I love coming here when I have some money to spare. My wife always finds lots of good deals. Can find excellent items every day of the week but Monday is the best day to go. They have sale tags that are 50% off on Thursday and Sunday. On Monday the tags are 50% & 33% on select colors. It is very fun to sort through on find the different hidden treasures. read more

The 2018 pricing stickers leave too much glue behind and damage the goods. Don't buy anything that has sticker front and center, like a book or paper or wood or metal. So just about anything with sticker prices. Disappointed. read more

This store has so many good things!When you look at the stuff,it doesn't look used,there are in very good condition.

Went there with mom to get clothes and even though there were some nice things, most clothing did not have a size on it. Everything is cheap but most employees have a nasty, rude attitude. Overall it ruined the entire experience for me. Don't think I'll be coming back here any time soon. read more

I like to shop at the Laurel and Columbia one. The only things I think need changing is 1) some of the prices are to high for a thrift store. 2) They separate the electric cords to item, you can not find the matching cords (cordless vacuums) 3) Doll houses, little tyke items they take all the people and furniture and sell them separate and you can not find the pieces to the items. 4) They have no control of children( was told by a manger they are not allow to say any thing) about children running around the store and making a mess. 5) Employees on floor can not speak English. read more

Undoubtedly one of my favorites... "2nd Avenue" in Columbia, MD!! There are so many great bargains. Take your time, stroll leisurely... 50% off (Sundays and Mondays). I am a FABULOUS 50ish Woman... the memories in this store are ENDLESS and AFFORDABLE! I found a pair of "barely" worn calf-high, camel-colored UGG boots for $24.00; retail new around $250+ (the Cashier was SHOCKED)!! haven't been there for awhile. I went back today and the prices are crazy high now. they want 5.90 for a paperback book. i can buy the book new for that price. they had a set of 4 smaller coke glasses that sell 2/$1.00 at dollar tree, they wanted 6.90 for the set. lines use to be long. there wasn't anyone in line buying stuff. The store is well organized compared to the other 2nd Ave store I've been to. The prices are also higher but if you have time to dig deep you'll find a steal. Compared to retail it's still worth the visit most of the time (I mainly shop for clothing new with tags or home décor). If you're a penny pinching weekly thrift shopper then I'd recommend putting a limit on this one (I do) as there are cheaper. read more

I was so impressed with how many quality items they had. They have a ton of stuff. Many name brand clothing items. Many things that I currently wear. Tons of shoes and boots. Oodles of the household. Well stocked. Probably 40 people in the store tonight on a Sunday night. Found some designer sandals and a dress barn dress but I swear I tried on last year and I didn't want to pay the price, tonight it was only $10. Always worth a try to go there to find what you need. Best thrift store I've ever been in: Clean, quiet, neat, large, and has many polite & helpful employees; more clothes than you could ever try on in 2-3 hours; and all hanging nicely according to color, size, and style. Beautiful clothes for career women or simply casual. Many of the best brands, also, in womens' clothing, and many prices cut in half on Sundays & Mondays. Also, tons of kitchen items, glassware, books, kids' toys & clothes, shoes, linens, bedding, mens' clothes, bikes, jewelry, baskets, collectibles, greeting cards, holiday decorations, religious items, memorabilia: you'll find it here! I am a thrift store addict and I absolutely love this thrift store. I have found a lot of great clothes, purses and boots and most of the items still had the original tags attached. The store is organized, clean and bright. The customer service in this store is excellent. The associates always ask if I need assistance finding items. I am always greeted with a smile at the checkout counter. Please keep up the great customer service. read more

I found this place to be clean organized and the prices are comparable to most of the thrift stores I've been to in the area. I found quite a few name brand items and even some unique housewares. My one chief complaint is during my checkout the cashier had absolutely no hustle. I'm not one to rush people but I have to say it rubbed me the wrong way that she chose to read the comics/headlines of the paper she was wrapping my items with while I was clearly struggling to keep my son from running off. Like the store but will probably stay with the Laurel location. read more

OMG !!!!!!!!!.. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this thrift shop -- I was in COlumbia, MD on business and happend to stop in on my lunch needless to say I was RIGHT back there when I finished for the day -- every day until the end of my assignment. I bought everything from cookbooks to cameos (found a baby BLUE one!)-- and the book selection was outstanding -- bought queen size sheet sets for less than 10.00!!! I love it and cant wait until IM back in that area again -- this store will be one of my first stops... read more

The place is huge and definitely organized. The selection is great too. There are so many shoes. i picked up a nice pair of ankle boots and a Liz Claiborne bag for work. My only issue with this place is the staff. I went to this place for the first time yesterday, and when I asked one of the staff members "is there a sale today?" all she did was point up at the monitor on the ceiling then walk away to chat with another employee. Also, the prices are a bit high for a secondhand store. read more

Not as good as their location in Laurel - less selection. Go on Mondays when most colors are discounted.

This store has a lot of space, and a lot of "stuff," but anything of value is way overpriced - I've seen better pricing at antique shops in the area. The Laurel store is not as big as this one, but the staff is so much nicer and friendlier. The staff at the Columbia store has attitude, and not good attitude! Get over yourself - you work in a thrift store. read more

I have been a customer of this store for over 20 years, and love it. They have a huge selection, and for the most part the prices are decent. Had some issues with some of the people who run the store, and even some of the higher ups, but I have no personal hard feelings against any individual. read more

This place is atrocious ! Everything is super price and smells really bad ! And the managers are very rude ! Never ever going there again !
