it's all about the programming, coaches and athletes/community, all which Crossfit 425 truly excels in. When we first moved to Bellevue we got lost trying to drop into a new box... I called Crossfit 425 since we got lost finding their box - Braxton (the head coach at the box) answered and said we better hurry up and get there or else we will have to do burpees for being late - it was only a week before the Crossfit open was about to start and we knew after the first class that Crossfit 425 was going to be the box we joined in Bellevue. At this point we had belonged to 6 different boxes in the past 9 months because of our medical rotations through school so we knew what we were and were not looking for when it came to a new crossfit box. The coaches and community at Crossfit 425 is something special. They immediately welcomed us into their crossfit family and it was an honor competing along side the athletes there i the open. The athletes at crossfit 425 come from all walks of life and of all abilities - they all show up ready to work hard and push each other to grow and succeed. Braxton whom I mostly was coached by not only motivated me to do every open workout twice (ripped hands or not) but also brought out a whole new athlete in me. If you let him know your goals and are serious about making them happen he will hold you to a very high standard and help you achieve whatever it is your striving towards. Brent another one of the coaches at Crossfit 425 is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to breaking down movements and the mechanics that go into lifts and gymnastics techniques. In the few times I worked with him he helped me grow a lot as an athlete and master a few things I had been struggling with for a while. I had the opportunity to work out with Brenda a few times as well and she is your "no bull shit - get to the point" type of coach/athletes which also brings a really neat aspect to the coaching staff! The programming at crossfit 425 was spot on. They did a really good job at changing up the movements and allowing for athletes to scale up or down depending on their level of fitness. I always left the gym feeling like I got a good workout in. Aside from the excellent programming and amazing coaches the community and athletes that belong to Crossfit 425 is what really makes it special. They will suffer along side you during workouts, motivate you to go harder/heavier and even stay after with you to do extra and then get drinks/food with you to celebrate - be careful because you might even get drug into crazy half marathon rows on a Saturday for no reason ;)! We truly couldn't have found a better box to be apart of for our short medical rotation and we will always have a special place in our hearts for our new crossfit family at 425. I love Crossfit because I'm someone who wants to keep in shape and wants to see results. I've done Crossfit previously at other gyms, and when I saw the Groupon for this crossfit gym which was conveniently near my home, I thought it was perfect! The deal was 20 drop in classes for $45 dollars. I don't mind the tough attitude of trainers, that usually motivates me! I've experienced at ALL other Crossfit gyms tons of motivation, encouragement, and tips while doing the WOD (workout of the day) Unfortunately, this Crossfit gym is NOT a good gym for newcomers, or someone who isn't highly experienced in Crossfit. This Crossfit gym is good for highly experienced Crossfit members who compete. I try my best not to go to any classes with Braxton. I have never seen an instructor so tailored towards the experienced members, and not even help out newcomers. I'm shocked that the owners don't know about this? I'm guessing they put out a Groupon in order to gain business? But with an attitude with some of the instructors, you're not going to have any members wanting to join. Go to Northwest Crossfit in Bellevue instead! After my Groupon is up, I'll definately be returning there. Christina, Joe, and the rest of the trainers are great. I am giving it a one star because there is no way to give it a zero. I have never done Crossfit in my life so I decided to try it out. My friend and I bought a Groupon with a deal of 20 drop in classes for $49 dollars. To begin with when we arrived there was no one to welcome us at the reception, eventually someone that was walking in told us to fill up a paper and start to get some stretching, and pointed the suppose owner (trainer). We walked to him and introduce ourselves and he just didn't care and where he was standing, he stayed and just pointed out what to do. After the first exercise (which we did without any idea if it was right) he told us to get a soft ball of 10 pounds, when I found it i couldn't find any number indicating the weight so I asked him :"is this the one?" He answered: can't you see the number on it, it says there 10, 1 and 0 means 10. I was like WHAT??? He is saying I can't read numbers?Obviously I made a mistake letting it go right there. Actually my first mistake was not leaving when nobody came to welcome us to explain how it works. But I let it go! Second day, I got there did the stretching, walked to him, said hi and he literally turned his back on me, so I stood next to him for about 10 minutes waiting for instructions. NOTHING he kept ignoring me and asking the old ones to do that and that... I had enough so I told him "you know what, I didn't pay for your to turn his back on me, you are very rude" He pretended he didn't hear that. He pretended I wasn't there. So I left for good!! I have one thing to say about this guy. HE is rude and I don't even know his name because he didn't even care to introduce himself. I never went back and I never will. I contacted Groupon costumer service that promptly refund my money and promise to valuate the kinds of deals they offer. I DO NOT recommend!!!!!! read more

