It appears the reviews noting that this business is a scam might be correct…read more I hired JSC Mobile Diesel & Automotive Repair to do some repairs on my motorhome RV, including changing the rear main seal as well as rebuilding the transmission with upgraded parts. Their Yelp reviews looked good so I had no reason to suspect this company was fraudulent. But little did I know that Yelp has classified all of the negative reviews, all of which report similar issues with this company running off with people's money, as "Not recommended" which means they don't affect this businesses rating nor do they show up on the businesses main reviews listing. They hide these reviews behind a tiny grey link at the bottom of the page. I ordered the transmission parts and supplied them to JSC. The "upgraded" transmission parts that I ordered and supplied to JSC cost me $3100. JSC billed me $1,100 in additional parts they needed to do the rear main seal. On July 26th JSC came out and took the transmission off my truck and took it back to their garage to perform the work. They took the transmission itself as well as the $3100 in upgraded parts. The stock transmission would cost me around $3,000 to replace. This is around $6,100 total in parts that he left with to perform this work. They also sent me an invoice for an additional $1,100 they said they needed to procure additional parts to do the work. This brings the total value of what I've given them to around $7,200 This was two weeks ago. They originally said they'd be back the next day with the rebuilt transmission. Now they are ignoring my attempts to contact them, and if/when they do respond they just apologize and make excuses and promise me they'll be out "tomorrow" with the rebuilt transmission. But every time they respond they invent a new excuse. It's been 2 weeks of excuses and "we'll get out there tomorrow" so I'm pretty sure they've stolen my transmission and my expensive upgrade parts. Again: $7,200 in total losses.

Still trying to get my $500 back from my back that was told to me it was going to be refunded…read more These people are real scammers stay away. He made it to me in a beat up car with no tools, charged me 200 additional dollars for a service he couldn't provide. I was under the impression i was paying for parts that he never got. 2 weeks ago New If I…read morecould give zero stars I would. We took our car here with it's check engine light on to be diagnosed. We were told by the shop that it needed a simple oil sensor replacement which they did. As soon as we left the shop and drove just a mile the engine began to tremble and the car is now making a horrible squealing noise. We immediately brought the car back to them. They began looking at the car again and told us that the car had little to no oil in it and they they didn't touch anything except for the sensor. Immediately they were defensive. How does the car come back in worse condition is my question. I truly feel like we flushed money down the toilet and now we are having to have our vehicle towed to the dealership. Thanks for nothing. Can't trust them at all. Additional response: No we were not informed of there being no oil to begin with. What kind of repair shop would receive a vehicle with no oil, tell the customer there's no oil and miss a perfect opportunity to up sell for an oil change and then return said vehicle with no oil for the customer to drive off? Make that make sense! You guys are a joke.

We broke down on the side of the road and were towed to this location based on the tow truck…read moredriver's recommendation. The staff repaired everything within three hours and were back on the road. The repairs got us back home as well. Would not like to meet like that again but grateful for repair shops like this one.
