After my natural gas detector went off this morning, the gas company came out and told me it was most likely a sewage gas leak in my laundry room. There was a strong eggy smell, and I was concerned. I called 24 Rooter Plumbing, and Daniel responded quickly. He was incredibly professional, kind, and thorough. After moving my washer and dryer, he carefully checked the gas connections and reassured me that there was no gas leak, he didn't smell anything coming from the wall. Instead, he traced the foul smell to inside my washing machine. I had noticed the smell before and had tried cleaning it with pods, but I didn't realize it could be causing the alarm. Daniel even went above and beyond by giving me a free estimate for a smoke bomb test with cam inspection. Also, he kindly washed out the water hose connected to the washer. That level of service and honesty is hard to come by.
