Fantastic find of a place! Excellent BBQ and reasonable prices. Not a full service cocktail…read moreplace but drinks made with their spirits were good. The first thing is coming in you get that rustic lodge feeling from the woodwork and decor as you get hit with that smokehouse aroma. No better way to get you hungry and set the mood for BBQ. Just yum! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. She was attentive and checked in but never intrusive, hovering and did not ignore us once served. Tried a flight with Huckleberry, Berry, Cinnamon, Espresso and Walla Walla Sweet Onion (they "tree in" the espresso). Could take or leave the berries espresso and cinnamon were fantastic while the onion was interesting. Had a Bloody Mary with the onion and it was good. One table mate had the loaded potato with Mac and cheese and pulled pork. The noodles were bigger than skinny boxed and very tender. The cheese was creamy and flavorful and the pulled pork was tender and juicy and jam packed with flavor but could have been a bit more smoky. For the food: I got a small BBQ platter which came with 3-meat choices , a dinner roll and a single side choice. I chose baked beans for my side. Tri-tip, ribs and brisket for my meats. I tasted the beans nothing special but tasty. Same for the roll. The ribs were fall off the bone tender, juicy and meaty! I got three 3"-4" ribs. I also had a small pile of super thin sliced tender juicy and flavorful tri-tip and three 1/4-1/2" thick slices of brisket. The brisket was moist and had a good smoke flavor as well. I ate all the ribs, half the tri-tip and a slice of brisket. The rest went home with me as this was a hearty serving. To end our evening we were sent on our way with well wishes and thanks for patronage from our server and the bartender!

We finally made it into Cedar Rain Spirits in downtown Walla Walla, and I have to say -- this place…read moreis something special. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much pride and passion goes into everything they do. This isn't just a restaurant; it's a family pouring their heart into their craft. The backstory alone is inspiring -- from perfecting a coffee liqueur recipe years ago to building a full distillery and now a restaurant that's quickly becoming a local favorite. On our visit, we tried a little bit of everything: the legendary Texas Twinkies, hearty Loaded Baked Potatoes, the signature Cedar Rain Sandwich, and the savory Brisket Dip. Every bite tasted like it came from years of practice, care, and a true love of good food. And the drinks? Absolute perfection. The Peach Green Tea Cocktail was bright and refreshing, and the Lavender Lemonade Mocktail was every bit as crafted as a cocktail -- thoughtful, balanced, and locally inspired. What struck me most is how dedicated Cedar Rain is to being part of the Walla Walla community. They've built more than a menu -- they've built a gathering place that celebrates local flavors, family, and connection. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and go. Support local, eat well, and experience a family-run spot that truly honors its craft. this is a great restaurant to dine both food and serves. 三个人分别点了猪肉、牛肉和三文鱼,每一道菜都很好。点了两道前菜也是好看又好吃。read more

The ambience is modern and clean, but the restaurant is in a large space, and the tables are nice and spread out, so you don't feel like you are on top of one another. All the staff was super friendly, and one neat thing about this place is it has an open kitchen, so you can watch them cook and prep. Even with the open kitchen, the restaurant is not super loud over overwhelming. The food was amazing! It had unique dishes and and staple dishes so there is something for everyone. The appetizers were my favorite. We tried both the ahi nachos and the savory panna cotta with some pita. Both are must tries, but if you have to choose only one, get the panna cotta. The sweetness of the berries and honey with the saltiness of the cheese and pistachios is perfection. For my main I had the New York steak which was cooked great. I was in the mood for steak, and while my steak was delicious I definitely want to go back and try more of the entrees. Then for dessert, we had their take on a sticky toffee pudding and it was the perfect way to end meal. Salted Mill is a must try in Walla Walla.

All you wine snobs are ridiculous. Not that restaurants dont have bad nights or sometimes bad…read moreservice....but my wife and I LOVED the food. The presentation of the food was great and taste was even better. The K-Sammy is VERY messy but so delicious. Calamari was tender and the dipping sauce was incredible. Not gonna lie, the Pork Cheeks wasn't me or my wifes favorite. But it really wasn't bad. *Lesson of leaving a 5 star before you leave the restaurant....the service was..alright..we had our card out waiting for the check for honestly about 30min or so and it wasnt busy. Room for improvement. We still genuinely enjoyed our visit.

We were seated quickly and it wasn't too busy so we were able to get a booth seat. The inside was nice and the booth was comfy. I decided to try a few items from the happy hour menu. Got an IPA for $8. Started with the k-pop wings. They were delicious and juicy and had a great flavor, and I enjoyed the sauces it came with. Also got the lamb burger. Honestly pretty disappointed. It was pretty dry, with barely any sauces and the bread made it more dry so it was hard to eat. The lamb was pretty good but wasn't the best. I also wish it came with fries or something else as a side. Finally got the Bibimbap with tofu. It was beautifully plated and had a lot of toppings but the rice was inedible. It seems to be at least a day old, not fresh, and it was not warm at all. The rice made it hard for me to enjoy as that was majority of the dish. The tofu was pretty good but overall I wouldn't return here unless for the k-pop wings. After dropping off the bill our waitress didn't come back at all so we had to wait a long time to get checked out, even another waiter had to come in and check us out because he realized she didn't come back. Kinda disappointed :/
