The Jeweler-was working diligently at his work area with a loop to eye. The young man who served me yesterday seem to understand the value of jewelry. This said , I mean the heart felt value of why people wear jewelry as also per say the qualities of fine jewelry and costume jewelry. In his kindness he seemed to understand why a regifted pretty ceramic pin for a birthday gift, that needed fixing had value and was worth a cost to fix and wear that I was glad for it being able to be fixed. I also had a lost stone replaced in my ring. It was cleaned and polished. He asked me how it looked and all I could say was WOW! Another customer had a long chain fixed . My experience at Dilia's was unforgettable. My boyfriend and I decided to go engagement ring shopping back in April. We've been together for 8 years an decided getting married was the next big step and we were more than ready. The only issue was I didn't know what kind of engagement ring I wanted. I had done my research and quickly got overwhelmed with all the new styles of settings and diamonds to choose from that we decided to just go to the diamond district and get educated. Never in a million years I would think I would choose the ring of my dreams, especially since we were only browsing. We started at the 5th avenue side of the diamond district and worked our way down. Many of the store we first encountered had amazing rings but something just didn't feel right. It was either the prices were too high or their customer service was just lacking. In several stores We felt like we were being handled as just another business transaction and we left feeling even more clueless than when we started. Until we reached our final store, Dalia. We were greeted by Natalia, the most vibrant personality we had encountered that day. From the moment we entered the atmosphere changed. Natalia began by educating us on what we should look for when purchasing a diamond: carat, clarity, cut,etc. she then brought out several settings that I would be interested in and I decided that halo was ideal for me. We then saw the different styles, color, and sizes of diamonds and once the diamond was put on my setting my heart stopped. I was not expecting to fall in love with a ring that day. I thought I would just look around and weigh my option but I fell in love at first sight. Shortly after my boyfriend and Natalia spoke about finances and a ring was purchased. I do not know how much was paid but the price must have been good if my boyfriend decided to buy right then and there. A few months later we went back to buy our wedding bands and immediately Natalia recognized us. She treated us with the same warmth she did when we first went to Dalias and again, we walked out extremely happy. I will say that I am so thankful for them. They truly made this an unforgettable experience and I will 100% recommend all of my family and friends to visit their store when the time is right. We couldn't be any happier with our decision to buy at Dalias and we will continue to be their customers for many years to come. read more

In late 2018, I was faced with the task of finding the absolute perfect engagement ring for my now fiance. I had been doing loads of research for about 3 months online and I finally mustered up the courage to start going to actual retail locations near me. I want to start off by saying that I went to many box jewelry stores that you see commercials on TV for (Jared, Kay, Helzberg, etc.). I was surprised that they are mostly scams and they try to close the sale as soon as possible without really trying to help the customer reach their goals. These places will tell you that they are cutting their prices to try and keep up with online jewelers because they have less overhead without a store front. It sounds realistic, but DO NOT fall for this garbage!! After a few frustrating trips to many jewelers on Long Island (including private jewelers that did not want to listen to my specific requests), I found myself at a highly recommended and reputable jeweler called FROM ITALY WITH LOVE. From the moment I stepped into this store, I was treated with respect and true care. All of my questions were answered truthfully and whenever I made suggestions based on information that I found online, it was handled professionally. What I mean by this is that I found a very large amount of information regarding diamonds online and I brought just about every word to Ron's attention. He told me straight up what is true and what is not and took hours of his time to educate me on diamonds, aftercare, ongoing maintenance, etc. Jeff also spent a lot of time researching diamond specifications that I was interested in within my budget (which I must have changed 4 times on them). They were very patient and super helpful. I walked out of the store after the final payment with the biggest sigh of relief and I have to say that I do not see myself going anywhere else for jewelry for as long as I live on Long Island. My fiance and I went in to the store after she said yes and the ring was resized for free and while we were standing there within about 30 minutes. By far the best jeweler on Long Island and highly highly highly reputable. You will be doing yourself a disservice if you don't step foot in here when looking for any type of jewelry. Came here with my fiancé to look at engagement rings. While it can be a nerve racking process to shop for one, it should also be an exciting one. At first the gentleman who helped us was professional and receptive to what we were looking for. I ended up telling him thank you for your time, and that we would shop around a little more and he'd hear back from me. I went to another business and spoke with an employee there who was much more informative than anybody at From Italy With Love. The employee from the second business told me if I wanted to give my business to Italy With Love then to