The first time I was made aware of the leak, I was out of town and was forced to arrange restoration from Chicago. Matt and his whole team were amazing through this process and were even more communicative through phone and text messages so I would not have to worry, and calling me and letting me know timeframes they would arrive. The second time I was home and got to meet the whole team and they were awesome! With the 2nd leak, which was a neighbor refusing to cover the damages, they were super patient with payment, looping my litigation team in, and providing competitive pricing. The final project we scheduled was a complete carpet removal and replacement of our second story. After months of calls, emails, and excuses, we have received zero communication from the company. First update: I'm giving them 2 stars to start as I am using them for demolition / water restoration and reconstruction. Demolition went great! Guys were awesome, diligent and took very good care of my problem and home. If I would have used them only for demolition and water treatment this would have been 5 stars all day long. Unfortunately, I used them for reconstruction too. Reconstruction has been less than favorable. The guys they hired did a great job on the drywall and even asked why grout wasn't included in the work order which was executed on 9/25. I messaged Daniel about the grout on 9/25 and never received a response. On 10/10 I get a message that they are coming to do my grout. Upon completion the grout was a completely different color than the rest of my home (and they couldn't match the baseboards to the rest of the house either). The took my cabinets on 9/13 and finally came to install on 10/11 arrival time between 730 and 8am. They finally arrived around 11. Prior to 1pm I went out to check on progress and ask a few questions and the guys were gone. My cabinets and surrounding area were filthy, colors didn't match, there were giant gaps and shortcuts clearly taken (pieces of wood stuck between the cabinets and countertop and cabinets and base), pieces not reattached for dishwasher button, etc. cut out pieces of baseboards and just left them that way and no holes drilled for dishwasher installation. 24 hour was fairly responsive and said they were going to get it fixed. It is now 10/17 and I can't get a return call, response to texts or in contact with anyone through the general #. Again, I would highly recommend Justin and the demolition team but I would highly recommend against using them for reconstruction. If they blow my mind and something changes quickly I may consider changing this rating. read more

I made an urgent request for service because we came home from vacation and discovered one side of our basement was flooded due to a toilet tank cracked. 24 Hour Flood Pros responded promptly on Sunday and arrived within 2 hours. We had equipment to start the vacuuming and drying process. Late review. I had a leak from the r/o in April, had a plumber come out and that's when 24 was recommended. However, before I was able to even call them after the plumber left, they had reached out first. I spoke to Bridgette who let me know they would come out and come take a look at the damages. Less than two hours later they were at my house. I didn't receive great news by letting me know the extent of the damage and what they would have to do, but I let them do their job since they are the experts. Being a first time homeowner I never had to file a home claim, but they walked me through it. They pretty much handled the process after I filed the claim. They met the adjuster days later and were able to move the process along. They were careful, taped areas up and overall did a fantastic job. read more
