Ok, when you call someone like an Electrician, you're looking for someone you can trust. This is hard to do if you haven't called anyone before, and I know, because I've never called an Electrician before either. Anyway, Glen was an exception. The way I could tell was because when I called Glen (on a recent Sunday afternoon) for an emergency need, his first question was: "Tell me what your problem is right now" Not: "Today is a Sunday so there are afterhours fees." or Not: "There's a trip fee before I can head out there" If someone cares more about the fees than actually what the problems are, do it like me... hang up. And call someone else. For me, I happen to find Glen. He got to me in less than 45 minutes and was able to diagnose the problem in another 45 minutes. He did some tests, explained what the tests do, and diagnosed it "WITH" me. He asked me if the solutions were ok, and boom, fixed. Cannot get any better. Folks, he's a great gem. I ended up calling Glen when resetting the circuit breaker failed to work on my outside plugs. He did not charge anything to come out and diagnose the problem, which took all of about 10 minutes. I should add, other companies charged between $75 and $150 to "find" the problem. Glen arrived within 30 minutes of me calling him and had the problem diagnosed AND fixed within 45 minutes. We got a new Ring doorbell. It is supposed to be easy to hook up. However, we live in an older house, and the doorbell hasn't worked for years. I contacted the Ring company through online chat. They can set up somebody to install the Ring doorbell, but if you have any electrical problems, you've wasted your money because their installers can't fix electrical problems. That is where I called Glen. He was able to track down the problem to the doorbell and hookup the new Ring doorbell. Now answering the door from anywhere on my iPhone is great.
