I hired 24 Moving last week and could not be more pleased. They only charge me 85@hour for 2 men & the truck. Their competitors who charge $180@hour cautioned me insinuating I will get what I pay for. They could not be more wrong! It went 1 hour overtime & I paid an additional $85. No hidden fees etc. I could not recommend 24 Moving more highly. They are an upfront honest company that does not play games like many others in the moving industry do. read more

Although I read positive reviews I can only share my own experience with this company, God is my witness. I was given a fair price by Owner Linda. I provided all my items sent photos and was sent what I was to expect like every paying customer. The day of move I was given the time as I lived in an Assisted Living facility, older handicapped man and just 1 room. The movers arrived later than promised, they looked worried as I learned they had a few more jobs and it was raining.The owner kept interrupting them to rush my move and as a result my furniture was handled poorly. I learned after my belongings were dropped off to my new facility, furniture was left behind, my leather recliner was left outside truck and ruined, plus my valuable glass living room table was missing. A whole box of my fragile items ( labeled) was broken and soaked from rain. I was told only pay by zelle which I did at time thinking all was fine. It wasnt till next morning my nurse and I had learned about the problems that I mentioned above. The owner said that she gave me a really good price and because the movers were busy I had to wait for missing items a dining table 2 chairs couldn't be gathered. She had no answer for the other issues. I wasnt offered any resolution. I contacted a lawyer. She then as an excuse said I will have to fill out a claim form after waiting a week without any fair offering. I still have not had any resolution. She last wrote we were both just going nowhere with our endless communications. I contacted BBB, Florida commercial business affairs and my lawyer is preparing his case while my bank investiges the money transaction with zelle. They charged by the hour, showed up almost an hour late but the hired help have never been movers. the boss watches mostly and they damaged $2,000 worth of my stuff and refuse to send it into insurance, been waiting for them to get back to me for now 3 months on the damage. They tried to take off without putting my bed together correctly and with 15 extra bolts left over. if you have nice stuff, do not trust them to move it properly.. and if they damage it.. expect them to ignore you and not pay to fix!! please do yourself a favor and do not use them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Linda and her team are, in the most direct and honest terms, thieves. They quoted me $130 per hour for a total of 3 hours--$390. They confirmed they would arrive promptly at 9:00 a.m. at my building in Brickell. Instead, they arrived 40 minutes late, did not begin moving until 10:00 a.m., and then proceeded to take multiple extended breaks--both upstairs inside my apartment and downstairs in the loading dock--all of which are verifiable on building camera footage. It was clear they were intentionally milking the clock. When they arrived at my storage unit around 2:00 p.m., they suddenly demanded $910 (see screenshot). I was explicitly told by Linda that if additional hours were needed, I would be notified before they continued working. That never happened. Instead, she simply messaged me demanding that I Zelle her $910. When I called her for clarification, she went from the friendly salesperson I initially spoke with to someone rude, aggressive, and clearly intent on taking advantage of the situation--especially since I was not physically present. To pressure me into paying the additional $520, they attempted to hold my belongings. They said they would keep two brand-new TVs (65" and 42") until I sent the money. Minutes later, a friend who was assisting with the move told me that Eduardo Arminana, one of the movers, began searching for other items to hold as leverage. He took four expensive paintings and placed them in the cab of their truck. When my female friend tried to intervene, Eduardo physically pushed her, and continued working. Inside the storage unit, they recklessly stacked and shoved items, damaging multiple belongings. They then opened boxes and suitcases and began going through my personal property. A man who did not appear to work for the company arrived and assisted them in removing several boxes of expensive clothing: full suits, blazers, dress shirts, leather jackets, a brand-new Nespresso Vertuo machine, an empty Rolex box, and other personal items--plus an entire suitcase full of clothes. Immediately after this, I called Linda, Eduardo, and the company (24 Moving). None of them answered. Now, when I call, the calls go straight to voicemail, strongly suggesting that I have been blocked. Other reviews online describe similar scams, so this is clearly not an isolated incident. Although some customers may have had normal experiences, it is obvious that this company targets clients when they see vulnerability--in my case, the fact that I live in a high-end building, had valuable belongings, and was not physically present. This was pure theft and fraud. I had the best experience with this moving company. From the first point of contact with Linda and meeting my needs. I had an emergency and had to move in 24 hours and she found a way to take care of getting someone out and in a timely matter. The movers were on time and very efficient. They had a huge truck and were very good with finding my location *which can be hard. The price was also great. I highly recommend and I will be using them again in the near future! I had 2 moves with this company. 