Very clean and organized location!! Great to get some decently priced beach books. Also the buyback service is decently fast.

Record Spottings: The Life Aquatic Movie Soundtrack, Khruangbin, The Shins, The XX, Tame Impala,…read moreSufjan Stevens & wayyyyy more Out of towners stumbled in day after Thanksgiving, which conveniently was Record Store Day & oh my jeez there were so many great records happening!!! This was the first record shop I've ever visited that had my contemporary jams on vinyl at the ready & I was just in hog heaven!! I'm new at the record game, having recently been feeling my experience of an album isn't full without the beautiful album art which is such a special part of the story that is only a tiny thumbnail when I listen on Spotify, so I now feel compelled to hold the album & really vibe with it! So anyway most record shops have amazing collections of older records, which makes sense because that's the way music was done back in the day, but I'm more of a modern woman at the moment wanting to slap my indie beats, so I'm so grateful for what Revolver Records is offering! They did have older records too, all in pristine condition! Really beautiful selection. Other notes: Connected to bar Magnolia & coffee shop Jitterbug that will be opening in 2-3 weeks. Got to have a taste of the craft beer being offered with the super nice owners. I believe I heard they'll be having trivia nights, comedy shows & live performances there, which would be super cool because it'd make for some smaller, intimate shows which I love!! Such a great spot! Highly recommend! All us St. Louis folk were so stoked & will be back when we come around again! Thank you!!

My wife and I joined friends for a day of visiting the shops, good food, the beach, and the…read moreambiance of 30A while we passed through Seaside, Florida. We even stopped by The Truman House nearby. As a huge fan of bookstores, when we passed by Sundog Books in the evening as our last stop before heading back to our hotel, I was impressed by a well organized and large (and fun) bookstore with so much to see. We didn't roam the second floor as we arrived shortly before closing but there is a record store on the upper floor. We did see apparel and gear for sell including sweatshirts, t-shirts, hoodies, tank tops, hats, mugs, bandanas, and tote bags. In scanning the various sections of the store, I quickly found some of my favorite fiction, historical fiction, and young adult fiction sections along with non-fiction favorites. I also found some new ideas of what I could read next, which I promptly added to my Goodreads account. I also enjoyed roaming the fun gift items, which were very creative but perfect for book loving visitors like me. Established more than 40 years ago by Bob and Linda White, the logo features their former dog Patty. The store was founded on individuality and a respect for independence though nowadays continues to focus on community. Check out their website at https://sundogbooks.com for online shopping, upcoming events, the Bookstore Buzz, and to learn about them. They give out their own Seaside Prize each year to a worthy author or authors. They also have multiple book signings in a typical week (listed on their event calendar). They are open from 9 AM to 8 PM year-round. While I love music and regret not seeing the second floor of records, I was very happy I made it to the store while it was still open. Now, if only I had enough room in my luggage for a number of books to buy while I passed through. Rather, I'll have to settle for online ordering from Sundog Books, which has some rather reasonable prices for a bookstore. I certainly recommend that visitors visit the bookstore and record shop!

The store is packed from floor to ceiling and wall to wall with books and gift items. I will stop in whenever I'm in the area for a vacation read. Be sure to check out the record store upstairs as well.
