Phenomenal family vibe. Here with my uncle, he's been a regular since it opened. I went with a salad to keep it light. Good to be here. Service is quick and the food is A1 top tier

Loved, loved Perry's on Magnolia. Such a cute restaurant, and they've decorated it so nicely for this time of year. Christmas music, warm lighting, and an inviting vibe all around. Love attention to detail! Makes you happy just walking in front door. Service was impeccable, and the food came out warm and full of flavor. Can't wait to go back and sit outside under the redwoods. Highly recommend!

Perry's on Magnolia sets the standard by which other Marin restaurants should be judged. The food and service is extremely consistent and high-quality. Dining here always feels like an occasion. The servers are very friendly and professional, and they get all of the basics right. The food tastes extremely fresh and is always cooked just right. Personally, I enjoy sitting indoors, but the outdoor seating is also beautiful on a nice evening. I recommend the Perry's cheese burger with fries! It's a classic and it's one of the best burgers anywhere in Marin! They also have homemade potato chips as an alternative to French fries, which come heavily recommended. Whatever main you order, you must try the onion strings appetizer, it's delicious and extremely moreish!

What a beautiful escape, Perry's on Magnolia in Larkspur. This is our second time coming to this small and quaint downtown area. It's such a fun getaway for us, and we absolutely fell in love with Perry's, the park across the street, and the entire block filled with other vibrant and bustling restaurants, wine bars, coffee, ice cream, and more. How cool of a spot to have outdoor dining and TV's in the trees to enjoy local sports and entertainment. That's the first thing that drew me to this specific Perry's location ~ a dining experience like no other in the heart of nature. Indoor dining is also nice and cozy..I recommend making a reservation because it does seem to fill up with locals. Because it was a bit chilly, we made a reservation to sit indoors and watch the Dubs game. They had a high chair that attached to the table which was fun, and a great kids menu to choose from. The staff was so patient and kind to babies/small kiddos, and looking around as time progressed, it seemed that this spot is the family-friendly place to go. We ordered the Perry's Slyders (comes with 3) and they were SO delicious and filling. Comes with shredduce (shredded lettuce), tomato, mayo, grilled onions, pillowy fresh 'slyder' rolls, and ketchup on the side. I was in heaven! I also loved the NA drink menu, and ordered a tonic from Juice Shop which they served in a cold glass. My husband had a few local to the area brews (Pond Farm, yay!) and we decided after a tough Dubs loss, to go on a walk and hit the park before it got dark. (We had kids meal leftovers, which I can foresee being a great money saver in time, ha) All in all, great local digs and community feel. Can't wait to take my family here, sit outdoors, and truly take in all the vibes.

This is Walt from Walt's Adventures and I find myself in Larkspur, California at Perry's. This quaint restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining with heaters. The outdoor area has natural coverage for one dines among the redwoods. I was reminded of when I went camping those years ago. My dining experience easily compensated for any difficulties in travel for I quickly found myself at peace. We started with the potato skins appetizer. The presentation could have been more appealing but it made up for any indifference with its taste. I highly recommend them. Our selections were presented well and overall met with our satisfaction. Four of five for the veggies and the garlic bread, for our tastes, need more seasoning. If you are need of a break from your daily life and wish for tranquility and a great meal, seek out Perry's in Larkspur. Reservations recommended.

What a precious restaurant! We loved sitting outside! Our server was the BEST! Had a lemon drop with the artichokes for an appetizer. The crab cakes were so flavorful and fried perfectly. We took a photo at the photo op before we left! Excellent experience!

Why doesn't Apple stop for a year and make medical devices? When people talk about technology, that's where I start to get a little hot under the collar because I know that it's the key to solving some of the world's biggest problems. Having a faster, thinner telephone is not one of the world's biggest problems -- Luke Perry After a hike to Dawn Falls where techies kept ruining the trail ambiance by talking work and talking too loud for a Sunday, we ended up at this restaurant with a lovely outdoor seating area under the redwoods. Service was quick and friendly, and we enjoyed our French onion soup and beet salad. I had a Pliny instead of a glass of wine, and sitting next to the creek added to the experience. The techies ruining hiking should take note. Ditch the work on a Sunday and live for the moment. Recommended!

