Recently went to get my nails done as I've been going there for a while using the same nail tech Celine....she was extremely rude to me when I told her the polish was not what I had picked and to get the swatch and look at it again. She got out of her chair and started speaking to her colleagues in Asian throwing her hands up in the air. I knew she was talking about me and complaining. When she got the swatch I proved her right. She then changed the polish on the 2 fingers she started and then apologized. I composed myself and said thank you, gave her a tip and walked out. I will never go back there again. I have been going there for about 9 months and I've always noticed she was a very agitated and unkind person but I just took her personality for what it was because I liked how she did my nails. If I could give this place a "0" star I would. I got my nails filled on a Saturday and they were completely chipped by Monday (shame on me because this was the second time this happened!). I even used nail glue to glue down the big flakes of polish. Due to a busy work week, I went in Wednesday after work (4 days post getting nails done); I was there at 7:30pm to explain what happened and they would not take me because they close at 8pm. I asked if they could just fix the 3 very chipped nails and they proceeded to tell me to come back in the morning (although this is not the point, but we are leaving for vacation in the early morning). I asked for a gift card to redeem next time I came in and they said, "no." I will never go back again. Horrible customer service and obviously old/cheap product. And although this is petty, I was never a fan of the vibe; it was always a place of convenience for me. Regret coming here. Prices are high. It is 25$ for basic pedi. Spa pedicure start at 40$. Foot massage was horribleI, I didn't enjoy it. I actually couldn't wait for it to end and towards the end I just asked her to stop. The bottom of my feet looked worse than before I came in after the callus removal. The staff here is not friendly but not rude either, just neutral. I have no complains about cleanliness. The nail Polish chipped on every nail after 3 days. When I came back they wanted additional 10$ to fix it. Overall, I will not come back here and I wouldn't recommend this place for a pedicure. I went to this place for a french dip powder manicure. From start to end it was a terrible experience. First off, she cut my natural nails which wasn't asked for so I had to have tips put on which I didn't want. Then, she clearly did not know how to do a french manicure (which is incredibly basic...) so I kindly told her if she couldn't do it I would just pick a solid color. She refused & said she could do it. Once she continued to struggle I insisted I please just pick a color. I visited 29 Nail & Spa on 7/3/15 and the nail salon had only been open for two weeks! It smelled clean and fresh. Most polishes were still new. The equipment was all in perfect condition - as one would expect. I was already loving the place but let's face it... it's all about service. 29 Nail & Spa fully deserves five stars on service! Although the staff was still being trained to make sure they meet the owners standards and provide great customer service, they were all flawless to me. My pedicure was fantastic - the massage was the right pressure, my nails were done perfectly, and I was comfortable the entire time. I should mention that I got the "raspberrry and pomegranate" spa pedicure since I was getting my nails done for my birthday and splurged a bit. Pricing could have been maybe $5 less to be in line with other nail salons I have been to but generally good pricing for pedicures. I would personally like a slightly more rigid or coarse tool for removing callus so it works a bit better but not the end of the world. My feet are still smooth and soft. I get a gel manicure so I absolutely LOVE how the UV lights are within the tables so my hand isn't awkwardly placed on top of a UV dryer when painted (as with some locations I've been to in the past). Wide variety of colors to choose from. Excellent process and good cleaning of my nails. Price was perfect - actually the best I've paid for which was $28. Design is a bit more which I splurged for but they do painted designs and have the glue charms. Great little shoulder/back massage while drying. I also had some waxing done. Also a great job. Pricing good as well. Very clean, quick, and sanitary (which is key!). I look forward to going back again and perhaps making this my new place to always go if they get a frequent customer card or something - I appreciate those so it makes my multiple visits worthwhile. read more

My go to nail salon. The ladies always sit me down quickly so I never need to make an appointment. I usually go on the weekday so I'm not sure if their crowded on the weekend. They have wide selection of gel colors and dip powder colors. I usually get the dip powder. The lady does a really good job with the dip powder. She takes her time to make sure it looks natural and not bulky like some other salons do. I also enjoy the pedicure. They have spa pedicures which are really relaxing and ; they give thorough foot massages, which are so good. It's a clean salon so I feel comfortable coming here. read more

Then As she was doing my nails I ask her to cut my nails, she refuse to do it, so I grab my nail clip and started cutting my own nails, at the end I did not like the attitude she gave me, as she ask me if I like the nails. First, I have never been here when they open on time! Every time I have ever been here at 10:00 (the time it states they open) they pull in about 10:30 give or take. One time i left, went somewhere else and drove by at 10:40.... still not open! I have seen so many people wait in there cars for a while and drive away. Not smart to run a business this way. They also seem to always be in a rush when doing your nails. I also find most of the nails techs to be extremely unfriendly. At times I've felt like they were doing me a favor by giving me a mani/pedi! Today when I left I said thank you to the women who works there sitting on the couch and she didn't even look up from her phone. I also think as a few other yelpers have stated that there services are going down hill. Like they are taking short cuts. 1. They used to file your gel manicure before applying the polish remover and tin foil to soak off your gel. They haven't done this the last few times I was there and it definitely makes a difference when it's time to peel of the gel once they are ready to take the foil off, which in turn makes them scrape harder to get them off, damaging your nails more (this is the only place that hasn't filed some of the gel first before applying the foil to your nails) 2. They haven't soaked my nails in water during a manicure prior to cutting my cuticles. They have cut me the last few times because of this since the cuticles are dry. 2. They don't clean under your nails with the wooden tool anymore. Today the man doing my manicure cut me quite bad. He didn't even apply antiseptic to my cut before continuing (which is also quite unsanitary) I'm so glad there are a few other places I have found that are much better then this place because I'm definitely done giving this place a second, third, twentieth chance. I would have given 1 star except for the fact that a few employees are nice and the salon itself is nice looking. read more