This place has made being fit fun! I did cross fit once before in Arizona and vowed to never do it again because I injured my neck so badly from the routine. It was all about doing as much weight as possible and as many reps as possible with no regard to form. My friend told me about his place and explained how different it was. I constantly receive feedback on form and how to do certain exercises. And the group mentality is amazing. It pushes you to levels you never would've believed possible. At the end of every class you lay there completely exhausted, nothing left in the tank. What a feeling of accomplishment! You can't wait to come back. The classes are fun, we'll play tournaments of medicine ball volleyball for warms etc. Particularly like Braxton. He leads most of the classes and will push you to your limits and beyond. The trainers don't pay any attention to the people, not even in the beginners class(unless Sarah is giving class, she is nice), but the other guys are just helping the pro students who looks like live there and use the gym even at the beginners class. Also sometimes they are just looking at the cellphone and don't help you improve your skills or anything. In addition to all of that, to get a simple receipt you need to email this guys who I had to email 3 times until I got a response and just gave me a simple word file with not even the date on it. He didn't even take the time to save it as PDF. I don't recommend this to anyone. read more

Crossfit 425 is a great Crossfit box. The community and trainers are top notch and really strive to improve members' fitness. Braxton programs fun and challenging workouts and always pushes members to do their best without coming across the wrong way. There is a real family feel among the regulars at the gym. Being a new member/visitor at the gym is a good thing and the trainers take the time to ensure you're doing movements the right way with safety in mind. Crossfit can seem intimidating but this gym makes it feel fun and comfortable. You will be challenged but everyday presents an opportunity to accomplish something new. I moved to Bellevue temporarily for school for 3 months and found CrossFit 425 right away. Because I have moved around a few times over the last few years I have seen it all when it comes to CrossFit boxes. CrossFit 425 and their trainers are top tier and I would recommend to any level of athlete. There are 3 different trainers there: Braxton, Brent, and Brenda who I had great experiences with each of them. They genuinely care about individual growth and help you to meet your fitness goals. These trainers do a good job teaching movements to make sure you avoid injury and continue to hit PRs. The community that 425 has built is also remarkable. The members are awesome to workout with and made me feel at home after a few days. I was someone who felt like going to the regular gym was a chore but I definitely look forward to CrossFit at 425. There were all levels of athletes working out together at 425. Each class is an hour long and during that hour they make sure you are warmed up well before moving into a a strength portion of the class where you generally work on a lift followed by a wod. This format is common among CrossFit gyms but programming at 425 was the best I have experienced meaning the strength and Wods were well designed. CrossFit 425 has a great facility with everything you need. I always came straight from work and changed at the gym. Overall I gave CrossFit 425 5 stars and I hope to be back there one day! read more

My buddy and I joined using a Groupon and received 20 free sessions at the beginning of this year. We both joined for different reasons, but came to the same conclusion: Crossfit 425 ROCKS! It is certainly imposing if your first starting out, seeing all the crossfitters go at it, but if you just jump into the fray, I guarantee you a workout that will keep you hungry for more. The support from the staff (Braxton and Brent) are top notch. They give just the right amount of encouragement and discipline, while the fellow crossfitters are just as encouraging (especially of newcomers) as well. If it wasn't for being in the NAVY and being called to serve my country, I would have definitely joined as a full time member, My advice to you if your thinking about it: Less thinking and just go for it. read more

