Most pottery places have both a studio fee in addition to the price of the piece. At this studio, however, you only pay for the price of the piece. The "No studio fee" makes me want to spend more on a piece to work on. The workers have been the same for years and are all very helpful. A petite girl with brown hair helped us and was very patient while I decided what mixed media project I would choose. My boyfriend painted a pottery piece while I painted a butterfly and then added mosaics to it. Aside from pottery and mosaics, other crafts include candle making and glass infused pieces. A wide selection of paints, mosaics, pottery pieces, etc. It's perfect for a get together with friends or a date activity. On select Thursday evenings, they will hold a "women only event" as well as "only kids events" during breaks from school. You will not be disappointed with Artrageous! Please come :)

I ended up choosing a plate with a bunny on it because I want to use it for Easter. They have a lot of pieces for each holiday, so I definitely want to go back to paint some of their Christmas items. My only complaint was that it's a very small store, so it was pretty tight when people were walking around. Other than that, it was a nice change of scenery because I usually don't have paint nights like this. We all agreed that we'd come back again in the near future!

He struck the perfect balance of demonstrating techniques while giving us the freedom to create and have fun. His passion for pottery is contagious, and he made the entire class feel welcoming, relaxed, and memorable. When my 5 yo acted up, she was super calm and understanding. She even helped us perfect her piece. Saule also expedited all the pieces for us because we live out of the area and were leaving in a couple of days. If I lived in the area I'd want a membership or discount because I'd be back and there's an $8 painter's fee (which adds up!). HIGHLY recommend!!!!

Once my 2.5 year old finished painting the sculpture my daughter continued playing with the brushes they had provided us. The owner came around and took the brushes away, saying that they will have to be washed again since my daughter got color on them. I don't understand the fuss since this is a painting studio too so obviously you are washing the paint brushes! Definitely a place for 4+ toddlers, i would not go in with kids below that age, not super friendly for that younger age group.
