I hired these guys for a move that needed to take place in 2 days. Was glad to hear they were able to do it. There communication over the phone is very good. I received a confirmation email about them coming. The problem arises when they NEVER SHOWED UP. That's right, they were supposed to come by 5 PM and after calling every hour to see where they were ( I called up through 9:30 PM) they never showed up. So unprofessional. They didn't offer to come in the morning or do anything about it. Do your self a favor and save yourself a headache and pay more for reliability. I ended up hiring my own guys at 10:30 PM at night and doing all the moving my self. Didn't sleep till 4AM. I had to be out that day. If I only knew.. I would have picked another company for sure. Never again will I call them. They aren't reliable! When I called corporate to see where the guys were at 9PM, they couldn't get in touch with there movers. WTF! Hire these people at your own risk. I called to see what was going on (since they were supposed to be there hours ago) and i was repeatedly told to "we are confirming their location and you will here from us in 15 minutes after we confirm." it is one thing to be six hours late or to be non responsive to my daughters many inquiries concerning the movers location etc. However to FLAT OUT LIE TO HER OVER AND OVER IS UNACCEPTABLE. She was told the movers were an hour a way one minute, then the next she was told they were still on another job. They even claimed the movers had gotten in an accident, when they arrived she asked was everything okay with the accident and they clearly didn't know what she was talking about. Spare yourself the headache and incompetency...after 6 hours we had to cancel and were able to come to an agreement in regards to removing the cancellation fee. do not get shim-shammed by this company. read more

NEVER show up on time, my schedule time was between 12-2pm they showed at 5:15pm, of course tired from previous jobs and whinnying about my move. They were unable to finish my move and had to return next day, oh of course impossible to get through the phone and or the dispatcher as Glenn said "was nothing he could do", well they charge me $590 something the first day and because they were unable to keep my schedule time they charged me almost the same the second day, my move costed over $1100. Nice trick on their end to make money. Was a TWO bedroom apartment and took them hours to load the truck and minutes to unload. Alberto was amazing. Him and his coworker were very polite and friendly. He had a good attitude despite having to move my heavy couches up and down three floors. They also wrapped the more fragile items and came ready with all the materials necessary for the move. So let me tell you about this company and there very questionable practices. When you call up a representative will ask for a detailed list of what will be moving and where it will be taken. Based off of this (and this is a timely process) they give what they will tell you is a solid quote. For a ONE BEDROOM move I was quoted for no more than 4 hours. This was verified various times by various individuals. When the two workers came to move my things they seemed to be breathing and in relatively good shape so it caught me by surprise that my 4 hour move would turn into a 8 hour. They literally did not work unless we were there and eventually we needed to help out just to get things moving. Your better off finding a company that guarantees their time. These guys will milk the time and they didn't start moving faster until we called and explained we would only pay for one more hour so they needed to hurry. This is a scam. They are crooks!!!! Do NOT use this company. They are beyond INCOMPETENT. They had me wait all afternoon for them and never showed up at the time they set up. They never called to say they would be late so I wasted time waiting. They did call an hour after the two hours appointment window to tell me that they were on the way and would be there in an hour. I didn't need them anymore and wound up rescheduling with one of their competitors who came the next day and did a fantastic job and they charged me half the price of what this one was charging. I used "24 Moving" on Sunday 8/07/16. They did a wonderful job and finished before the 3hr minimum. 24 moving was the best priced movers I found after calling around and there were no hidden fees. They sent 2 guys/1 truck and moved all of my items (I was prepacked) safely to my new place. The movers were super friendly and polite. Scheduling on short notice was easy and there was no deposit required. I will definitely be using them again for future moves. read more

I wish I read all the terrible yelp reviews before I hired this company. They clearly do all that they can to draw out the moving process and rack up fees with boxes and tape. I was charged $75.00 for a large box they didn't need to use. I was charged for other boxes as well but 75.00 for one box really takes the cake! $5.00 per tape roll and they do all that they can to use and excessive amount of tape. They sat for an hour outside my house cleaning the tape off their blankets while my stuff sat inside in pieces. I asked them what they are doing and they said they needed to be ready for the next move. I told them that I wanted my stuff assembled and I would clean the tape off their moving blankets myself. When I noticed they were inside taking forever to assemble the furniture they disassembled (most of it could have been transported without disassembling) I asked them to just leave. I ended up paying 4x the amount I should have for an incomplete move as my stuff was still in pieces scattered about the new house. Don't be fooled by their Low hourly rate, you will end up paying much more! Worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire life. read more

