These guys are AMAZING. I filled out the request a quote form right here on yelp and Caesar called within a few minutes. He sent a tech to my house within 30 minutes. Tech guy Ceasar (#2) came out to evaluate my laptop at my house. He wore a mask and followed social distancing protocols. He found that the mother board was fried and not worth fixing. Ceasar and Caesar found me another computer, that was super cheap, way better than my previous laptop, they loaded it to with tons of updated software AND gave me a 2 year warrantee. To my surprise they left my old laptop which I had offered it to them to scrap for parts. This told me that they weren't trying to just get my old computer to resell to someone else for profit. My wife had an issue with her computer booting up correctly, so we decided to give 24/7 PC Tech a call seeing their reviews it seemed like they could take care of us without any issues. It was around 7:00 pm and they answered their phone right away +1.... I explained to Cesar what the issue was with my wife's computer, and he said he could be at our house in less than 30 minutes another +1... he was at our house in 20 minutes. he said he would take her computer back to the office and get it back to us by the next morning at the latest and that's another +1 with a great quote!!! So, on his way out the door I decided to ask him about my 2013 Toshiba i7 running so slow he said he would bring it along and take a look at mine too. I am a graduate student so everything in my life resides on my laptop. These guys recently came through for me in a pinch. My desktop PC that I use to work from home, suddenly stopped working. I called in, gave a quick rundown and the initial diagnosis was that the power supply needed to be replaced. It started with a quotation inquiry through the yelp app because I do need a service to recover the data from my dead laptop, he said they need additional information so they can give their quotation right. I called their phone number right away to give the additional information they need, and he quoted me with $50, I am pretty sure that is what I heard. I asked him what time are they going to be available the next day, and he said they are available anytime. He said they do home service, so I asked if I can just drop the laptop instead to their store or place if that is ok, but he insisted that they can pick it up on my place then return it, so that sounded good to me because it is less hassle from my end. The morning after that phone call, I called them and told them that my laptop is ready to be picked up. One of his guys came in and picked up the laptop. Everything went smooth until the guy who picked up my laptop called and told me that he was able to recover the data and the total price is $100, which is not the same as the one we talked about the night before. I told him that I needed to call their office first and wanted to talk to the guy that I talked to. As soon as he pick up the call, I gently asked him about the price change but he sounded so irritated and he was raising his voice to me which is not a very good interaction for a customer. He said things like ~~ there is no way that I will give you that rate, there is no damn place on this earth where you can find that rate we gave you, we even went to pick up your laptop and return it, the gas alone is expensive, he said that it's a 4 hour gallon gas lol when they're only 20 mins away from our house and it's Saturday too, and he also told me that they needed to buy a $10 flash drive which is something I understand, I can pay for the flash drive but the service price change is what disappointed me. At this point, I realized that they got the upper hand because they have my laptop, and I also thought that he is not something that I will waste my time to argue with on the phone. The important part for me at this point is to get my laptop back. So we settled with $90, the tech guy came back and I overheard the guy talking to his boss on the phone before I even open the door, as soon as I open the door the guy is like "Oh yes I am actually with him right now, so shut up shut up" and he ended the call immediately, which kind of look like something fishy for me. I ignored that and he returned the laptop and flash drive. I paid him $100 to include a $10 tip, I'm still trying to be courteous here. And because I was so curious if he was telling me the truth, I went to the nearest tech store and inquired and told them the same scenario. Guess what, they said it should not be that hard, they easily took the hard drive from my old laptop which literally took 3 minutes for them, and they told me that I can just buy one of those external hard drive case so that it can just act like an external hard drive that my new laptop can read as if it's like a flash drive. They provided the labor for free and I just bought the external hard drive case for $40 from them (which is an acceptable price you can see on amazon etc ), I did that because I just wanted to save the hard drive from my old laptop, and so I can also use it as an external hard drive too. It is literally a 10-minute transaction! So to sum it up: First, I did not like how he raised his voice to me as if he is intimidating me and that is a big red flag for me. Second, he made it sound like as if it is a very hard thing to do which is in fact is not. My takeaway from this is that I should have had him texted me the final price so I have some sort of evidence of our agreement because it is very easy for someone to twist what they said. I am pretty sure I heard $50, because I would not even take risk entrusting my laptop to them if I am planning to pull off something like this at the end. I would understand if he said $50 for the labor, then probably additional fees for gas if it does involve pick up and delivery, but the thing is he never mentioned anything about those, so for a regular person like me I will assume that $50 is the final rate itself. And to be honest, if he just explained it to me calmly and carefully, I will not even write this bad review, and we could have parted ways peacefully. Too bad that's not the case. I think this is the very first time I wrote a review in Yelp, because I had a really bad experience. Also, you can check their BBB rating which is a B-, and it also says there that they are not BBB accredited. You will also see bad reviews and complaints on that website. He does not accept criticism and he makes it show like you are the one lying. I trusted the 5 star rating on Yelp too! But be aware of the 1 stars too, I just hope this will not happen again on any future customer. read more

One of the worst experiences in my life. Not only did they make me purchase a piece for my computer, (which they would have to know the specs for it) Cesar then came to the house to repair my computer only to say (i don't want too because I'm scared to damage it) The entire time he is also YouTubing how to do it btw and on the phone talking to other people. After wasting an hour and putting it back together, He spends another 30 minutes trying to get the system back to its original which he can not do. so he skipped the process somehow and got me back onto my desktop and leaves very rudely. a few hours later when my computer updates and resets, I get the same warning sign he couldn't get past earlier and now he said it's my operating system and he's not liable.