1st move was to move household into storage. I had a team of 2, Julio was the lead. They wrapped the furniture and cover all glass with cardboard and tape. They did and excellent job. I contacted the company and requested the same 2 plus 2 more to move from the storage to the new house. I specifically requested Julio and the other guy during several calls (at least 4 if not more). I was told every time my request was on the notes and it was taken car off. The day before during my 3 confirmation calls, I again mentioned that I had requested Julio with the 3 others because he knew how everything was placed in the warehouse. Once again I was told Julio, the guy that came with him the previous week and 2 more would be handling the move. When they arrived, Julio and the other guy were not part of the crew. 2 of them starting signaling each other to take it slow because there were a lot of boxes to be moved... When the dropped off my furniture and boxes they were very careless in accommodating the items in the garage. Some items were just thrown on top of other items. After they left and we started to move furniture around we noticed a big scratch on top of the center of the dinning room table. Scratches on a bedroom dresser, corner chipped, as well as other items that were handled or thrown carelessly and broke. If you have only boxes with not valuable items, you can save some money and use this company. But if you have valuable items do yourself a favor and look for some one else. I also think it was unethical for them to deceive me in telling me they were sending the crew I had requested on multiple occasions. I will never use this company again. read more

This has literally been the worst experience of my life ever moving. Granted moving is never fun, I received horrible service, the owner herself was rude, I was charged for two days of moving! After the movers were over an hour and a half late and didn't even make it to my building in time nor pack all of my things that were supposed to be being moved from my unit. I've never been more disgusted with a company. I literally had to leave tens of thousands of dollars of my belongings with these people over night because of them being late, reschedule an elevator (paying an additional fee), Miss work two days in a row, watch them move at snails speed and waste my time, money and patience. BUYER BEWARE. KEEP YOUR OWN MONEY. A MOVE THAT SHOULD HAVE COST ME $396 ended up costing over $700. Oh. That's my $3500 mattress just thrown slumped and deformed on the floor. Btw I've only seen one mover. UPDATE: We are now at $820 and it is all my fault. If you haven't filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and have had to deal with the same sick disgusting behavior of those people, I suggest you do so. Their fees are lower than any other moving company in the area, their quotes are transparent and accurate, and their guys are so accommodating and nice. Don't! I spoke with this company and was very specific about my move (requiring two men given the job and budget restraints) 3 were sent. Given the requirements I needed no more than 2 men and then the "quote" didn't add up to what was asked when the move was taking place. Let me also be very specific that this due completely to "THE BOSS" and not the moving men. The moving men were very respectful and I had no problem with them on their own. Zero stars isn't an option, but it's worth it. I'll preface the review by saying this is the company's fault, not so much the guys that came out. They worked a 14+ hour day. Yep, the company did that to their workers. They were 8 hours late. That's correct, 8 hours. We are moving to a condo, where they have strict building guidelines for when you can move. They started working on when that window closed. Their only offer to compensate was 10%, which doesn't cover the fines we'll be charged for violating our condo contract. Also, we inconvenience the entire building (and its single elevator) on our first day. Thanks, 24 Moving! Let's just start by saying that every step of this move has been amazing!! I had called in and spoke with Jeremy on the phone about quotes, I was still indecisive about who I was going to get to move us, he sold me with his outstanding customer service and communication!!! He was very polite and respectful with all of my needs and very helpful to get me exactly what I needed in a timely fashion! They called me the day before to confirm, which is great since while moving things can be hectic.. Then also the day of when the movers were on their way. The movers showed up, I believe his name was Oscar, had explained everything to me of how things were going to go, what was included with my package, and even had plenty of supplies if I needed anything else to make it go smoothly. We filled out the paperwork, and then started. These guys didn't waste anytime, which I was very grateful since with any moving company "time is money!" They put everything in the truck with care and organization, wrapped my couches and all glass china cabinet with blankets and tape! I felt very comfortable and happy I was with such a great team of movers! After they finished at my old house, it was off to the new house! When they arrived, it was the same concept... Move fast and efficiently!!! Everything was placed in the new house exactly the way I had it before it left! I just wanted to take the time to let others know that I completely recommend this company and their great team!!! The movers came and wanted me to sign a blank contract without a price and had lines filled out for fees that they could net explain. They got mad when I would not sign anything with blank spaces that they could populate any amounts they want. They said I was difficult and left my house and left me with no movers when I had to be out that day. Omg, this is super unprofessional and on top of all they are huge liars! I was moving to Avesta Apartments. We got one estimate and in the beginning they charged us 5 times more. They broke my mirror and other stuff. They lost some of the stuff as well, which is ridiculous! We called the cops on that, those 2 guys, Pedro or whoever this man guy is didn't know what to say and couldn't answer logical questions which we and cops asked. Your so called $90 discount was for the stretch wrap that we sat there for 40 minutes waiting for someone to bring after they scratched the shit out of my sofa to prevent any further damage. I wish I had looked at the reviews prior to using this place. This is the most