Decided to try, overall glad we did, will try again.. Located in a mini-mart style spot in Del Ray area. Parking definitely could be tight as we were there early afternoon and it was 1/2 full and not easy to maneuver in a larger SUV. The Staff were super friendly, and helpful. Menu is pretty easy to read, has combo options and price is pretty nice for the area. We went with (4) piece Chicken Combo which came with potatoe wedges (no drink). Wife said under $12 (she paid). No dining area so sampled potoatoe wedges in the car, they were so good, wife went back in and ordered more wedges. The Wedges were that good, not sure why, but they were. Wife likes them crisper so air fried some at home. I loved them from the start & with additional air-frying. The Chicken was juicy and nicely fried, not the best I ever had, but pretty damn good. Please don't believe the 'hype' that is surrounding this place for having 'the best fried chicken and wedges' in the NoVA area, because it's just not true. If you came here by falling for the so-called influencer videos or reels, please don't waste your time or money - while the chicken that we had ordered was supposedly 'made fresh', it was bland, dry, and was fried in very old oil. This gave it a very off-putting taste and odor to it, along with the wedges, that could have been more seasoned and cooked a bit longer. Super disappointing! The staff here are super friendly and kind, which is a total plus, and their mart had various random items, from marshmallows to auto products. This spot does have some good fried chicken it has a homemade type of taste. The potato wedges are decent but nothing to write homemade about. The customer service was absolutely outstanding. I also like the fact that they were cooking everything right at the time I was ordering not sure if the do that all the time but if you are in the area check there chicken out. I saw a TikTok about this place and legit hopped in my car to go immediately. I was not disappointed. While they seem to be known for their chicken and potato wedges (both decent), the real stars are the fajita beef and regular chicharron. No mistakes were made on my part when I remembered the social media post about 24 EFS and decided to stop by to see for myself. I was caught a little off guard by the look of the establishment. Nothing fancy about the location. It gives bodega vibes. If you are looking for a white glove dining experience, this may not be the place for you. LOL! I ordered a three piece with wedges. They threw in two containers of the green sauce. Let's just say I will be back. The chicken was super hot (temp), moist, meaty and tasty. I will definitely be visiting 24 EFS again! Because the chicken was good, I may even try some of the other goodies. Since I didn't make it pass the hot bar/section, which is right at the door, I can't say much about anything else in the store. Had to stop by 24 express because they have the best potato wedges around. It's been in the community ever since I was a kid. In the section of Alexandria we call Chirilagua. Nice little small convenience store that has a little fast food counter with latin or Hispanic food specialties and a food comfort favorite fried chicken. I didn't get any today. I got the best hand down potato wedges in the world. They are lightly coated and fried to almost buttery perfection. Whenever I'm on that side of town I get them. We used to live near this store and I was so happy to see its now been added to Uber Eats. The fried chicken,wedge fries,pupusas,tamales,fajitas,plantains,and taquitos are always freshly prepared and delicious. The horchata is the best I've had in the entire DMV and I always make sure to order at least 2-3 of them because I REALLY love it. Additionally the people that run this place are always helpful, friendly and very nice. Yo this place is pretty legit. I walked in and at it first I didn't see anything in the store, it looked just a c-store. then I looked behind the counter and I saw the fried chicken and got excited. The chicken is really some of the best I had but I wouldn't say I haven't had better. The fries were really good and you can tell they were made on the spot.