HUSTLERS. We used this company to move 14 miles. Our original quote was for $300 and the complete move should have taken less than 2 hours. When the guys arrived, they took their time and began disassembling items that did NOT need to be taken apart. I asked them to stop and they refused. The guys said they couldn't load any built furniture into the truck and that they could leave but my deposit would be kept since I was declining their service. Pressed for time I let it go. Yeah, well they went over the agreed 3 hours by an additional 4 hours. We ended up having to pay triple the amount the company quoted just to move 14 miles. Most of the items were clothes and these guys found ways to make everything take longer than it should. I wouldn't recommend them. Knowing what I know now, I would have rented a small truck moved all of it myself. All they do is look for ways to charge for additional time. Skip these guys. Not worth the headaches. read more

SAVE YOURSELF, USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY!!Hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It is true they scam you in the prices and basically any materials used, they charge extra. The movers were nice, but very slow and to top it all off, they stole money from me TWICE. There was cash taken from my apartment and the movers took a copy of my credit card information on the receipt and tried to use it. Luckily my bank cancelled the card and notified me or else the movers would have gotten more money. When I noticed the cash went missing during the move, I asked the movers and they denied taking and when I called the office, the woman on the phone was rude and threatened to keep my furniture on the truck if I didn't pay the movers immediately. I paid them to get ride of them and the next day I find out there is fraudulent activity on my credit card so I call the office and inform them of my findings and they said they would get back to me. It's been weeks and no one has helped. It's a shame this business is still operating and that they don't care that they are taking advantage of people during a time of need. read more

Having a first hand knowledge of how Moving Companies operate, I had a lot of prep work done beforehand. TVs, Picture Frames, mirrors bubble wrapped, and taped. It helped bring some of the labor time down. Plus having my own moving, packing supplies, helped as well. It did take more time than what I was quoted, but that's to be expected. Moving is a difficult thing but this company made it easy. The bldg i was leaving only had one elevator working and these guys worked their butts off. Then we got to my new place which was on the second floor with no elevators and i had a bigger then life armoir. No prob...even getting a jammed finger injured it wasnt a prob. I used 24 Moving last week as i could not extend my current lease, and my new lease did not start till 3 weeks later. I was traveling on holiday during this period but could not find anywhere to store my personal belongings. They were very efficient and came on time as promised, they moved all my boxes in less then 20 minutes as promised. I had mentioned i had a flight at noon, and could not afford any delays as my time was limited before heading to the airport that morning. I highly recommend them as they fulfilled every promise. They will deliver my items when i am back in January and i will have to move again as i recently purchased a place and will use them to move at that time as well. I also recommended them to my real estate agent if other clients of her's are every looking for movers to use 24 Moving. read more

Not even one star is deserved. Beware. Company gave us one price then offloaded half the truck. They then presented another much higher price for packing materials while holding the rest of our furniture hostage. The price for packing materials was exhorbent but there was nothing we could do so we paid it. We later complained via state agency and received a call offering a 200 dollar discount but only if we would sign a letter stating that we would not post our experience with the company online. We declined in the hopes that we can alert others to companies like this and others that use such practices. Beware of this and insist on a Flat fee that will not change. You get what you pay for. I got a confirmation call the day before my move for 11 AM. I was impressed by their scheduling service over the phone and their flexibility. However, the movers did not come until 4 PM on move in day. Normally this would not be a huge deal, but my new place had a lot of rules about moving in (including that I could not move in after 5 PM or on the weekends etc). The dispatcher was unhelpful over the phone and said that the movers would "arrive shortly" (and kept saying this when I called them multiple times during that 5 hour period). The movers themselves were fine. I just wish there was more transparency with the customer. The company offered no sympathy or solutions during this stressful situation. read more

Unbelievably great moving company. I was called twice to remind me of the arrival of the packers and then the movers ( same crew) one day after the other. The guys were amazingly competent, really nice, very understanding especially when they wrapped up our bed for storage and then when we told them we were sleeping on it that night, unwrapped it and put it together again. We recently changed our moving plans from traditional movers to 2 - 16 foot pods to store the contents of a large three bedroom home. We hired 24 Moving last minute. They assured me they would send four professional movers who were fast and efficient on a national holiday (Labor Day). The four man crew, led by Christin, arrived punctually and ready to work. They did not stop while shrink wrapping all of the furniture and loading 2 pods safely and tightly. They finished during the minimum time period, much to our surprise. We expected to pay quite a bit more. We plan to ask for the same crew when we unload the pods when we move into our new home in 2 months. Professional from my first call. Very unprofessional. I scheduled a time and date for them to come and move me. They gave me a time of between 1-3. They called the day before I was scheduled to move to confirm. They did call me later on the day before to see if I can change my time to earlier. I said I couldn't. The day of the move at 3 pm no movers no call to tell me when they were coming. So I called them and the guy told me they were running late but didn't know how late they running behind for me to basically wait for them. So I asked the guy could he find out when they would be here, that fool said around 6 or 7. That was unacceptable. He told me, you asked for a time and I gave you a time. Very very unprofessional.
