Peak hours aren't favorable - literally everyone and their grandma will be waiting for machines so I do my best to arrive early or later in the evening. Be prepared to answer "how many more sets do you have left?" - overstimulating M-Fri 5-8pm. There is a new remodel going on and they seem to be getting way more new clients. This just means it's going to be an awfully packed gym. As of recently, their staff have been better. They greet you and are generally welcoming. Cleanliness is a major issue here. I do not recommend immunocompromised people to be in the women's restroom for too long. There is black mold and not ventilated. I urge everyone to submit a WA state L&I complaint about this. Their workers do the best they can and maintain daily but something has to be done about the mold. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen for these workers that have to be in it day to day and don't mask up. Lastly, their gym equipment is not as clean and the only PPE offered are alcohol wipes - half of their time they're out. You get what you pay for. *Brand new remodel! Let's be honest before the remodel this was probably my least favorite LA fitness. Since the remodel in 2025 it's even better than the signature LA fitness. They got rid of the basketball court and really upped the amount of machines. Still too much space taken up by trainer areas and other additional fee spaces. read more

Sometimes I certainly don't know what this gym is thinking. How come they can not clean the sauna before gym opens. Went to gym only to sauna. It was closed down for cleaning. Waited for over 45 minutes still not open. Business use to care about the needs of their customers not anymore. Little common sense goes a long ways . read more

I really like this location, but I have two major concerns that will determine whether I continue my membership here. First, the temperature and ventilation. It is incredibly hot inside. For a gym environment, proper air circulation is essential, yet the air feels stagnant and there is a persistent, strong odor. It is very difficult to work out in these conditions. I'm literally drenched in sweat the moment I walk in, and the lack of fresh air makes me feel lightheaded and dizzy during my sets. Is there a working AC system? Are there plans to improve cooling for the summer? I need to know this before I decide whether to renew my membership or not. The last three months have been unbearable, and I believe this might even be a safety/health code issue. Second, the equipment. Many of the machines in the main area, specifically the hip abduction/adduction (inner/outer thigh) and leg curl machines, are broken. While the renovated zone is great, these essential machines have been out of order for a while. Are there plans to repair or replace them soon? I would appreciate a clear response so I can understand if I should continue coming here this summer or if I need to look for another gym where the conditions are safer and the equipment is functional. read more

I am not one to write a negative review but here we are. I won't mention the consent broken equipment, the smell of urine or how I never saw anyone clean the equipment or any of the other reasons I canceled my membership. But rather the fact I canceled my membership in November and recently discovered I was still being charged only after looking at my bank statement. I called last week make sure it was canceled and they confirmed I would not be charged again and lo and behold I was charged for an additional month today. Brandon (the manger) has don't little to nothing to resolve this situation. Needles to say wouldn't trust this company with automatic payments or banking information. read more

This gym is beautiful. This was my first time here and James showed me around. He explained that the gym is newly renovated as of November. I have been working about for close to 15 years, been in hundreds of gyms, and this is by far one of the nicest I've seen. Fantastic environment and people to get a good workout in. read more

Equipment stays broken for a long time, lots of cardio machines are out of rotation. Bathrooms are generally not that clean.

1/3 of machines regularly broken, only 4 squat racks but the worst part for me is that the sauna and the bathrooms are in the same "room". Because of this, the bathrooms are about 85°. Nothing is worse than being sweaty during a workout and then going to use a roasting bathroom. It's so hot and steamy that you can't even pull up yours pants because of how wet your skin gets. read more

I love taking Zumba classes at LA Fitness Bellevue Kelsey Creek, especially with Yuping . Her class is always the most popular - every time it's packed with people who love her energy and teaching style. She only has one class here, which is such a pity because so many members would love to see her more often. Her classes make working out so fun and motivating. I really hope the gym can consider adding more of her classes. We love her! read more

There used to be a good size LA fitness in downtown Bellevue but they closed down a while ago now there is just this one left in Bellevue and it is tiny. It gets really packed here and it's gross when people are sweating all over the place and their sweat could fly up and hit you that's how close they are to you on the aerobics machines. It doesn't look like the place is very well kept either and a lot of the equipment is needing maintenance read more

I don't know why anyone would join this gym after they tour the place. It's super crowded. More than half of the treadmills and other equipments are broken and they don't get fixed for months. The men's bathroom is filthy. If you're looking for a gym, please stay away from this place. read more

Your experience at any commercial gym will vary depending on what time of day you come in. This is only my second time at this location, and it was okay. It's located in a plaza, so there is lots of parking, however it was hard to find parking since I did come in at around 6PM. It is a fairly new LA Fitness compared to other locations, in the sense that is more upgraded. It was VERY BUSY at 6PM and it didn't seem to get less busy until like after 8PM. I have been to other locations at that time, and I have never seen a gym so busy like this Bellevue location. read more

This gym has a very nostalgic feel to me. I grew up in a rural farming area, and the smell as you walk into the bathrooms reminds me of my youth. If you've ever walked into a barn full of livestock or been privy to the scent of farmers spreading manure over the fields, then you will feel right at home. The rest of the gym is on par with most corporate gym facilities, has plenty of equipment, and is extremely busy during peak hours. read more