L I'm a French soup connoisseur so when I found out about this place, I had to drive the distance to come check it out and bab Let me tell you it was amazing great cheese pork comes out piping hot well seasoned and more on the thicker side.. the atmosphere is great I've been three times now only for the French onion soup and I always request my two table outdoor Tall seat table. Oh yea the servers are really friendly.

Great place to sit outdoors and have a meal. Very relaxing and well shaded. The lamb shank was very tender and well seasoned. Went well with the mash potatoes as the lamb shank sauce complemented it. The clam chowder was nice and thick with a good amount of potatoes and clam. Just a bit too salty for my preference.

I went here recently for dinner with my friend. Overall I'd give Perry's 3.5 stars. My rating is because I think many of the items are quite overpriced for what you get. Total for my items (2 apps, 1 soup, 2 sides, 1 dessert) came to about $80. I guess that's the Marin county tax. AMBIANCE: Beautiful outdoor seating surrounded by trees and the sound of running water. American diner feel. Sports bar look inside. SERVICE: Service is a bit slower if you sit outside it seems. Our waitress did check in on us a decent amount. FOOD: We got the ahi poke (great), potato skins (delicious), French onion soup (okay), Mac and cheese (skip) and creamed spinach (pretty good). We also got the apple Brown Betty dessert with ice cream on top (great).

What I received. 8 sad soggy croutons from a package and definitely not shaved Parmesan
    Olga S.

Wanted a good Caesar salad and looked at pictures on DoorDash and it's says "rustic croutons and shaved Parmesan" and pictures looked good. Received a salad that looked like it was poorly premade at Costco maybe 3 days ago. Soft basic croutons from a package and definitely not shaved parmesan. Nothing like the picture shown on their account. Romaine was pinkish already. Gross. Also got artichokes and they were not good either, super dry. Never had good luck with their food.

WHEN: Fri @ 8pm FInally came back 2 years later because the first time was weird. Although food was good, service wasn't great and I was turned off. I'm glad I came back because it was a much better experience! I can still talk about the food I ordered from both visits. PARKING: They have their own lot but it's quite small for such a large restaurant. But luckily street parking is free and there's a decent amount. There's plenty of seating both indoors (2 floors) and outdoors, which stretched from one far end of the restaurant to the other. I can't imagine there ever being a wait for a small party to be seated. Both times I thought the hosts seemed unfriendly, or at least indifferent. Like someone who seems like they didn't want to be there. The first time service felt like they just made the "busboy" take orders so it was super odd. The second time was a wonderful young gentleman who was upset helpful and friendly. Here's the food that was had from both visits (dinner): BREADSTICKS & BUTTER - Complimentary This only happened the first visit for some reason. Maybe it was discontinued. CORNBREAD - $7 3 muffins in fact! It was decent, has chives, and went well with my chili. MAC & CHEESE - $8 Baked and topped with breadcrumbs. Felt under cooked since the breadcrumbs pieces were falling off and I expected a darker shade. Regardless it was good enough to me! NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDER - $9 (Bowl) Very decent bowl as it was what to be expected. PERRY'S CHILI - $9 Cheddar, Red & Green Onion. This gorgeous big mug of chili was fully topped and delicious. I really enjoyed this as I was hankering for some chili! TRADITIONAL SPAGHETTI & MEATBALLS - $20 Comes with Grilled Garlic Bread. HOT SWEET DANG this dish is SOLID. I will come back for this comfort, as it was quite enjoyable! Give it a try! IMPOSSIBLE SMASH BURGER - $15 American Cheese, 1000 Island, Pickles. Nice when you don't have to pay extra for cheese in your burger. It comes with fries or salad and I was lucky they were willing to serve it with a side of Cesar salad (so nice!). I really enjoyed this. Something to order when one is hankering a burger without the gross feeling afterwards! I love the entire outdoor setting of this place. You get to sit so close to the trees and it just feels so nice I and serene. This place is great for romantic dates and big groups to enjoy.

