The 2am club or the "Deuce" as locals know it by, is always a pit stop whenever I'm in Mill Valley (which is not often). The owner of this lovely establishment, Amanda, has always greeted us with great energy. She's owned the 2 am club for 14 years and there's a reason patrons frequent this local bar. 2 pool tables and darts available to play. Good music always playing and sports playing on the multiple TVs they have. Overall cool vibes and strong pours.

This a local favorite dive bar. Pool tables, several big screens (inside & out), good music & Dog friendly. Very, very good beer selection, friendly staff - perfect place to stop in at on the way home :-)

Sam was amazing. Had to give a shout-out. Came in with my friend and she just went so out of her way to show us a good time. Drinks were delicious, not what you get from a typical sports bar. Total thanks from a fellow hospitality vet. Appreciate the great service!!

As a combined beer garden and pizza place, it features a huge outdoor area with plenty of spaced-out seating and a dedicated play area for kids, including foosball. The food is a major draw, with pies made by SF's own Pizza Hacker. It is easily some of the best pizza in the Bay Area; we tried several varieties, including the Margherita, Pepperoni, and the Ohio. They even offer a good quality gluten-free option, which was great for my buddy. Their drink menu is equally diverse, featuring an excellent selection of beer, wine, and mocktails, ensuring there is something for everyone. While the setting is excellent, the service can be a bit spotty. The restaurant gets extremely busy, and at times it feels like the staff is simply stretched thin. We found the table servers to be much better than the cashiers at the windows, who could be a bit unfriendly. One cashier even insisted he had confirmed our order correctly when I had to correct what was actually brought to us--definitely a case of poor active listening skills. They would have received 5 stars if it weren't for the cashiers taking orders. Overall, if you go in knowing it leans heavily toward a family-oriented crowd and can get very crowded, it's a wonderful place to enjoy great pizza and the outdoors. Just be patient with the parking, as it can be a bit tricky to find a spot.

Service was a bit spotty, but it was extremely busy, so it felt more like the staff was just stretched thin than anything else. It's also very family-friendly with lots of kids running around so just something to be aware of depending on the vibe you're looking for. We started with frosé, which sounded perfect for the weather, but they ended up being pretty bland and watered down, so I wouldn't order those again. The tap beer was crisp and came out quickly. For food, we got two pizzas and the kale salad. The salad was super fresh with great flavor. The pizzas took a while to come out, but overall were solid. I really enjoyed the Hawaiian- it had a good balance of toppings and a nice crust. The chorizo wasn't my favorite, though my friends liked it more than I did. Overall, it's a great outdoor space with good pizza, just go in knowing it gets very busy and leans more family-oriented.

Buckeye Roadhouse has such a classic, cozy vibe that immediately feels special--you can tell it's a place people come back to. First things first: make a reservation. This place is popular for a reason. The food absolutely did not disappoint. I ordered the chicken dish, and it was hands-down my favorite--perfectly cooked, flavorful, and comforting in the best way. The tuna tataki was another standout: fresh, beautifully presented, and light but satisfying. Every plate that hit the table felt thoughtful and well-executed. And then... the s'more pie. Wow. Easily one of the best desserts I've had in a long time and the perfect way to end the meal--rich, nostalgic, and totally indulgent without being overwhelming. Between the atmosphere, the service, and how solid every dish was, this place instantly went on my "come back soon" list. Already planning to return for a date night because it just has that romantic, timeless feel. Highly recommend if you're looking for great food, a polished experience, and a spot that feels like a treat every time.

It's inside a mall, and I did not see any directories to point the way. Once we found it and sat down, I noticed the sign telling us to scan the QR code on the table to order. Honestly, that almost sent me right back out the door. I wanted an actual menu, not a tiny phone screen with lots of scrolling and submenus, especially since I had questions about the food. The atmosphere felt a bit impersonal at first, mostly because of the mall setting and the QR-code ordering system, but the friendly staff helped make it feel much more comfortable once we got settled. The two people working the front were both very pleasant, answered my questions, and made the whole experience feel much more welcoming. They had a decent IPA selection and a variety of bar foods (pizza, wings, appetizers). We ordered the arancini, fried cauliflower, and a pizza. The fried cauliflower was the surprise hit for me, especially with the garlic aioli. The arancini and pizza were also very good. The QR ordering setup still feels more frustrating than inviting, but the friendly service and surprisingly good food turned things around. In the end, I left glad that I stayed.
