I wish I could give a million stars to Cesar at 24/7 PC Tech. Last night, my computer won't turn on after I reconnected the DP and HDMI cables, but It kept giving me "no HDMI signal". At 19:30 , every PC had already closed. But Cesar from 24/7 PC Tech still picked up the phone, and walked me through how to reconnect the proper connectors and cables. Also told me one of monitor is cracked and cannot be repaired from the pictures I sent to him while on the phone. Cesar is so AMAZingly KIND! He didn't charged me ANYTHING! And told me to save the money to buy a new monitor replacing the broken one. I was so happy that I could finish my final exam project in time. Called Cesar monday 3/15/21 and was over with in an hour! He was very humble and professional. He was able to identify the problems with in minutes. I got 2 kids who were very distractive, but he was entertaining there questions and doing the tech work no problem, he said he's use to it with 4 kids of his own. He even stayed an extra 20 minutes to explain the repair and answer a lot of Technical questions I had not related to the repair done, but in software, components, recommendations, ect. I shopped around by calling 5 laptop repair shops in San Diego County. I chose 24/7 because they were the most responsive, the fastest in turn-around time and the friendliest. Cesar exceeded my initial expectations. My laptop was working very slowly due to viruses and outdated mechanical parts, I was told by another repair shop. Cesar confirmed that the mechanical parts were just fine and did not need replacement. He cleaned my laptop from viruses overnight so now it is working at a great speed. Edit: Please see his below comment if you want an example of how he ignores my words and treats his customers :). I've only been courteous. 5/5 for service. 1/5 for communication. The service was quick and efficient. The price was also fair but the owner was rude. At first I was quoted $49 for a battery replacement, but the price increased to $59 by the end of the repair. Ok fair. Still a fair price given that I also asked for something else to be checked. I also asked for a receipt which the tech said he can definitely send an email receipt. Three days go by and I message the owner that I still haven't received the receipt and he decides to be rude about it saying that technically, he wasn't the one who said he can give the receipt. Ok. No big deal. I gave a little feedback saying hey, your tech said it was possible. Maybe let him know but he decided that I was being rude and complaining. He didn't take kindly to feedback and thought I was complaining about the service and price when I was satisfied with that. What I wasn't satisfied with was the inconsistency in communication. But apparently they don't take feedback well. He kept going on about how they did me a service and that they should've charged me way more and that I'm complaining. If they're going to be rude, I have no reason to rely on this company in the future. Apparently, they also only deal in cash. Just so everyone knows! Edit: He messaged me back after our conversation ended to tell me I was a petty person trying to hinder his business for posting this review, and that karma will get me lol. As a customer, I'm entitled to my opinions and I'm also allowed to let others know. In no way am I trying to hinder his business but I just wanted to give other potential customers an honest review of my experience. I pity businesses who can't take feedback well. I hope his business thrives and that maybe someday, he'll be able to take customers feedback as we are the ones who enable him to have a business :).