horrible, unprofessional, disgusting, sloppy, misrepresented, lack of caring, money hungry service lacking company ever. My move was the worst. They were to pack my belongings, dissemble and reassemble, break down and set up, and do it all in the 1 day I requested. These guys stopped and said they were tired. Didn't set up my beds because they left parts at the old residence and claim they lost some screws. We had to check in to a hotel because my 6 year old needed to sleep for school. I called for a manager or owner 99 times and to date no call back. They damaged my property, left boxes and trash all over my home, ate food out of my refrigerator without permission, and to top it all off, we have killed 5 roaches in my new home which they brought from their filthy nasty trucks. We never had roaches, the previous owners never had roaches, this company is disgusting. I had Termjnex and Truly Nolen come out to inspect the home and both companies said there is no trace of roaches ever being in the property and my inspection report that I had prior to closing also indicated no pest sightings or infestation. These nasty people brought roaches into my home from their filthy trucks. I will not so much blame the workers because they told me they worked 4 jobs before coming to me. That's way too much. However they obviously need the money. The workers want to get it over with but they lack care and professionalism. I'm sorry they have to be subjected to this kind of work because they seem like kind guys overall. I totally blame the owner/management for all the mess and the negative reviews. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. I scheduled a move with this company on june 2020. Everything seemed to go ok even though they take their time to do things since they get paid hourly(mind you I paid extra for another person and they still took their time)and everything was packed,they only had to move it.The only thing I asked from them when they moved everything was to be careful with my NEW $4000 refrigerator.So when they get to the new house they had to remove the front door to get fridge in but they didnt remove a metal locking device that was on the door frame so they forced the fridge in and put two dents on the front of my new fridge. Shortly after they left I noticed the damage and called Cody at 24 moving at told him what happened. He told me not to worry got my info and said he would notify someone named Linda that would send me a claim form which is paid for with the move. Long story short they answer my calls and tell me Linda will send me the form via email. I have called multiple times throughout the months following and they keep giving me the same story that she will send the form. It seems they have purposely dragged this along so time runs out and I cant do anything.These people are unprofessional and scammers and have been giving me the run around for something that should be covered by the insurance you initially pay for when you hire them. I recommend looking elsewhere for movers,these people are the worst. Now im stuck with a new damaged fridge and I dont know who to contact for help. UPDATE: So they got back to me with a response about why they are not going to compensate me for my damages. They claim I signed a form when they leave your house stating everything is ok...which I did sign outside of the the house while they hurried and rushed me to sign so they can leave. When I got to putting the handles on the fridge shortly after they left I immediately called and was told to file the insurance claim and they would solve the problem. These people are foreign scammers and are the worst. They probably have bogus credentials as well hence they gave me a BS story to not cover the damage they did which is supposed to be insured. I used 24 Moving when I relocated from Florida to Washington. I found them by searching online. I had a great experience and the movers were professional and courteous. My things arrived on time and were not broken or scuffed. I was moving an apartment worth of things, so luckily I didn't have too much to worry about! I have used 24 Moving twice for local moves and both times went great. They are professional, prompt, and fast. Price was good and well worth it. They wrapped all of my furniture, and they were careful. Laszlo and Gabor did my most recent move, and they were excellent. Regarding negative reviews: I see some negative reviews on yelp. Some of these complaints sound like they come from people who haven't used movers before. You have to have realistic expectations (I've used many companies) - movers are more rough with your stuff than you would be, they charge you for packing supplies, and things can break. If you can't accept these risks--you're not going to be happy with any movers. Do it yourself! But among movers, these guys are professional, clean, and efficient. Nice things: 1) they speak English. It's helpful. My Spanish is ok, but it was easier to avoid miscommunication. 2) no surprise charges. They review everything at the start before the move. I've heard horror stories... 3) ok sounds dumb, but movers get sweaty moving your heavy stuff. Can't avoid it. The guys changed to fresh shirts after moving out but before moving in. The day of the move. They were supposed to be here at 10 am. By 1015 I'm just able to get ahold of them and they tell me they won't be here till 11am when the elevator in my building is only reserved till 12 am. They are acting completely nonchalant and are completely unapologetic for messing up my entire move. They keep trying to talk to me like I'm absurd for being upset they decided to be an hour late on moving day. I'm sure this is a sign of how negligent they would be of my items so I'm canceling the entire move and going to have to look for another company last min. Save yourself the hassle. My move went very well.  I believe the price was fair and the time frame allotted for the move was acceptable.  It was a slight big stressful that it ended up taking place 2 1/2 hours earlier than expected because I wasn't entirely prepared with all my furniture disassembly as I had planned to be.  However Dan and Tristan were very patient and worked very quickly with/for me so it all worked out no problem.  I will say that Tristan was very understanding and accommodating.  Dan was particularly kind to me and his manner very comforting, as this entire move has been very stressful and I was having a very hard time keeping myself together.   I did not expect such kindness from two total strangers who were taking over a task that had nearly destroyed my soul and will to live!   I found them to both be far more polite and professional than I expected any movers to be. I hope that my gratuity to them was adequate,  because they were so awesome that I would request them for future move if I decide to stay in Florida.  They were great. read more