I am so done with this place. The parking was convenient but this place is going down hill. It's nice inside but as i've been coming here, been starting to notice it's not that clean.... The first SNS manicure i got was okay .. it was uneven on some fingers and kind of thick. I came here to get the same manicure done.. i called ahead and made an appt. I walk in and it's busy, 1 person sitting on the couch waiting for a pedicure and every other employee was working on someone. So i get that it's busy so the girl that's working on my nails has to stop and answer the phone at the same time. (rolling my eyes) She rushed me to pick my color out. Kept trying to grab my hand to start filing... can you just wait a second? As she was filing and buffing.. i was staring at the color i picked and decided i wanted to change it. This annoyed her.. after that she started working on my cuticles.. i didn't see where she got the tool from initially but when she was done i realized she recapped the cuticle clipper in a nasty plastic cover and stuck it back in her basket. I WAS SOO GROSSED OUT! i wasn't paying attention !! Those tools should come fresh out of the sterilizer and go back in after. Not obviously reused. Overall my SNS was rushed, very uneven and sloppy.. There's also polish left around my fingers Also at the end i realized the guy doing this girls gel manicure next to me, HAD WARTS ON HIS THUMB SOO DISGUSTING he should be wearing a band aid and gloves NEVER COMING BACK read more

Walked in on a Sunday afternoon. It was fairly busy, but they close at six so I thought no big deal. Advised the woman that greeted me what I was looking for . A mani/pedi for myself and a full set for my daughter and 2 nieces. She looked at the woman behind her in the first booth and relayed I'm assuming what I asked for. The woman in the first booth turned to me and said " We can only do mani/pedi and one full set". I said no thank you are called my husband to come back and pick us up. He asked why wouldn't they do it and out of curiosity I turned and asked why. At this time she claims we can't do you guys all at one time and that's what she meant. ILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. I have been coming here for years myself but in the last year and a half I've brought along my grandmother who was diagnosed with dementia. everything here has went well and they know her and always ask about her even when she doesn't come along with me. They ask about her health and such. so I honestly thought it was a great experience coming to this place. But my final time coming I brought my grandmother set her up with color to get a manicure pedicure when they sat her in her chair they asked what she was doing and I told her a manicure pedicure this time. I left for 15 minutes to for the first time since bringing her there because I thought what could go wrong. At the end I went to pay and I found out they had a charged me for a a bunch of services that i never asked for when I was there, and so I had to pay for it all because they started becoming hysterical. When I said it I did not agree to any of the the charges or services prior to leaving my grandmother with them. She has dementia and doesn't even remember any of the services so I can't even actually vouch for them. Neither should they have a charged her for things that they've never asked her for prior in the years that she's been coming here, I'll never forget this experience, and I will never come back again. Im new in the neighborhood do I decided to try this place, since is the closest one to my house. Nana was my nail girl and she was amazing. Took a little more than I am used too, but at the end i was really happy with the fabulous job. No wonder! I choose acrylic nails. At the end there was a little tiny broken tip nail. I didnt even care, but Nana took her time to make all my nails square and even. I know thats the way it should be, but i had experiences in another places that dont care if there is a lil bit of difference. She was quick with the polish and I dont remember the last time that I was so satisfied with a manicure. Fiy: they do have a membership program and they do give points if you write a review, but thats not why I am writing mine. New to the area and was looking for a new manicurist. Decided to give this salon a shot based on the amazing Yelp reviews. Unfortunately it seems the patrons get membership points towards store credit for writing reviews which explains how this place could possibly rate so well. The salon itself appears nice but the tools are not sanitized (thrown into a machine that sanitizes but is not even plugged in), they are not thorough with manicure cleanup, and I was cut during my pedicure. Asked for square nails and now have trapezoids for toe nails . Good thing they grow back. Not sure if it was this particular technician but either way I will not be returning. read more

I asked for a full set with pink powder & somewhat narrow square shaped nails, yet I got wide uneven looking acrylics (I had to refile once I got home) On top of that the nail tech gave me an attitude when I asked her to fix a few things that I wasn't happy with, which made the experience even worse. I was a bit skeptical when another woman there was unhappy bc she felt rushed but still I decided to give it a shot. This place is great, it's clean and the technicians are very personable. They do wonderful pedicures, when I'm done I feel renewed.
