Absolutely the worst place I have ever been to for my nails. I was looking for a place that wasn't crowded because of my anxiety with covid. Well now I know why it wasn't crowded for a Friday afternoon. I got tips with gel polish. As you can see the nail wasn't filled to the cuticle bed. And the polish was on the cuticles. The nails were crooked, uneven surfaces and thick. The polish job was like if it was done by a 4 year old. I pointed it out and she said it will fix itself. I was not going to argue. I am the type of person that will address the issue once and if not resolved I will never go back. I also received a pedicure. Super overpriced for horrible service. Paid $45 for spa pedicure with massage and had to pay $10 extra for callus removal which is normally included in most spa pedicures. Definitely will not be returning. read more

Been here for years! It's still my go-to place when I want an inexpensive, but amazing quality work done. I got a gel manicure and it has been three weeks, nothing chipped or peeled. The only difference from when I got it done is that my nails grew out! I cannot say that for other nail salons I tried. Once in a while, I get the hot stone pedicures. I just found out that they used fresh lemons to make the scrubs. It's cold now, so they did not expect to have too many customers doing pedicures and ran out of lemons. Kevin went to the small Greek deli next door and brought them just to make more scrubs. They are the only place I know that makes it from scratch for every customer! I was also curious on what else they make themselves, and turns out the cucumber scrub is also made fresh. I definitely will try that the next time I'm there. The scrubs really takes off the dead skin cells and make my skin feel extremely smooth. I recommended this salon to my friends and family and they love this place as much as I do. The staff are extremely friendly, especially Sunny. She always asks how my sister is going and knows what's going on in my life. It's hard to find a place where the staff really cares. Top it all off, the prices are extremely cheap! read more

This is the only place whose acrylic does not lift for me. I have tried plenty of other places sometimes just because I want to switch things up a bit or if my lady wasn't here. They always take good care of me even if I don't have an appointment. They are so good with my granddaughter when I bring her in and make her feel so special. Me and friend came here today to get manicures and pedicures. At first the experience was pretty good. But then it took a turn for the worst. My friends experience: She was getting her pedicure done and the woman asked her if she wanted the callus remover. She said no and the woman said that she needs it. The woman NEVER specified if it was going to cost extra or how much. She was pretty pushy about it too. At the end, she was charged $10 extra for something she did NOT want. My experience: Started off great. Then when I was all finished and I paid my bill (I got the $25 hot stone pedicure, which was NOT worth $25. Usually you get callus remover with that free. And a couple little extras which I did not receive. It was just a regular pedicure with a hot stone rub). Then I got the SNS dip powder ($35 and the girl did more steps on me than what is called for). My bill came to $60. 3 or 4 different girls serviced me. They kept changing girls on me every few minutes. I left the one girl (who serviced me the longest) a $5 tip. This woman then had the audacity to ask me "You not gonna tip her? She did your pedicure." No. I'm not. Share it. She only did my pedicure for 5 minutes! NO ONE in the history (16 years) of getting my nails done has EVER spoken to me like that or asked me if I was going to tip someone else. The woman laughed at me when I said "No, that's all I have. Share it." I was snippy because I couldn't believe she had the audacity to ask me that. I will NOT be returning here again. read more

This spot is my go to salon in Long Island. It is clean and the nail techs here are very skilled. Book your appointment before you go - Sunny is my go to girl! She is gentle and I feel very comfortable putting my trust in her when getting my nails done. My SNS lasted almost a full month and now my real nails are healthy and long. read more

Don't believe everything you read! Just moved back to NY and have been looking for a nail salon. The salons vibe was inviting, however the half a** mani/pedi was not! I have natural nails and have been getting manis for YEARS!! She did not soak my hands, she did a dry mani AND the horrible, clumpy paint job , ugh! She was more concerned about a $40 Rose Pedicure (which exfoliation was extra) and a 30 min foot massage??? DO NOT GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE!!! The service I just received was horrible I asked for a specific design and the nail tech Suni said she could do it. She rushed doing my nails from the very beginning. My nails were too short and she kept making mistakes that I would have to correct her for. She tried to talk me out of the design I asked for clearly if she couldn't do it she should have said so from the beginning. And when I paid for my nails I didn't give her a tip and she got upset and very rude with me. I explained to her that I was not pleased with my service and that she was rude and did not deserve a tip. She told me to never to come back again and I said "God bless you". read more

I currently live out of state, and try my best to wait to get nails done until I'm back on the island just so I can go here. And when I don't, the other places never compare. They handle heavy traffic patiently and respectfully, even when patrons can be very rude. The prices are very reasonable and the staff goes the extra mile to make each service extra special. I always appreciate the quick back rub while my nails dry. You cannot beat the quality as well! Don't bother making appointments because they don't honor them. I had an appointment and waited because they took a walk-in just before I came in. I had to leave after a half hour from my appointment and the owner of the store did nothing!!! The last time I had a pedicure from them I ended up with a fungal infection as well!! Literally the WORST nail place ever. None of them give a f*** how your nails look, no matter what time of day, they do your nails like they're rushing you out. I've been disappointed every time I've went. The last time I went there, this woman didn't pay any attention the entire time and my nails turned out HORRIBLY. It was just a simple fill in and a white polish. She wasn't looking at my nails while filing so they're all different shapes. And she GOT UP in the middle of my manicure.. the only thing left to do was paint my nails.. and she sits at the girl next to me trying to do difficult designs on this girls nail for over a half hour as I'm sitting there waiting for her to come finish my manicure. I ended up having to say something because it was taking way wayyyyy too long. Then she has the NERVE to tell me not to forget to bring cash to tip her next time. This nail place is average, they are pretty quick compared to other places but they are thirsty for tips. They are overpriced for children $6 when I've usually paid only 4 or even free as a courtesy for having my business. Social etiquette to me is most important and if you don't treat your customer polite by asking for a tip for my daughter when I gave a $10 tip then you lost my business. Went to Dynamite nails two weeks ago for the first time with powder gel. I wanted to get gel polish. They told me it would be $5 to soak unless I got powder again so I did. Today I went back again for powder gel. I literally sat there forever waiting for someone to come wrap my nails to soak. I wish they had said the wait would be so long. Finally they sit down to wrap them and take out the dremel machine and I ask for them to use the file instead. She goes and talks to someone who comes over and says it will be like 20 minutes for them to soak without and I said fine. Close to 30 minutes later, I'm still sitting there and after checking, the nails were soaked clean of the gel. Now everyone is busy and I'm wondering what the rush was to use the dremel or not when they're still taking people in off the street and starting them first even though I've been waiting. Finally, she finishes the pedicure she was doing and sits down to do my nails. First she filed my thumb nail completely crooked. I had to ask her to fix it and she was then filing the shorter side. I told her it was too long on the other side and to file there. Next, she jammed her long fingernail under my index finger nail in an attempt to clean up dip powder that she got on my skin. In doing so, she ripped the skin from the nail and it was bleeding underneath. I winced in pain and said ouch! Now it's time to pay and I show the man at the front (the owner) how she made me bleed and he does nothing but offer me a bandaid. $35 to be mangled and bloodied! Now I leave and I notice the index finger on my other hand isn't even smooth. The gritty dip powder is still present on the top while the rest of it is smooth. Terrible job at a higher price than where I usually go! Never again!! read more
