The food was ok here for $33.99 you got was what was expected at this price point. Unlimited sides and they're were over 20 to chose from. They even had dishes you don't normally see for a side dish. I dined here during their soft opening and I sat in a table facing the glass window and when it was turning sunset I was blinded like no other from the sun or felt annoying .the waiters are teens so they do a good job but not the greatest . the only others steak I've enjoyed from a k bbq place I've eaten is manas kbbq steak in San Marcos and it makes 2n1 steak look like a joke . The steak I got was smaller than my hand and my hand is small. I was surprised bc the price is no deal it's regular price for kbbq . Steak was Thin too I thought I had a picture to share guess I don't . The corn cheese was normal looks the same as manas but the cheese from manas is better in the pic I provided the corn cheese taste less soft than manas . I don't know if I would choose to come here again for the price . I don't enjoy being back to back to back People the seating is not spacious where I was. This is the best Korean BBQ I've been too, the food is amazing, and I have been to a lot of places before this. Manna who? Their beers/hazes on tap are really good. Really recommend the lemonade beer it tastes so good! Our sever was amazing, she was so nice & kind, she made us feel very comfortable dining in the restaurant. Our waitress was AWFUL. I don't remember her name but she is black. She never even came to check on us, it took forever to get an order in, and even when we asked for things like water and napkins, she would never bring it. We asked for forks in the first 20 minutes and never received them, even asking several more times. It's like she just was not paying attention to us. She also had an attitude that every time we asked for something, it was a total inconvenience to her. On top of everything else, she was even walking around the restaurant with a BABY in her arms, while we were waiting on her for service and water. Very inconsiderate and rude. I mean like you're on the clock, you're working, and yet you're walking right by us , with a baby, and ignoring us, even with as something as simple as water. Would not want to come back here. She should be fired for this service. Also she would (multiple times) bring the HOT grill over us and our heads while changing the grill, which is a huge safety issue and so scary. Update: After taking forever to get our orders in, she then tells us we have 20 minutes left and proceeds to rush us off of the table while we are eating and cooking, but mind you, we would've been done eating much faster if she had actually SERVED us faster. I really enjoyed my experience here and will be back! Thankfully they are just up the street from where I live. There was a very minimal wait for Friday night dinner service. The meat was fresh and sides were chef's kiss. They had the most variety of banchan (sides) I've ever had at any KBBQ place around SD. I'm a huge kimchi fan and theirs was bomb! Also, their portions were a great size! Not too much and not too little, which I appreciate because there can be lots of food waste at all you can it places. All of the servers were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was very clean! However, they kept a cart with a box of used grill plates in the middle of the section we were eating at. It wasn't too much of a disturbance to our dining experience, but I did wish they rolled the cart away. Overall, so happy we finally have a KBBQ place in Vista. read more

Where do I start... we needed a vista KBBQ spot real bad and I thought this place was going to compete with convoy and mira mesa kbbq spots but no... this place can easily compete with LA kbbq spots. Came here when they were doing their lunch special all-day as a promotion (on Instagram). The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive! I've been to several KBBQ spots, but this stands out. I really enjoyed the vibe and relaxed atmosphere as we never felt rushed. The food was fantastic, the sides were plentiful and tasted great! Since we were limited to the lunch special, we didn't have a huge variety of meats to choose from, but the bulgogi and pork belly options were still great. Can't wait to go again and try other meats! The food was pretty okay not the best thing I had but it was still good. The service is where I had the biggest issues, they were not the nicest and very rude. I go to a lot of restaurants and this was one of the worst service I ever had. I never received utensils for any of the food. It feels like the employees don't care about you and tries to rush you. Even if you finish all the food they still charge you $10 for not finishing it. For anyone who wants to try this restaurant out I hope you have better experience than we had. Korean Barbecue Enthusiast Here. This place is a solid spot however there were a few items I would touch up on to enhance the experience. Ended up choosing the 42$ menu. Meats were good but some were lacking in flavor and tenderness. Tables were small and often would get cluttered quickly. Grill vents were too low and would often interfere and cause hazard during grill change. I cant remember if the sides had translations or not on the menu. Not sure if fresh grills were oiled or not. I understand it is new and will have room for improvement. Other than that service was exceptional. Ambience was okay, felt too bright and modern for me as I go more for a traditional vibe. Pricing options are convenient but I wouldn't say they are an exceptional deal. I would rank this around upper mid tier on my tier list. read more

Of all the BBQ places I've been to, this one was the worst. 1. First of all, the service. We were served by a waitress who barely came to our table and didn't bring everything we ordered from the menu. Yet, at the end, she clearly expected a big tip. When she saw the $15 tip, she made it obvious she was unhappy. (Honestly, I was shocked -- what do you expect when you barely approach the table and answer menu questions so reluctantly?) I always leave a tip when the service is good, even if the food isn't great. And honestly, $15 for a table of four people when you barely check on us seems like a fair amount. 2. The food: 4 out of 10 and that's for the few things we actually got to try. 3. As for the atmosphere overall, I'll say it again this is the first BBQ place I'm pretty sure I won't be coming back to.