Braxton Brent and the CF425 family changed my life.... After six months of prodding from a friend to start crossfit I joined crossfit425 because of a groupon deal. I had been in ok shape in my high school and college years but years of sitting at a desk and working long hours took its toll. Thanks to the motivational and teaching styles of Braxton and Brent, 4 months later I am 30 pounds lighter (back to my old high school weight which I never thought was possible) and have a greater lease on life. Spouse and I bought a Groupon intending to get in shape and give Crossfit a try after many rave reviews from our friends. Can't say it was love at first sight (or first class) - that's when I learned the pull up bar and I weren't friends! But after a few weeks and many sore muscles later, I'm a fan. Unlike typical gyms, this fitness facility is ONLY about the workout. There are no mirrors, pools, or spa's. It is in environment that encourages personal fitness success, responsibility, and accountability. The CrossFit culture is not for everyone, but the workouts can be! I have made some incredible friends, and I cant wait to go to class each day. My entire attitude towards fitness has changed since joining this community. I chase the workout not the body appearance, and by doing so I am stronger and faster than I have been in my whole life trying every other form of workout. Crossfit 425 is legit. They run excellent workouts, the members are so welcoming and friendly, and they are really just so supportive. They expect nothing less than 100%, and if you're new to Crossfit, it's definitely a good idea to go to their intro classes, otherwise it might be a bit overwhelming. Also, I am a college kid who was in town for a week or so, and Braxton was so generous and flexible with my situation. I've been to a few gyms and this one is by far the best. I have been working out here for 6 months now and am impressed by the coaches and the workouts. All the classmates are great as well, making the culture top-notch. This isn't one of those gyms with meatheads and people who take things too seriously. It is one of those gyms where people work hard and support/encourage others when they can. My advice: stick with it! It will suck in the beginning, and you might only be able to do 1 or 2 workouts a week. But keep going! You will get used to it, your body will adjust, and you will have a lot more energy every day. Within 1 month you will already notice changes in your body and your energy level. Remember that it will all be worth it if you just stick with it. Also, don't compare yourself with the other classmates. Do weights that are comfortable to you, and try your best. Within one/two months you will be caught up and will surprise yourself when you look back. It is a great feeling! To summarize: This is a top notch gym with top notch trainers. Crossfit is difficult, but if you stick with it, and go at your own pace, you will be blown away. This gym nurtures and encourages that type of behavior. Hope to see you there! read more

This place was fun, but I probably won't recommend this gym to any of my friends. Pros: 1. Great community. The class is full of experienced CrossFitters and all classmates are very supportive and helpful. 2. Nice and clean facility. 3. Good location with ample parking. 4. Brent was a good trainer. Cons: 1. Although the gym claimed on their website to welcome all levels, it does not really cater to the newbies. Classes for people who are new to CrossFit are only at 1 p.m. on Mon - Thurs, when most people are either at work or school. 2. There are two main trainers here: Brent and Braxton, and each of them basically teaches 3 days a week. I've found Brent's coaching style to be more attentive than Braxton's. My friends and I attended Braxton's class on our first day and he completely ignored us. We had to look at people around us and followed them. All my friends decided not to join any subsequent classes. I stuck out to finished my whole month purchase, but skipped all Braxton's classes. 3. Trainer teaches a private lesson at the same time he teaches a group class. 4. Trainer on the phone a lot during class. 5. Trainer seems to talk/help only certain people (favoritism??? Possibly). To sum up my Pros and Cons: If you are an experienced CrossFitter, then this gym may work out for you. If you are new to CrossFit, I would not recommend this place. Personally, if you are going to pay about $150 a month, you deserve 100% attention from the trainer to help you get up to speed quickly and not just a half of it. I think this place has a lot of potential to become a great CrossFit gym. They have many promotional discounts, e.g. Groupon, to get new people to join. Unfortunately, they will need to work on retaining people and not just attracting them. Update 05/20/2013 - I have tried other CrossFit gyms and have a much better experience. I also ran into a couple of people who were former Crossfit425 customers and they had the same unpleasant experience. Additionally, I wanted to clarify that I was open-minded when I was a customer at this gym, and asked a lot of questions. Unfortunately, I didn't feel like certain trainer cared to coach me. One time I dropped the weight bar on myself (stupid of me), and the coach just stood there not caring to see if I injured myself. I decided to drop in for a free workout to give Crossfit 425 a try. Crossfit has a good reputation in the area but Crossfit and Crossfit 425 are completely different companies. Crossfit 425 doesn't have much in the way of exercise equipment, as the style of exercise doesn't include much in the way of lifting, for example. The style is very aggressive and quick, and you won't get much out of working out here if you can't keep up with the pace. If you want a decent workout here, you need to already be in great shape. I only came one day because I didn't like the experience, but despite being a newcomer in mediocre shape (getting in shape is why I went there...), I felt kind of looked down on by the group. "Don't throw up on my floor" is one example of a condescending thing I was told by one of the trainers. Can you believe a trainer had the balls to say that?? I never went back, and if my experience is something you want to avoid, I'd recommend not wasting your time with these jerks. Literally any other place in the area is better, especially if you're serious about getting in shape. read more