make sure I was getting a diamond that was GIA graded. I called from Italy with love back and the first question they asked when they picked up the phone was " are you ready to put a down payment on the diamond?". I said no I'm not ready, I want to confirm that the diamond you showed me was GIA graded. I divulged too much information and told him I went to another business who told me I should confirm that it's GIA graded. He replied by telling me his diamonds are GIA certified, not GIA graded. And that the other business' diamonds were essentially not as valuable as his. Turns out there's no difference between graded and certified, essentially they're the same exact thing. I asked him if I could come in and see the GIA certification and he said yes. I went back to from Italy with love and he wouldn't let me hold the certification. He claimed it was "his diamond". If he gave me that info, I could have went home and looked more into the legitimacy of the diamond, but he didn't allow me to note the GIA number, while the other business had no problem with my taking a picture of it. After all, I'm the consumer. Him and another employee then proceeded to bash other businesses in front of my fiancé and I, as if they're the only ones that can be trusted. It was completely unprofessional, and I was more than happy not to give them my business. read more

I recently purchased an Engagement Ring from Jeff at From Italy With Love and I couldn't be happier with my experience. I went to Jeff at the recommendation of a close family friend. I was nervous as I walked in, this was the first Jeweler I was seeing, but this all melted away almost instantly. From the moment I arrived, I was treated professionally and was met with a friendly attitude. Jeff answered all of my questions and even went as far as to teach me what to look for in a diamond. I never once felt pressured to buy from him, and even as I walked out to go look at other Jewelers he gave me tips on what to look for and the right questions to ask the other guys. After going to several other Jewelers, I ended up back at From Italy With Love. No one came even CLOSE to the price that Jeff had offered, I even had one Jeweler tell me to go back to him because the deal was so good. After purchasing the stone, and of course waiting until the lat minute, I asked Jeff is he could have the ring expedited for me. He told me it would be ready by Wednesday, I told him I needed it by Friday. And of course, he made it happen. He was with me every step of the way and he truly cares about each and every one of his customers. My Fiance loves the ring and I couldnt be happier/more grateful for the work that Jeff did and the care that he put into the entire process. My boyfriend and I have been engagement ring shopping for the past few days. We've been to other vendors throughout Long Island and queens and thought that we would give a "the best of Long Island" rated jewelers a try. After five minutes of speaking to Steve and Jeff, it's extremely apparent that they live up to the standards of the best in Long Island, if not even shattering that expectation. Of all the jewelers we've been working with, Steve and Jeff were the only two who actually took the time to sit down with us to explain the benefits of choosing the correct clarity, grade, etc. Steve even took us outside with the diamonds to demonstrate the difference in clarity when in the sunlight! Two true gentlemen who educated us on ring shopping and didn't pressure us in making a purchase, unlike most vendors out there. I know my boyfriend will be returning soon to purchase the ring of my dreams all thanks to the help of from Italy with love. If you're looking for a jeweler that's honest, accommodating with pricing, professional and knowledgable, make sure to go to this establishment. Excellent customer service is difficult to come by these days, but after working with this establishment, they most certainly demonstrate customer centric values. I was referred by a co-worker after I asked where she got her engagement ring. After speaking with Jeff after our initial conversation in which he explained (with aloooot of patience) the important steps of choosing an engagement ring- I knew From Italy With Love would be where I ended up buying her ring. I spoke to several other jewelers throughout the city/queens/LI and never felt nearly as comfortable speaking about my preferences, asking my silly questions, or just not feeling pressured or rushed. I got an education on diamonds, honest and invaluable feedback given his over 35 years experience in the field, and most importantly I felt like my best interest was always paramount. After a few months choosing the perfect ring, and a few weeks waiting for the perfect time, we are now happily engaged! It's not often one encounters business owners like Jeff. He is truly an honest, kind, knowledgeable, and all around good person. I went to see Jeff because I wanted a somewhat non-traditional engagement ring. Most of the other jewelry stores my boyfriend and I visited were not able to provide us with what we were looking for. So as usual, I turned to Yelp and noticed all of the good reviews for From Italy With Love. Upon first meeting Jeff, I felt he understood what I was looking for and could make my vision a reality.He also provided us with valuable information about diamonds and what to look for. None of the other jewelry stores we visited did that for us. What I really liked is that Jeff stayed within the budget we mentioned to him. Because the ring I wanted was a little different, it needed to be created. Gone are the days of businesses going the extra mile to make the customer happy, or so we thought! I'm happy to report that From Italy With Love maintains the age old customer service practices and satisfaction we all so desire, all the while making you feel like you're part of the family and that your