This is a long overdue review for ATH! They handled two major home projects for us in 2025 in a midcentury modern condo. This review is for the first one, a bedroom ceiling/roof leak that needed mold mitigation, asbestos testing and renovation. March 2025: Leak originally started as a moisture spot on the ceiling in October 2024 but my HOA ignored it. By March 2025, the ceiling had become so compromised that water streamed in like a waterfall during a massive storm. My original contact was Noah - he gave me an estimate (along with two other companies). I really appreciated how Noah was communicative, informative and thorough. And! he didn't badger me w/ phone calls & emails, like the other two companies did. He understood that I said I would take care of the situation when I could b/c I was in the middle of Massage Therapy school. I understood the "risks" of having mold & just shut the bedroom off. Fast forward to August 2025 & now we're ready to take care of the situation. Noah followed protocol of getting an asbestos test first. Luckily, it was negative. Then Spencer, their Mitigation Specialist? built a special containment room, inside the guest bedroom that sealed off the contaminated area. Heavy duty fans stayed on for about 72 hours? so the area could be thoroughly dried after being treated w/ some kind of mold treatment. Noah was available via text when I had questions - that was surprising & super helpful! Once Mitigation was completed, Noah connected me w/ Jacob at their Restoration Department. He sent over a stellar crew led by David & they proceeded to rebuild about a quarter of the bedroom - meant to mention that they had to rip out dry wall, scaffolding, etc. This crew rebuilt and then refinished the area, including re-installing wainscotting and painting the ceiling + walls. The results? This bedroom looks gorgeous! We were thrilled with how thorough/smooth ATH was w/ this process & how the renovation turned out. Poor workmanship, poor company. They do not stand behind their work. No shower pan should leak ever, especially not 3 years later. I gave them every opportunity to make it right and they still refused to fix our problem. I would not trust a company who doesn't guarantee work and is difficult to work with. Poor quality and dishonest. This company "fixed" our shower pan a little over three years ago. They somehow thought it was appropriate to lay new tile through the whole bathroom...which was unneeded and cost us extra money from our pocket beyond insurance money. Fast forward three years and the same shower is leaking again. They tried to tell me it was the seal to shed the blame. I investigated and took me two seconds to realize it was not. After another company came out and determined it was the pan Az total home came back out and determined that it was indeed the pan. Upon acknowledging that the pan was the problem (the problem they should have fixed) I figured they would do the right thing. I gave them many chances to make it right and even offered to pay for material if they provided the labor for cheap/free. They denied and quoted me $8000 for a shower they messed up. We had a flood from our upstairs neighbor who called AZ Total Home Restoration and sent them to our home to remediate water damage. They put up plastic and tore out about 200sf of drywall and a 4 foot x 6 foot piece of our patio lid looking for the leak. The process of locating this leak lasted nearly a month. To locate the leak. When it was determined that the leak was above our patio 20 feet in the air they determined it was beyond their scope and told us to find another company to do the repairs. They then sent us a bill, more than half of which was invented costs. We chased them down for a month to do a job that they abandoned and then sent a bill for more than triple what it should have cost. These guys are common criminals and their business shouldn't even be a last resort. read more

We had used y'all before with a project manager named Aaron Hamman. We was wonderful and the guys he had doing the work were very respectful. Most recently we had another leak from the shower. Called and requested Aaron and found out he was let go and no longer there. We are so disappointed he was so professional and kind. Honest and reliable. I was so disappointed we chose to go with another company. I had a flood in my house a few months ago back in July and they were prompt in responding to the call. However, when they sent a specific employee there, it took them over 3 weeks to finish the job. The owner is a very nice guy, but he need to find other employees to help him do the job I would not recommend this company until they find different employees. We had a water leak in our home and we called this company to come out and inspect our home. We had excessive water travel from our laundry room into our living room and our kitchen. My wife sucked up the water as quickly as she could after a friend brought a carpet cleaner over to our house on the day of the flood. My wife spoke with Nathan and he scheduled Tony to come to our home and inspect our walls, tile and carpet in our home. He had a device that could locate mold and moisture damage. In his professional assessment, we did not have any mold damage from the flood other than the baseboards popping off the wall. Tony's recommendation was that we should hire a painter to firmly adhere the baseboards back onto the walls, caulk and paint them. It's comforting to know that we were not upsold on non existent mold issues that could have cost us thousands of dollars. We found this company to be very professional and they arrived on time. The company we had called prior to Arizona Total Home Restoration never showed up for the scheduled appointment time. We highly recommend Arizona Total Home Restoration. Stop! Don't go with any other company call these guys at Arizona Total Home Restoration up as soon as you can. The Workmanship was and is flawless. From the Electrician to the cabinet guys, the floor guys, painters, even the men that came by to adjust anything that they saw that was not perfect in their eyes. Aaron Hamman is that man. I can't say enough good things about him. Aaron is the project manager. I thought I was the only customer he had. It wasn't until later on I found out they had multiple jobs going on at the same time. Aaron is the ringmaster not of a three ring circus but probably a 10 ring circus. But he never made me think that I was the 10th ring. I always thought I was the only ring. He always made sure that everything was perfect. He cares About everything that has to do with the job. I found out later his family as well. He's polite, articulate, informative, and always on time. I can't say enough good things about Aaron. When you are in charge of all these men that are working at multiple locations and the customer, me, is not even aware of it. That is amazing! Hard-working, responsible, respectful, intelligent about the job, never pointing fingers, but accepting the responsibility of any problems, and great quality in every aspect. AZ Total Home Restoration was a Godsend for us when we discovered we had a water leak in our new home. We felt so lucky that Nathan's team was able to arrive the next day to demo the area and got to the source of the leak. We were able to get a plumber to fix it, insurance covered it all and the re-build crew came out to put it all back together. This review is way too over due. We had a leak that had caused water damage under our kitchen sink back in May. The plumber had recommended calling out a restoration person and had actually put in a referral. I was impatient and found ATH on yelp, and within a half hour they were at my house assessing the damages. This was by far the best decision I made during the process. Nathan and his team were incredibly helpful and professional. They were wonderful at communicating with me about their entire process. They even came and met with the insurance adjuster and showed him pictures of the damages. I literally heard the adjuster say at one photo, "Oh that's great, that will help me get them more back."
