I was denied treatment right before a total knee replacement on a tecnicality - i was seconds late to a non scheduled appointment. Rather than work with me they denied me and cut me off totally from the clinic - still to this day cut off. That knee nearly because a failed TKR and i ended up hospitalized. They are very good at cutting you completely out of the system - not so good at keeping the actual word of the law. read more

Joining Renew has been a great investment and one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. My boyfriend and I primarily train with Miguel and Evan, but on some occasions we have worked out with the other trainers as well. All of the trainers make an effort to get to know us, our goals, and keep up to date with our individual files. This includes the intensity of our workouts, heaviness of the weights, skill level, etc. Even though my boyfriend and I are working towards different goals, the trainers are well organized and have been able to plan our doubles session so that we each get enough attention and support to meet our goals. Renew not only focuses on the fitness aspect of our lives but on the nutritional and lifestyle aspects as well. Miguel has been instrumental in improving the quality of our food intake and educating us in nutrition. This knowledge has been invaluable and we have been able to better plan our meals to benefit our bodies. Weight loss as been my primary goal and I am happy to say that I have lost 30 lbs and counting, thanks to the team at Renew. They make workouts fun and interesting for me, while at the same time motivate and hold me accountable to the goals I have set for myself. I've been training at Renew for a week. I am beyond thrilled with my trainer Paige as well as the owner Glen. I am not new to fitness so it was extremely important to find a gym & a trainer that could help me pick up where I left off before moving to Seattle for the summer. Glen was happy to talk to my original trainer before I began at his gym to insure everyone was on the same page with my injuries & routine. I have to say that in this past week Paige has pushed me & shown me I have more endurance than I knew I had. I'm excited to continue to workout at Renew. I just completed 2 years of Physical Therapy successfully and was ready to take my strength and stability to a new level. I had a ton of apprehension about getting the right trainer who would have a good mix of knowledge about body mechanics and how to train. Renew Fitness and Paige have exceeded my expectations. I started out with the 2 free sessions and just completed my second paid session. I've been working with Paige and she has some how figured out how to increase my workouts dramatically without putting harmful strain on my neck and shoulders. I honestly wasn't sure it was possible. I love Renew, from the first time I visited and met with the energetic owner, Glen, to training here 3 days a week with Evan, every trainer here is extremely friendly and helpful! I had my doubts at first, being in an office building and being used to large gyms and the industrial-like Crossfit boxes, but they made me a believer over the past 2 months. As far as the results, I'm officially down 10lbs and have put on over 6lbs of muscle in around 11 sessions total! The variety of the workouts is my favorite part, and my trainer (Evan) is eager to both challenge me and customize my workout depending on what I want to work on, not what is on the agenda. Best gym I have ever worked out in!! I have been working out with the trainers at this gym for almost 5 years now. When I began here, I was in poor shape, even though I had been working out with a private trainer. In the almost 5 years, I have not had my severe lower back issues, I have lost and kept off 25 pounds and I am a very strong 66 year old female. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable and all the training is geared to each individual. If I do come in with an issue (sprained ankle, injuries from a fall, etc) they know exactly how to work around that and have even strengthened injured areas. I cannot recommend Renew Fitness enough. And, by the way, these are not 19 year old "trainers." All the trainers are mature, well educated adults who are all role models at the gym as well as in their daily and family lives. I truly enjoy working out at Renew. I had never tried personal training before, but it is everything it's cracked up to be (at least at Renew). I was referred to Renew by a trusted friend. The people at Renew never pestered me or tried to pressure me. But once I committed, they have been interested, supportive, and helpful. The trainers there are balanced, competent, and professional. I bought the private workout sessions here because of its good reviews on yelp. Now it turns out to be a smart decision. So far in less than 2 months I've lost 7 lbs. One thing I like most is that the my trainer Evan not only helped me do workout during the one hour session, but also impart weight-loss knowledge and help me make plans about diet and doing workout in gym myself. I've done just about every class or workout out there, and hands-down, getting a personal trainer at Renew Fitness has been the best way to exceed my fitness goals. I dont know if I'll ever go back to not having a PT. At Renew they are the best of the best, (better than trainers found at your every day gym), and they know how to motivate, and encourage you to push yourself harder. They help you set goals, and then help you acheive them through both excercise and nutritional advice. This may be the more expensive route to go, but I highly recommend Renew and it's well worth the money. This is a great place whatever you fitness goals are! I tried several other personal training options, classes, spinning before joining Renew. My goal was to lose weight and I wasn't able to achieve that until joining Renew. In addition to very targeted to your needs training sessions, Renew has also nutrition sessions and free use of their body fat measurement machine for which you would need to pay extra anywhere else. It was this 2 additions and the great trainers that helped me get into shape and lose the weight I wanted to lose for so long. I lost 19 pounds and got to a 20-22 percent body fat. The last time I posted a review was about 3 years ago. Now I have been at Renew for 9 years! My updated review at this time is to say that I still LOVE and totally trust this gym and ALL the trainers! When I began at this gym I was quite out of shape and had constant lower back issues. I can say that in 9 years I've not had those back issues as the trainers (thanks Miguel) keep me strong! They work with everyone as an individual....no one size fits all workout. If you have any issues (like I broke a foot, had a knee surgery, etc) you can still get a full workout. These trainers are experienced and well educated and are more than able to compensate for an individual's personal issues and still give you a great workout. You can trust each one of them to take good care of you! I finally got my husband to start training and he said "I feel happy when I leave!" This is a man who'd rather not work out, but at almost 70, my strength and ability shamed him into it! ;) If you are shopping around for a personal training gym you must give Renew Fitness a try. They just remodeled and have instituted an incentive program that gets you things like free sessions just for attending your workouts or reserving sessions online! You can't lose (except unwanted fat). I am more fit than I've ever been and I am enjoying it! read more

Renew has become part of my every day routine. The trainers are all incredibly dedicated, friendly and custom every single workout to you - whatever you are trying to achieve - fat loss, stamina increase, muscle definition, marathon/Iron man training, rehabilitation - the list goes on. I firmly fit in the fat loss category but since joining Renew I've become so much stronger and agile, as well as losing about 30lbs in weight. I cannot rate Paige and Miguel highly enough - each workout with them is different, so you have no chance to get bored, and yet at the same time they are pushing you to progress and achieve your goals. I joined Renew Fitness in September after waiting a long time to get back in shape after having twins. I absolutely love it and have never felt more motivated in my life. My trainer Octavian is incredible and I couldn't of gotten where I am today without him. His personal dedication to me and my goals are worth every penny. The facility is top notch and all of the trainers are very professional. I was able to get back on the ski slopes with the proper training after 26 years of not skiing due to a knee injury. I joined Renew Fitness in Nov 2015 and have been training with Octavian and Paige 3 days a week. I am amazed by the improvements they have helped me reach...not easy, but well worth the effort. I really enjoy the time I spend with them at the gym and everyone there really goes out of their way to make it a fun and effective place to workout. Octavian takes time to check in with me during the week by email and provides additional encouragement and suggestions for things to focus on doing the days I'm not in the gym. Paige does a great job customizing my training, so I am always learning new techniques and ways of training. It's never a boring work out when those two are involved.