Just a bit different, no need to overdo things in this little area behind the small Menke Park / Piccolo Pavilion area in Corte Madera. Hiding in plain sight as it were, there have always been salons of one stripe or another along the block, essentially a salon of salons. For a time I did find something here for myself, way back when vhs rental movies were a thing. This was in a fairly large retail space, almost like a separate little cottage at the far east end, around the corner and somewhat hidden from view from the parking lot. Ironic then that this is the very place I find myself going again today. Zonda Meats is the addition to this area that's especially timely now as grocers nearby are closed, and premium quality butcher shops almost nonexistent. I happened on Zonda the other day while biking down the little side street of Montecito that forms the east side of the small park. The owner in residence, Alberto Lataliste, is from Argentina but has been in the USA for many years. I worked in northern Argentina for more than a decade and developed a great appetite for the beef raised there, and the way cuts of meat often follow muscle groups rather than slicing through them as is done here. Alberto's focus on meat quality is to identify and import quality producers there and delivering without freezing or addition of preservative. The selection is extensive so you'll benefit from making your own quality comparisons. In addition to the meat counter, there are excellent sandwiches and in near future my own favorite, empanada. The sandwiches are very generous and outside is a pleasant courtyard with tables for lunch. I'm glad to see an assortment of imported preserved meat, and another favorite of mine, Dulce de Leche from Argentina, which is much superior to the few brands made here. So here's to a great reception for Zonda Meats, arriving just in time for summer grilling in my backyard parrilla.

I asked for a matcha latte, and no follow-up questions were asked--no hot or iced, no milk preference. I had to track the barista down myself to clarify. The drink itself was honestly terrible: extremely bitter, grassy, and undrinkable. I left most of it untouched. At nearly $10, it was also the most expensive (and worst) matcha I've ever had. The biggest issue, however, was how payment was handled. Their POS system was down, and I was asked to pay in cash. I didn't have cash, which is normal in 2026. Instead of apologizing or offering a solution, I was bluntly told to "sit down" and wait--despite explaining that I had a scheduled meeting and needed to leave. At one point, I was told the only way I could leave was by handing over my credit card information to be written down and kept behind the counter. That is completely inappropriate and unsecured, and I refused. The situation became uncomfortable enough that other customers visibly noticed, and at least one couple left because of how rudely staff were speaking to guests. Eventually, I had to call a friend to bring cash just to resolve a $10 charge, which still took unnecessary time due to confusion between staff. I fully understand that small businesses have bad days. Systems go down. Things happen. But hospitality is about how you handle those moments. There was no apology, no accommodation, and no respect for customers' time or boundaries. I hate leaving negative reviews for local businesses, but I cannot recommend this place in good faith--especially when there are nearby cafés that offer good service, functional systems, Wi-Fi, and basic courtesy.

Water and coffee quickly followed and I perused the menu. Diverse options and interesting creations. Recommended by my server, I went with the celery root potato pancakes. They were a revelation as was the whole experience. The homemade green hot sauce was available for personalizing your flavor profile....highly recommended! (I asked if I could buy some to take home.)Comfortable spot in the window, the vibe is quiet, confident, and welcoming. I don't think you could go wrong here. Hope you can try it soon.

My boyfriend's eggs were runny despite having asked for them to be scrambled hard. My niece didn't like her pancakes, and the group generally felt the food was bland. The service was also spotty. After remaking my boyfriend's eggs they forgot his toast. Then when the toast came they forgot the jam. The waitress didn't ask about drink refills, though she did refill my coffee. The ambiance was fine, but not the special holiday brunch spot we had imagined. Next time we'll find a different Larkspur restaurant.