I have been at CF425 for about 5 months and I'm in love! I had tried another crossfit location and felt a lot of pressure to increase the weight and go faster, which I know can lead to injury and long term pain. Here at CF425 Braxton and Brent are very knowledgable and supportive . They encourage you and offer advice to improve your training. It makes you want to do better and grow. If your intimidated by hardwork and determination, then this may not be for you, but if you want get fit, see changes in your body and strength with a great group then come on down to CF425! First, I love crossfit in general. Will definitely get you in shape! Unfortunately, 425 is NOT the place to go. Our first class (the beginners' class), we were floundering because we didn't know how to do any of the exercises, and the instructor didn't really seem very interested in the class. This proved to be the norm. Braxton teaches most of the classes, and he's generally uninterested, and more often than not, he actually just stands there, texting through most of the class! Not even pretending to pay attention, other than to occasionally look up and say, "Keep going". If he were the only instructor, this would be a one star review. One of the other clients, Krupa, was really helpful and friendly, and taught us a lot. Brent is better; he will actually pay attention so that new people don't hurt themselves, which is easy to do if you don't know what you're doing. Sadly, Brent only teaches a couple of classes. The worst was when the Crossfit Open started- Braxton just totally ignored the beginners, to the point where they didn't even have the classes that were on the schedule! We'd come in, he'd write down a quick workout, and then go work with the competitors. He seemed almost disdainful of beginners. It's sad- crossfit is awesome, and there were times when Brent got us totally motivated, but in the end, we're going to find a place where they want new people. read more

"Crossfit 425 is not just a box, it's a family." Crossfit 425 is a small hidden gem in the downtown Bellevue area. Although it seems to be a small gym in size, they are very efficient and organized that I have never felt cramped or that it was too big of a class for the room available. Being a student, the CF425 crew was able to get me an amazing rate that was not even comparable to any other gym around. They want to see you in there, and have a fix for every excuse! The trainers are involved, super friendly, and there to push you and get you to do your best. All workouts can be modified for any fitness level and injuries alike; they are different daily and are programed to combine strength training with cardio and agility. After my first week there I could tell I was being taught by people who really understand the anatomy of the body and encourage safe and fun workouts. Both Braxton and Brent are more than willing to challenge you to meet and exceed your goals, whatever they may be. First and foremost, they are always making sure that you have the fundamental movements down and will create strength programs to help you and your body get ready and be prepared prior to you advancing to a heavier weight or harder movements/techniques. You will get your butt kicked with some hard workouts, but you see results SO fast. Not only do the trainers keep you accountable but the community at CF425 is close-knit, competitive, and welcoming. I have never done crossfit before in my life! I was very scared as I heard it can be very intense. I came for my first class and was immediately greeted by Braxton. He explained what to fill out, how the classes work, and made sure I did not have any injuries. He led the class and it was incredible! He really paid attention to all of the students and made sure I was doing everything correctly as it was my first class. When I was falling behind he came to me and helped me push through the burn! I am SO shocked at all the low star reviews as I had a completely different experience. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. Being a small 110lbs female, you get worried in such a tough environment that you will not be able to keep up. But everyone is so helpful and supportive you can truly gain amazing results if you keep coming back! I felt results after my first class! Thank you CrossFit 425!! read more

