Lataisha is THE worst server I have EVER had in my entire life. This woman is BEYOND rude and EXTREMELY money hungry. I understand you got bills to pay but let's calm down. Also charging us a fee for not eating TWO singular scraps of meat is beyond greedy. Directly sweeping on me and my family's feet is disgusting. I get you're trying to get off the clock and go home, but we are paying to be here and ALSO tipping you 18% which you didn't deserve at all. Staring at my husband signing and tipping you on the handheld device thing is rude. Went here for my birthday at around 8:45, basically service wasn't horrible she was nice but we were completely neglected by the waiters because they wanted to close an hour early, I get it. We were in the wrong for coming late but I thought they closed at 11. Not a single heads up before we were sat. Anyways got the last call about 15 minutes later at 9. I don't normally write reviews on establishments , but this is definitely one of the more upsetting experiences . The food was not bad but I think my experience wasn't the best because of my waitress. She was rushing my husband and I while we ate, and pushing us to get a more expensive menu after telling her we were seeking the regular dinner price. After that, her attitude was very unpleasant. And if I'm being honest, it made me not want to come back. I later found out my waitress name was Latica, maybe if I have gotten better costumer service I wouldn't hesitate coming back. read more

This place was great. Super yummy and for someone who doesn't eat beef or pork there were still so many options and the sides were delicious. Favs were definitely the cheesy corn (got 3 orders!), chicken bulgogi, spicy chicken, and kimchi fried rice but you must get the egg to mix into it! My hubs ate the meat and he loved it too! The service was also very attentive and fast. Could be a little friendlier to kids - it seemed like they were annoyed by us having the Doona at the table but we made it work. Horrible service from the girl chewing her gum obnoxiously. We were the only people waiting to be seated. There were so many tables available that she could have prepared. Instead she just stood there and waited for a waiter to set up the table. He was busy taking orders, she could have helped. A man in a blue shirt told her to help and she just ignored him. She could have stepped in to help if she saw that her team was busy. She could have at least told us they would get our tables ready. It was going to be our first time there. This is for the newly opening Vista Location: I want to start off with the one positive, the servers were very nice and did a good job. The ambiance was a big fat ZERO for me...the music that was playing sounded more like club music but what made me get up and ask for the manager was when the song explicitly described sexual acts in vulgar language...this is a family restaurant and I'm sorry, i don't want to hear that kind of garbage while I am eating. When I asked the manager if he was listening to the music, his reply was, "Do you want me to change it?" Again, this is a family restaurant, you should not be playing that type of music around children and I personally don't want to hear it. The also had a video playing showing various dishes being prepared and meats that were cooking but that was ruined by a clip of a guy shoveling some sort of rice dish into his mouth...I mean shoveling to the point some was falling out and back into the bowl and he could barely hold it in! Why? It grossed us both out. Now the food, we got the basic dinner. The Bulgogi, both pork and chicken were a disappointment. The pork had no onions, just very thin shaved meat in a mediocre marinade. The chicken was served in very thick pieces, the marinade was surface only...the chicken tasted good but not like Bulgogi. The Hawaiian Beef was very similar to the Bulgogi. The brisket was good, but nothing special. I am used to having lettuce to wrap my meats in but here the only thing was thin sliced, limp, radish...it was meh! There was only Siracha, some sauce for beef and salt. Not much flavor and I don't care for Siracha so that limited my choices even more. The dumplings were good, crispy and hot. The green onion salad was interesting, it had a sesame dressing, and I thought it went well with the meats to add some flavor. The sweet potato is a don't bother, after 30 minutes of cooking it basically was dry and starchy. The macaroni salad had a weird sweetness to it, like it had a lot of sugar added to what I think was mayonnaise. Don't get the Kimchee pancake...it was very thin, but so greasy I could have lubed my car with it...really not fit to eat. The needed more fresh vegetables, better seasoned marinaded meats, more choices for sauces and get rid of the raunchy music....I really don't think I will bother going back. Oceanside has some much better places for about the same price. read more

I have been to lots of Korean Bbq places and this was by far the worse that I have been to. We got the premium B package and most of the meats were full of fat. So fatty that I could barely eat them. There was a lot of gristle. They would not let you order from any menu, but that level, unless you changed and agreed to not eat from that level anymore, so for instance we paid for the premium, but we were not allowed to eat any of the regular meats on the premium grill, and the meat took so long to cook, because the temperature was so low that by the time it was time to actually clean off the grill and get a new grill. They told us that they were closing. Which was funny because they brought out meat to another table after they told us this. It was very sketchy. Our waitress was only so, so and it seemed like she really didn't know what was going on. Every other Korean barbecue place. I've been to always. Let's see order from the lower tier. The tier we paid for head, mainly steak on it. And we wanted to be able to get bulgogi nd fried chicken and the other things. But we're told we couldn't do that. Overall, the experience kind of sucked and it was not worth the price that we paid for it and we left there still hungry. I said go to Gyu-kaku instead. read more