I'm really surprised by the 1 start reviews- I think this gym is great! I only lift weights, so can't speak to the spin bikes or other workout areas, but the weights area is quite spacious and well stocked. There are 4 squat racks and deadlift platforms, at least 4 bench racks, 4-6 weight towers with cables, various other racks, dumbbells, barbells etc and plenty of weight machines. I think the staff are perfectly friendly and helpful if needed. read more

It's been 5 years since my last review of this gym and I gave it a two star rating. Things have gotten worse, so now it's down to one star. I'm must be a glutton for punishment because I'm still working out here. It is convenient to home and my office and it is nice that I avoid traffic by working out at 5:30 AM. Here's the big problems with this place and with other LA Fitness facilities that I have visited. Number 1, management sucks! They don't know how to supervise the employees and they don't know how to make sure the place is clean and well run. The reception people love to spend time on their phones and on the computer (not doing work). Number 2, they wouldn't re-contract the cycling instructor, Dave Preston after COVID. They also didn't recontract the instructor for the Saturday morning cycling class. Dumb move! For Dave's class we always had a minimum of 15 in attendance and during the winter the room would be 90% full. After they declined to re-contract him, there are only 3 people from that class that still work out at the place. Number 3, the equipment is in constant need of repair. Many of the treadmills and ellipticals need maintenance. Most of the TV screens don't work. When the padding on the benches are torn, it takes about a month for the upholsterers to repair it. Number 4, the maintenance crew does a good job, but they arrive at 5:00 AM and have to work around the members. It would be better if they cleaned the facility when the place was closed so they wouldn't have to constantly work around the members activity. Number 5, management must never use the toilets or showers. Either that or they live like slobs. There's pink and black mold around the urinals and in the showers. A quick spray of bleach or anti-fungal cleanser once a week would solve the issue. Number 6, the management doesn't enforce their video recording policy. It's difficult to workout when you have be careful not to knock over someone's phone/camera or get into their shot. Number 7, management allows members to sit on equipment while they text or surf on their phones. I understand that people rest between sets, but a 10 minute rest on a leg extension machine when they are lifting 40 lbs? Number 8, the trainers must be the most unhappy people on earth. I never see them smile. I the 10 years that I have been a member, there is not one time where any of them have smiled, said hello or even acknowledged my presence. Unfortunately, there aren't many options available due to the closing of a few of the competitors in the area. So, for now I'll be stuck in a gym that SUCKS! The only good thing about this place is the hours of operation and the low cost. read more

This gym has extraordinary employees. Alex Ramirez stayed after a recent Sunday night closing to find my lost cell phone. He is so thoughtful and considerate. Joel, my trainer, is right up there at the top, also. In the short time I've been training with him, my health and strength have come a long way. Ryan is always helpful, and goes out of his way for you. This gym is clean, friendly, and equipped well. Nice atmosphere. I always look forward to coming here. Everyone is very nice. gym was very dirty !! equipment was rusted and not very sturdy. we signed up for a free guest pass online, and the website gave us a QR code to scan. when we arrived, they made us go through this whole sign up process, a tour, etc etc that took 30+ minutes before we could even start working out. I've never had so much difficulty trying to just start a workout plus the employees asked us over and over again if we were going to join, which i get once or twice, but like we just want to free trial it first, it felt like we were being pushed to join before we could even try the gym, lol. then they sat us down at a desk like a car dealership and had us fill out forms and whatnot. we just wanted to stair master, it shouldn't be this hard plus the employees looked like they hated being there and didn't enjoy helping us, but that's just my opinion read more

Wow. I just had a pretty unpleasant experience at LA Fitness in Bellevue. I just moved back to Bellevue from San Diego and went to the Bellevue LA Fitness to get a free pass. I used to be a member if LA Fitness in Kirkland but moved away in 2017. So now I am back in town and looking at re-joining after 6 years, and I want to get a free work out in at this club in Bellevue and inquire about a membership for myself and my wife. So the front desk person sends me back to the staff. This staff person tells me I have to sign up online (even though the online sign-up requires me to accept their marketing communications). So I go ahead and sign up online and then he tells me "oh you were a member previously, so you cant get a free pass". I was surprised at that... I told him I was a member over six years ago at a different club... and he just sort of looks at me suspiciously as if I am trying to scam LA fitness out of a work out, which reflects poor customer service. I would have expected him to say "welcome back Mr Grant, happy that you have moved back and we woud love to have you back as a customer, please go work out and let me know if I can answer any questions." That is customer service. However, LA fitness staff simply eye me suspiciously... I will take my business elsewhere... If you want poor customer service and a stuck up snotty attitude, then Bellevue LA fitness is the place for you... read more

I signed up for a free pass to try out this gym. Trey was helping me to activate the pass and had a worst experience with him. He was asking too many questions and digging deeper. It was very annoying and frustrating. I finally fed up and walked out of gym. I wasn't comfortable with some questions and I told him about it but he won't stop. Just to activate the trial pass is just unnecessary. I don't underestimate why would these fitness centers hire such people or at least they should train them well to treat their customers better. read more