My wife scheduled a move with Cody, a couple of days after accepting quote we contacted him to notify we had not received confirmation. He said they emailed. After 6 calls with him guaranteeing it was confirmed on the day of the move we were called and notified Cody had used another quote for a different customer that had my same first name. We had to get a different company to do the work. Advise to Cody, next time listen to your customers and dig a little deeper. read more

WORSE THAN HORRIBLE. 2 BEDS, 1 SOFA, 1 COFFEE TABLE, 4 CHAIRS, took more than 3 hours. pick up location and drop of location was within 6 miles. They could not take the dining table cause they "did NOT have tools"... Oh but they did have the tools for a fee... (btw the "tools" was a screw driver). One of them was wearing a suit.... and he was CONSTANTLY taking breaks. guys were rude and SLOW, trying to get more and more time paid. Absolute worst moving experience ever. Company gives you a window of when they will come and says they will call 30 mins to an hour before coming but doesn't call when they are running late. So you sit around waiting for them to arrive and have no idea that your window is non existent. I called them all afternoon and they kept bidding for time saying that someone would call and no one ever did. When they finally arrived it was 4 hours after the window they gave me was over and the job wasn't finished because they came so late. The movers look miserable because they are on overtime and the company doesn't care and just keeps repeating the same useless line over and over again. I called and booked them for a move from studio to studio a month ahead of time and set it for 12pm. I scheduled 2 moves but only cancelled ONE! I called the morning of the move because no one confirmed with me like all the emails said they would. When I called Cody says they will be there between 12-2 and will call you ahead of time. It's now 6pm and no phone call from them at all!!! Very unreliable!!!! The worst service ever, they arrived 2 hours later, took 2 days for 1 bedroom apartment move, 8 medium boxes and 3 small ones, everything was packaged before they arrive, and they took 2 days for complete the move, Cody was spike educated at first before I hired the company but after that he and the rest of the team were very unpolite uneducated, they left my sofa in the parking of the building because they need to live and didn't finish (after 2 days they didn't finish). They ruined my bed, and took a box with water that never get to my new home. Really DON'T hire this company. First I spend hours of waiting they were scheduled to come from 9am to 12 and they only arrived at 6pm and I had to call the company every hour to ask for updates, they were promising to call me back to let me know and they never did so I had to keep calling. Eventually when they came they said if I want them to move within 2 hours I had to hire the 3rd guy. (I had to move couple blocks down 5 mins away and I had couple pieces of furniture 2 boxes and the cat tower. They told me I had to pay additional around $65 for TV and $65 for each additional glass piece..... PS they moved everything within an hour read more

This moving service in the biggest nightmare. They broke my entire glass furniture and left disgusting black marks of there dirty hands all over each thing! my sofa and chair are covered with their sweat marks and black markings. I later had to pay the WHOLE COST of moving into fixing the glass furniture they broke of mine! so basically I had to pay them and another service to fix the damage they created. Not happy with this moving company at all. I had them move my furniture into my new place that was already partly occupied and had some of my things already moved in. I had 3 pair of 3D sunglasses in boxes on top of my countertop when they got here. When they left, there were only 2. I called the company several times in the past few days, only for Edward to tell me it was reported to dispatch and that dispatch would get back to me. I haven't heard from anyone at the company. I wouldn't hire them again since they don't seem trustworthy and don't care to resolve any issues with dissatisfied clients. I only gave them 1-star or else I wouldn't be able to post. read more

I was quoted a base rate of $300, which included use of standard supplies like moving blankets, etc. Bubble wrap & boxes would be extra, but I only needed furniture moved. Well, these guys used HUGE boxes, cut open, wrapped around & then taped to protect ALL of my furniture (which @ the time, I appreciated thinking they were just being careful) ... then, I get charged an additional $430 for supplies !!!! I WAS STUNNED & IN SHOCK, THEY ALREADY HAD MY CREDIT CARD INFO, PLUS HAD ME SIGN ALL THESE RELEASES BEFOREHAND ... I figured any add'l supplies (bubble wrap, tape, etc.) might be an extra $20-$30, BUT $430 !?!?!?!?!?!?! DO NOT USE THEM. This is the worst worst company ever. We were scheduled to move between 2 to 4 pm. It was 7 pm and they NEVER showed up.!! We called numerous times and we finally were told, Let's schedule this again tomorrow !! They are unprofessional and the customer service representative Jeremy is a scam. He seem very polite at the beginning to get your credit card info but on the day of the move he never answered the phone and finally when someone else did he wanted to reschedule the move for next day without apologizing This company is a joke.