I also tried Crossfit 425 on the groupon deal - super cheap for crossfit (should have been a red flag!)! I'd never tried crossfit before and figured this would be a good opportunity to try for cheap and if I loved it, I wouldn't have an issue spending the money to commit. I've recently lost weight through the weightwatchers program and have picked up running, and I needed something to amp up my workouts as I had hit a plateau. I went to the beginner 7:30 classes and absolutely loved it. I can't remember the name of the trainer I had the first couple times, but he had sandy blonde hair and was extremely encouraging. Next couple classes were taught by Braxton, and he was also very motivating. Not as encouraging as the first guy, but definitely kept me motivated and made me feel like I was at a gym where I belonged. He was fantastic!!! I was going with a friend and she couldn't do the beginner class one day, but could make the earlier standard class. I was a little apprehensive, but showed up with her. Brent was teaching and came over and introduced himself. He told us we should think about doing the beginner class a few more times because we probably weren't ready. My friend stayed, but I left, planning on coming back for the 730 beginner class, just like he had suggested. From the time I walked in the door to the time I left, Brent was on my case. Calling me out for leaving the earlier class (even though he had recommended that I wasn't ready, and I totally agreed with him), calling me names like princess - it was really demotivating. I'm all for having someone push me, but he made me feel like I didn't belong there. I came back for a second beginner class with him and it was the same abuse...so I'm totally done with this gym. All in all, I would rate the other trainers a 5, but Brent was so horrible that I will not be returning. If rudeness and name-calling motivates you and you're not a beginner...this is the gym for you... otherwise, i'd recommend trying a different gym. read more

One year back I joined CrossFit 425 but had to stop after 3 months due to injury caused due to lifting weights way beyond I was supposed to. Now I am back in the same arena and this time no looking back . Here is my full story on this: I always wanted to look good and athletic since i was a kid but never got a serious opportunity or time to pursue that. Been to gym, group exercises etc etc but none caught me up with what I wanted. Had heard a lot about crossfit over internet and later met old friends who were doing crossfit for quite sometime and I could see the results in them. I decided to try out crossfit even though I have some issue with my knees and was not certain if I could do all those crossfit exercises. Then i saw Groupon for Crossfit 425 and it was very cheap and awesome deal for beginners like me and who are uncertain if they could do Crossfit cause of certain physical issues/limitations etc. On the first day, i asked trainer if my condition (basically I can run and do all daily jobs but cannot do full squats or lunges with ease, the pain in the knees restrict my motion) will be a blocking thing for me. To which, he assured me to concentrate on the upper body and i can then slowly work on the lower body for optimum results. I started going to Crossfit 425 for 3-4 days a week and i could see all the benefits like my stamina almost tripled, surprisingly my knees got better and slowly I was gaining the strength. Once the Groupon expired, I enrolled my self in regular classes which was still less than most of the other Crossfit's has to offer. During my 3rd month, i injured myself during a deadlift, it was all my mistake...I was comfortable at 135LB but straight went to 195LB and during 4th set, I injured my upper thigh muscle. I was still able to run and do all other routine jobs but most of exercises were limited due to injury. After consultation, i was told to take rest and I took a break for 6-7 months. Once i recovered, I enrolled myself again in Crossfit 425 and its been a month and I already see the difference :)...my strength and stamina are building. Now this time I am taking it easily with smaller weights, building the required strength, My thighs never felt so strong before and recently i did deadlift reps with 175LB with ease. Crossfit 425 is fun place for sure :)...made some good friends who are always willing to help and trainers are awesome. All the trainers: Braxton, Brent, Krupa and Sarah are fun to do workouts with. They push you to the right limits and always give that punch of humor when you are in utmost need during those tiring work outs. The wods (work of the day) that are designed here are awesome workouts, involve both fun and will drain out the last sweat from ones body ;) I would recommend anyone to try out this place and believe me if you really want to be there on the other side where you see yourself to be strong, this is the place where you have to start :). read more

