The employees are wonderful, everything is well organized, they have a great selection of books and gifts. I love checking out the clearance area for great deals to set aside for upcoming birthdays or secret Santa at Christmas time. Girl in the coffee shop, Laken, was so pleasant and informative. She helped me to renew my membership and we had a nice discussion on how great it is to still have such awesome bookstores. Absolutely recommend the Destin Barnes & Noble!

This location had a clear layout that was easy to navigate, and at least the back 1/4 of the store was dedicated to bargain books. I walked out of here with 5 hardcovers for less than $32 & was ecstatic! I wish there was a location closer to me in the Tampa Bay Area as I'm obsessed now

They don't have discounts. The price you see on the barcode on the back is the price you pay. Other than college textbooks I never pay full price for books. That's just not smart. The staff aren't friendly. No greeting or help when one walked right passed our family. For the part of my life that I did go to bookstores, everyone at bookstores were EXTREMELY NICE. Not this place though. If you need a book quick this is the place as it's well organized (but very small and dingy). However, if you can wait a few days save your money and order on Amazon. Or drive to Barnes and Noble in Destin. Barnes and Noble always has deals going and the prices are much more fair.

KUDOS to this shop for being in business since at least the late 80s! The store has a mom and pop…read morefeel. The products definitely vary in that they do not press a particular set of writers associated with particular denominations. That said, I've NEVER seen them array a product that deviates far from the basic tenants of Christianity. I shop this store before others whenever possible. Support your local businesses :)