business does in fact matter! We travelled to 5 or 6 jewelers before ending up at FIWL. We almost didn't bother as we were feeling so discouraged from the previous stores where we tried to find a classic cross and chain for a gift. Every other store tried to hard sell us on designs that were anything but traditional and classic. The designs we viewed here with Jeff were exactly what we were looking for! The price was absolutely fair, especially compared to what we had seen for far less spectacular pieces. What can I say about this business other then they are truly AMAZING!!!! I brought my expensive Tag watch to them in 2012 for a new battery. I completely forgot about the watch. My first child was born and I never thought about the watch again. I got a message on my machine a week ago from them reminding me about my watch. I couldn't believe it. Four years later and they still had it. They told me they had called numerous times and left messages on my machine. They had the dates written down. I totally believe them too. My husband obviously forgot to give me the message. I am amazed they still had my watch and made several attempts to return it to me. They are incredibly knowledgeable and trustworthy and worked with my fiancé as far as ring payments. They didn't pressure him, and he was able to bring in money whenever he could. My fiance and I are recently engaged and he bought my beautiful engagement ring from here! They did such an amazing job taking his mother's diamond and transforming the ring into something really different, special and amazing, adding a beautiful halo and high setting to the ring. A few weeks after getting engaged I was in the store with a friend, who was looking at their great selection of wedding bands, and the owner recognized my ring on my finger from across the room and, without ever having met me before, knew they had made my ring. Discovering From Italy With Love, was the best happy accident! We initially went in looking for a watch for my husband. After talking with Jeff, and his immense patience, we walked out with 2 watches. That was 3 years ago. Since that day, he has proven countless times, what honesty and integrity truly mean. My boyfriend, who recently gained the title of fiancé, went to from Italy with Love to have my engagement ring made. He was given a family diamond from my mom and wanted to get it put into a new setting. I may have had an inkling that this was happening and I was unsure of how the diamond would look in a different setting. I may have been struggling to see past the old setting with rubys next to it. When my fiancé proposed to me I could not believe it was the same diamond. The jewelers at From Italy with Love reset the pear shape diamond into a halo setting, thin band ring. Which is exactly what I wanted. The clarity of the center diamond against the band and halo makes the diamond glistening with an almost yellow hue. I don't write reviews because I feel that most of them are either altered or fake. But the reason why I am giving this review a try is because they truly deserve a gem review. My fiancé and I had decided to get married on our anniversary date which was in a couple weeks, and that's when we had walked into this jewelry store when we had shop around for our wedding rings. I must say, the ambience of the store was fuming with a family environment. I didn't feel as if they were trying to sell me anything, but more like they were involved in our situation. I bought an engagement ring over a year ago from another jeweler on Long Island which I returned because I was not given accurate information about the ring. A couple months ago, my fiancé and I were looking for a new engagement ring and decided to try From Italy With Love after seeing that it had such good reviews. We were not disappointed. We found a design that we both liked but preferred to have in yellow gold, so Jeff offered to have the ring fabricated for us in yellow gold and helped us pick out an appropriate diamond for the ring. We got the ring a few weeks ago and they did a fantastic job. My fiancé and I were both very satisfied with the quality of the ring and the customer service they provided. Where do I begin!!! What an absolute pleasure it was working with Jeff (owner) and the rest of his team in finding the perfect engagement ring for my now fiancé. This being my first time I didn't know much about diamonds but they took the time and effort to carefully explain in detail everything I needed to know. His prices are extremely fair and will only buy diamonds that meet his standard of excellence. You give a budget of what you want to spend and he will stay in your budget! We would recommend From Italy With Love to everybody!! My family has gone to Jeff and Ron at this jeweler and trusted them for years, so of course when it came time to pick out wedding bands with my husband, there was nowhere else I would have rather gone. Jeff and Ron are so helpful and creative - they knew exactly what we wanted after we gave them some general ideas, and they helped guide us to what was most stylish and sturdy based on their vast expertise. Our rings are gorgeous and very high quality. I also went to FIWL to buy necklaces for my girlfriends, which Jeff expertly helped me design in a way that was in my budget and beautiful. My wife has had a broken prong in her engagement ring for a few years now. She has been afraid to wear her ring for fear of losing her diamond. She wanted to get a new band but did not know who to trust. One of my wife's very good friend recommended "From Italy With Love". We could not have been more pleased. From the time we walked in the door until the time we picked up the new band with her diamond reset, we were treated like family. They went the extra mile. Even texting my wife a picture of her new ring before we actually picked it up. Their prices were very competitive as well.