The trainers give very few instructions during class and don't explain the workouts well. They consistently start class late (like today, I'm here and it's 10 minutes I to class and hey haven't started yet). read more

Based on the reviews it seems that people either don't like the gym or really love it. For those who came once or twice and left, I would say that if you sticked around longer, you would have discovered a fun and supportive community with a very wide range of age and athletic abilities. I came to CrossFit 425 about two years ago while recovering from shoulder and achilles surgeries. Since then I have seen great improvements in strength, flexibility, range of motion, and general fitness. Braxton and Brent are great coaches who work hard to give us great workouts every time. I have received good instructions and advices that greatly improved my technics and prevented injuries. Getting in shape takes time and persistence, and a great gym with great people will certainly help. read more

I'm skinny fat and trying out a couple crossfits in Bellevue. I've tried 425 and Amped. It's important to me that the trainers do a good job of making sure I use proper from during some of the workouts as I begin to build stength back up. So far, 425 trainers are the best at this. I don' want to be one of those ugly posts saying that I was permanently injured while trying to get healthy. read more

I bought the Groupon to try Crossfit as I have been wanting to try it for a long time, and I can only say that I love the workout, but I will never sigh up at this Gym It was the most horribly uncomfortable experience in my life, I have never felt so out of place as I felt at this Gym, the Coach Braxton should never be allowed to deal with People, since the first time I stepped in he was not welcoming at all and just kind left me standing there, he didn't ask me not even one question about my background if I have ever worked out in my life he didn't even give any instruction or tell me how to start, instead he asked a gal that is doing her workout to take me through some warm ups and after that I was completley on my own! I am talking at my absolute first workout I wanted to leave but I thought I will give it another try, so I came back the next day and it was even worse as there was no one to take me though any instructions and I felt so uncomfortable, Braxton is not willing to talk to you at all he just writs the work out on the board and you are supposed to know what to do, what he wrote made no sense to me as I have no clue what names of exercises are and I had no clue what to do In short this was painfully uncomfortable and it even did a lot of emotional damage, I absolutely hated it Today I went in again and he looked at me and said nothing, so I decided this isn't worth my nerves and I will try a different crossfit Gym, so I left without doing my workout, what a wast of time and energy, I was almost in tears, as I don't know what his problem is! I've been coming here for about 3 weeks now as I purchased 20 classes from a Groupon deal. I was skeptical at first as the first few classes I stepped into were very intimidating with all the strength training and power lifting techniques. I had previously been taking boxing classes in Seattle, which was very interactive and fun, and ALL cardio. Then after a few more classes, I found out that every class is incredibly dynamic and always changing between strength, core, and cardio exercises. Brent and Braxton are intimidating yet helpful, funny yet serious. If you're looking to get in shape, this is the place to be, all the regular members are also friendly, encouraging, and helpful in supporting one another reach their goals. read more

I hate writing this, but I have to share my "New U Challenge" experience. We got 6 weeks of CrossFit, but paid for 10 weeks of classes. What they promised was personalized nutrition advise and a meal app to justify the increased price. We didn't get either one. In fact, we only saw Tasha the first day and there wasn't time carved out for personalized planning. I won't lie, CrossFit sucked at first, but I stayed committed and felt awesome after each workout. I did enjoy CrossFit 425 and would consider a long-term plan. However, I feel that the promotion was ill-managed and severely under-delivered. I asked about the cost difference and wasn't offered any considerations. For that, they get a generous two-star rating and I won't be going back. If you are looking to join straight up and not part of a promotion, then I would say go for it. Otherwise, be warned that the pricing (and promises) may be a rip-off. read more
