24 Restore came into my life immediately after a fire destroyed my home in 2017. They made my life so much worse and it is my deepest regret that I worked with them when the insurance company paired me with them for remediation and rebuild. I would rather my house burn down again than EVER deal with them. They took two years to rebuild my 1200sq ft home, and meanwhile I was homeless (after my insurance housing ran out after 6 months). They communicated poorly, used my funds for other purposes (the contractor was fired soon after), didn't finish the job, and then sued me when I refused to give them their last payment ($40k). I counter-sued, but they told me "You are a single woman and we are a big company with lawyers on retainer. We can play this game with you as long as you want and we will still win." I eventually had to settle to move on with my life. I have since paid other contractors to fix some of the work they did and I am forever traumatized by my experience with 24 Restore. I am even still finding pieces of glass in my backyard from their fire mitigation in 2017. STAY AWAY. I dream of the company stepping up and owning their mistakes and offering me reparations, but I won't clutch onto that dream too hard because I have witnessed zero integrity from them. Vultures, preying on people going through hard times. OH THE BEST PART?? During the six months when NO WORK was done on the rebuild of my house, they did not shut off the water lines to the city and my basement flooded with 5+ feet of water, destroying everything. read more

Would not recommend. It took me over 4 months to get a simple leak in my shower fixed. I was getting emails hounding for payment when the work itself was not even completed. They fixed the ceiling first and then the "leak" but didn't truly fix the leak so that required the ceiling to be re-done.... much like other reviews on here I would recommend finding another company. read more

I f I could put negative stars would be -5 My mom hired them to fix water damage in one 10 by 10 bedroom and a 4x6 hallway it's been 10 months and they're still not done with the job The general contractor has no pride or feels not responsible for his job... he's hired someone with no skills the amount of poor quality work is undeniable. The trash is still sitting there from the work theyve done uneven floors big head nails popping out from drywall seems of drywall not sanded miss matched thresholds a broken window and exposed drywall's still not finished this should have been a 3 week job the general contractor is not overseeing anything and asked my 80 yr old mother to basically do his job. This contractor doesn't care about his job at all and it shows up in every aspect. do your self a favor and find a better company that cares about their clients and their job read more

Do not ever recommend or use this company!! I had a flood before Christmas in a rental I own, they came fairly quickly and began the process of cleaning up water. But the next 2 weeks was minimal and they charged for travel time and more men then actuallly arrived and balooned the activity. Then charged for equipment that was never going to dry it out. I got back from holiday and fired them immediately. The new person I hired said what they were doing would never work! They sent a bill for 12k. I tried to fight the amount, they did come down a little but only after I hired an attorney to deal with them. The amount was still outrageous. read more

300 dishwasher repair with water never turned on. Pipe dis functional and motor burned out cost me $300 and dishwasher guy Paul was excellent and he's looking for a day job Chris's Hall so he doesn't have to work nights answering calls. read more

Scott Morse and Jimmy Lanciero took excellent care during a very difficult time. The crew was efficient and worked very hard. If I ever need the service again 24 restore is my choice. I am very unhappy that I was not told by 24 restore that I would have to pay over 1000 dollars for a dumpster. I was told by first realty managment that they would cover it so I never questioned it. Now first realty deny saying it. We need companies that are transparent and don't change their stories or deny what they said. This is my opinion and observations of both companies. read more

Worst "contractor " I've ever encountered. Had to hire others to fix everything they did (far too numerous to list here). Took more than a year to put my house back together after a frozen/burst water pipe. Michael Mullaly never kept his word and can never be trusted. Stay away from these thieves. read more

Their workers were in my neighborhood dumping contaminated sewage they pumped out of our basements into the yards where are children play. When confronted about this the workers smugly said that there was nothing wrong with the water even though they're clearly was as we have video and photo proof of such. We asked what they plan on doing with the contaminated water. They were caught dumping it illegally and the workers smoke we said he's going to drink it. Incredibly irresponsible. They almost collided with our car. Apparently the bike lane is just another car lane, we're just suckers for not using. I can't imagine how horrific their services are, but after seeing their disregard for safety, you should never do any business with these people. read more

I utilized this service for a mold remediation/restoration of my entire basement. The estimate was completed timely, however, trying to get a reply a couple of months later to start the work was nothing but a hassle. I felt like I was begging them to get this started. Then, once it was started there was almost no communication, consistent miscommunication and the project manager was the absolute least helpful. He stated he would bring me samples, never did. He said work would be done on a certain day, which it wasn't or someone wouldn't show up. When they did the mold remediation they ended up damaging my walls, which Bill luckily corrected for me. Bill, their contracted constructor was amazing. He was SUPER helpful and communicative which in the end saved them. The cherry on top of this painful scenario was that they were calling BEFORE the work was even done for final payment. When i mean calling, I mean calling NONSTOP, as well as, sending letters on top of the daily calls. I would NOT recommend you use them - go anywhere else but with them. read more

Definitely avoid them for ANY type of work. Our little condo association (12 units) hired them for roof snow removal back on February 2017. 24 Restore sub contracted the work, and billed us for 12 workers, 10 hours per day for two days, with ONE LIFT. And the work was done from that single lift. I don't know how they could have fitted 10 people on that lift but they claim that's what they did. And they refused to adjust the bill even with photo evidence that there were a maximum of 5 works on site. These kinds of shady business practices should not be encouraged. AVOID. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Had damage from one of the winter storms and they said they could remove the tree that day and do all the repair work. They just removed half the tree and said the rest was fine. The next day they called back and said they looked again and the rest of the tree would have to come down and since they had to go back it would be 3 times the original estimate. When I pushed back they said they were not interested in working with me anymore and would send a bill to the insurance company. The bill was twice what they quoted including $1,000 just to call the tree guy that did the work! Insurance company refused to pay that amount and insinuated they were ripping us off. Heath Coxall, at 24 Restore, was extremely rude and unprofessional. STAY AWAY, lots good people out there you can hire. read more

WORST COMPANY EVER!! STAY AWAY!!! They are a rip-off company with terrible management and sub-par workmanship. They are dishonest and deceptive and they prey on people during times of emergencies. After our finished basement flooded I called 24 Restore in Easton. They refused to come to the house to quote the job but after telling them what the job would entail, they quoted pricing at $2500, not to exceed $3200. We trusted that they were a legitimate company and hired them. Big mistake. They sent 2 men over who had me sign a contract which DID NOT DISCUSS THE SCOPE OF WORK OR THE COST OF THE JOB. I subsequently found out from the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs that their "contract" was in complete violation of Massachusetts consumer laws. After inadequately finishing less than 25 percent of the work on day one, I called 24 Restore and told them we were not happy with their work and to please send me a bill for the work they had performed. They sent me a bill for over $3200 (more than they quoted for the entire job) with no explanation of the supposed work performed or how they came to charge me for over the maximum of the quote for doing less than 25 percent of the work. They said the cost included fans and dehumidifiers which were never brought over. They also refused to ever provide an itemized invoice. The invoice was only one line that read 'for work performed'. After they refused my very generous offer to pay for the actual work that was done, we ended up going to court and of course they were admonished by the court and I paid for only the shoddy work that was actually done, and not all their inflated and fraudulent charges. I have to believe that their few good reviews are friends or family because there's no way they even deserve 1 star. Bottom line - 24 Restore is the worst. read more
