Only gave 1 star because I could not give lower. Called at night to have locks re-keyed.was told they would get back with me on time and charges in 2 minutes. Called an hour later and asked to just make it the next day. Was told they would call at 10am to let me know the time. I called at 10:20 and they said I was out area and they would not be coming. it was a terrible experience. I left my keys in my car and they charged me 242 dollars to open the door through the window. the technician told me because it was a fancy car it might be "high security" so it'd be harder to open, but my car's old, it was very easy to open, he literally pulled the lock so easily and the. he told me he wouldn't charge the service fee which was 15 dollars. i checked and he dis charge me that fee and charge me for opening a "high security" car. I called to complain and they basically said that is the technician who puts the price and that they won't do anything. Called from the stadium with keys locked in my vehicle. They said they would be there in 30 minutes. They called back said it would be 15 minutes longer. an hour and fifteen minutes later the guy called back from the number 407.409.4379. And said he could find me. Then he claimed the road was blocked. Then the main number 855.333.8266. stopped answering my calls. I then called another locksmith who was there in 15 minutes without an issue. This was a hijacked google search. I typed in Pop A Lock. And this company popped up. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS COMPANY. read more

I can't say enough good about this company! My son lost his keys late in the evening. I wasn't having any luck, then I called these guys. I wish I had saved myself the trouble and called them first! The dispatcher was incredibly polite and professional. The technician called back within 5 minutes with a time and price quote. The price was the best of all companies I called, and they came same night! The technician arrived in 30 minutes. Professional, polite, and had a key made within 30 more minutes. An hour from phone call to new key in hand...you can't beat that! 10/10 would recommend! read more

Very fast and nice! I was so stressed! I was working Brew at the Zoo and stupidly had my only set of car keys thrown in the trash! Ugh! So i got google and found Yachtaf. He got to me at the zoo in about 30 minutes and started getting to work. I had to pay 250 bc my car didn't have a code which really sucked. Would have been 150 if it had the code. I locked my keys out of my car unfortunately. Was told at first it would be $79 - 99. Then they PERSONALLY called me back saying "hi we have a new price, $75." By this time I've dealt with a few locksmiths on the phone & I just want my keys back. I agree, they tell me 30 minutes. 30 minutes goes by and I get a call from the locksmith who is supposed to be on the way - but apparently he is another 30 minutes away. (Keep in mind I'm a 23 year old at 10:30 at night in a sketch part of Jax) He then snaps at me, saying I need to listen to him and not his company on the other line for the wait time. So he arrives, gets the keys out in an easy 5 minutes, then up charges me to $110! Absolutely insane. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else besides this business. read more

I usually don't write reviews but this one is definitely a kicker. I was locked out of my apartment JUST THE BOTTOM LOCK. I've had a professional company come and unlock it for $75 (Howie's Quick 24/7 Lock and Key Service, LLC) Came and got the job done in less than 20 minutes. All tools on hand. This company sent a random guy in a car to come unlock the door, poi's sense of direction waited OVER 30 minutes for him to get there and about 20 minutes to get ONE LOCK unlocked. $165!! Now I don't mind paying the money isn't an issue. I just refuse to believe that that was worth almost $200. He told me he'd discount me $45 which brought me down to $120. There was no formal form of payment so i had to CASH APP him. He gave me the WRONG CASH APP so I sent a stranger $120 dollars and have to just pray that they will do the right thing. The one star given was only to allow me to leave this WARNING. On June 27, 2019, I called this establishment to open my residence after locking myself out. Upon arrival, the serviceman advised that it would cost $69 and an additional $25 for the service call. I told him that Pop-A-Lock only charged $75 and that I would call them. Afterwards, he agreed to charge the same as Pop-A-Lock and proceeded to open the door. THE VERY NEXT DAY, June 28th, my home was BURGLARIZED!!!! I, along with a friend whose phone was used to make the service call, made several attempts to contact this business and they have not returned any calls. The fact that my condo, which is located in the very front was burglarized in broad day light the very day after doing business with this company can not be coincidental. Also, the actions of the company are extremely suspect. All of this has been provided in my police report to Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. read more

We got locked our of our condo and called the first business that came up on search.. a lady answered and took all the details and mentioned that someone else would be contacting us in 10 mins.. after sometime got a call from this dude who said he would show up in 15 mins.. (this was Friday night around 10pm) this guy named Leon came up and checked out the door and lock and asked us for ID proof and gave us 2 options; one was $120 and other was $150 to unlock the door. we asked what the two options were and checked if the lock is going to be functional for future use - both options were the same from that perspective, so we chose the low cost one and he unlocked it in less than 10mins.. the lock is working fine and thanks to this guy to show up at that time of the day and we could get back into our Friday night party without much interruption! I would recommend this guy for sure! Just a tad bit pricey but that's what you get for getting locked out after a few drinks I guess.. read more
