I came for the Ladies Night (which are on Thursdays) and had such a nice time! Ladies night is fun because it's BYOB, so you can bring your own snacks or drinks. They have a lot of pottery pieces to choose from, so my indecisive self took a while to decide what I wanted to paint. I ended up choosing a plate with a bunny on it because I want to use it for Easter. They have a lot of pieces for each holiday, so I definitely want to go back to paint some of their Christmas items. My only complaint was that it's a very small store, so it was pretty tight when people were walking around. Other than that, it was a nice change of scenery because I usually don't have paint nights like this. We all agreed that we'd come back again in the near future! read more

Had a fun time painting pottery with my boo and my booister for her bday shenanigans. It was a tough task choosing what to paint. We all wanted something that wouldn't just collect dust, but that would also be useful. I chose a shark with its mouth wide open for holding a sponge or keys or something you secretly want someone to not stick their fingers into because the pointy teeth are all surrounding its orifice. I painted mine almost similar to a whale shark but managed to get a sea creature imprinted in its mouth. My boo painted a uniquely surfaced mug and my booister painted a small pot/planter for storing things. We spent quite a bit of time there. Painting takes up a lot of the experience...obv. It was a great time. Yelp! (when I checked in) gave me a 10% off coupon which saved us about $19.00. It can get pricey because it's per person per hour plus each paint-able item has a cost, which helps in the deciding factor. They have plain paints and sandy paints for added texture. The paints cannot be mixed together to make other colors. You can grab a bunch off of the shelves and take it to your table. They have multiple bottles of each so it's easy to take what you need. We got to apply the paints to our unique tile palettes and then go from there. Some of the paints look different in the bottle than the actual color that will appear after firing. They have tiles beneath the bottles of the colors you want to use. Below all of the paints they have categorized bins for stamps you can apply paint to with a sponge and then apply it to your (painted) pottery. We paid and left our art with them to fire it up in the kiln. My booister said she'll grab them when they're done. I'm eager to see what awaits! Happy paints! read more

They have a great selection of pottery pieces: small keepsakes, plates, cups, bowls, etc. The staff is friendly-- they come around and ask if you need anything. Cost is $9/hr + the cost of pottery pieces. Studio sitting area is very cramped. When people were searching for pieces, they were constantly bumping into my table. I ended up painting 2 mugs and after sitting for 2 hrs, it came out to be ~ $55. The big disappointment came 2 weeks later when I got my fired pieces-- both mugs had "crazing," or a network of cracks in the glaze. The mugs were physically intact, but the cracked glaze completely ruined the pieces. I've since found another pottery painting place & have painted almost a dozen pieces. Not a single one of my pieces have returned with cracked glaze. Parking is right outside. If you're going to stop by, you can save some money by going to Ladies night on Thurs: $9 flat fee + pottery piece from 6-9pm and adult night on Fri: $9 flat fee + pottery piece from 6-9pm (you can bring your own drinks & food; you have to call & reserve a spot). read more

My friend and I took our young toddlers here, I was nervous the entire time they were going to break the entire place, there's shelves of pottery everywhere, it's very cramped. The woman working was very nice but a little... quirky... she kept trying to direct us on how we *should* be painting, like she said not to paint the inside... I asked why and she said she likes to see the color of what she's drinking... personally, I like the inside painted but she made it sound like a rule... Overall, I wouldn't go back with a child, it was too stressful with the potential for breaking everything and I've been to lots of pottery painting places. It'd be fine for adults though and I believe I saw they do a ladies night there which I'm sure is awesome. read more

Called during the week to ask if they could accommodate people for Sunday afternoon, the girl told me yes to call an hour before and they would make room. When I called two hours before at 2pm I was aggressively told they had no room for us and not to bother to come because they close at 5pm. Customer service was awful!! Instead I took the 20 minute drive to "muddworks" where the people were more than welcoming!! read more

My daughter went there the other day with three friends. They thought it would be something fun to do during the Summer. Their websites says that it is $9 an hour for ages 13 and older. After my daughter was there about 20 minutes we had an emergency and had to pick her up. They charged me $23 for a mug that she was making. A rip off for the money read more
