Don't bother coming here, such a waste of time. I brought 3 bags of clothes/shoes to sell. I was the first person when the store opened and it took them 1 hour and 45 minutes. They said they were buying almost everything, but total only came out to about $42. I asked why so low. And one example of designer jeans that were in like new condition? they said they sell them for $9 so only gave is $1. Having browsed through their shop while waiting, I didn't see any jeans for $9. Most were closer to $100. For the clothes they said they didn't want, they said they would offer $0.01. Told them I'll keep all my stuff and go elsewhere. Ended up selling one item later for $40. I will never come here again. You are much better off going to Buffalo Exchange or another resell shop. read more

This place is absolutely insane. I've been here a couple of times to sell clothes. It's not that I need the cash--I'm always donating clothes anyway--but I figured I could make a bit here and there. The last time I came, I felt seriously lowballed, but I let it slide. This time, I brought in two bags of very nice items: Doc Martens, APLs, all up-to-date fashion. I had about seven pairs of shoes, and they offered me $42. I took it because I wasn't about to lug everything around and waste more time donating elsewhere. Then I looked around the store and saw used Nike shoes on sale for $130--shoes you can buy new for $150! The markup is insane, especially considering what they're paying for the clothes. From what I understand, this is a franchise from japan so their is a very minimal thrift section with Japanese section. More or less it the clothes seems to be from the local community. Everything seems to be well organize and they do have a variety. I don't think it has the best deals but it does have a wide selection. Also, many categories. read more

I bought 2 shirts and spent about $16 and I sold 18 ITEMS AND RECEIVED $10.20!?!!?! I had 2 items with tags on them as well. I understand it's a business but, when customer service is already lacking AND the fact I was told to wait an hour so I patiently waited because they did seem busy. Worst experience ever. Literally would rate this place less than one star if I could. On top of waiting over an hour to be seen by someone and sell my things (all current designer brands, excellent condition, some even with original tags attached), the service was absolutely awful. THEN, when I was finally called up, I was told that they were taking all of my items and that my "pieces were amazing" but they were only offering $1-$2 PER ITEM. Excuse me?!? $1 for current Agolde jeans selling for $298 on Revolve? With tags? Are these people complete idiots? For a bag full of current designer denim they offered me $32 total. I wish I seen the reviews as I had a very similar experience here. I had a bag of items that included band new pink Nikes, two Kate of spade purses and slides. I left a total 6 items they told me I will receive a call in 30 minutes so I went to Starbucks down the street. An hour later I decided to check in on the hold up. Total scam. I took in designer clothes and they were to call me about what I would get for them. Claimed they called me several times (no record on my phone), and when I finally called them to see what was going on, they had "donated" my clothes to a charity after 24 hours and no longer had them. When I questioned the assistant manager about this, she kept calling me "Sweetheart," adding insult to injury. Very sketchy business model. Absolute idiots and scammers. These people gave me 3.49 for a full laundry bag containing three pairs of shoes, a dress that originally retails for $200, and full of other clothes. I hear 3.49 on the phone, so I came back to pick up the leftovers assuming they only took one or two items from the bag. Nope! The laundry bag they returned me (Which, by the way, they 'misplaced' and could not find for EIGHTEEN goddamn minutes!) was almost entirely empty besides two shein items. $3.49 for three pairs of shoes they took from me, and an estimated 12 pieces of clothing. I asked and the blonde girl at the counter gave me a rude look and told me that I couldn't get any of the clothes they "bought" returned to me. Completely refused my complaints and asked me if it was my first time selling anything. Saying this place "bought" marc jacobs sneakers for 20 cents is laughable. They scammed me out of them entirely. And the kicker is, I came back frequently the following week and month and never saw the Marc Jacobs for sale. Never heard anything about them from any other employee I asked, even when I brought up the color, brand, and time I donated that bag. This blonde girl absolutely swiped them for herself and went out of her way to kill the conversation, glare at me, patronize me and invalidate my complaints. Now I know why she seemed to want me to leave as fast as possible that day. Stay far, far, FAR away from this place, they will just take advantage of you and waste your time/money. read more

Worst experience with any re-seller of clothing. When I arrived at this location to check out a new "hot spot" on second street the welcome was less than. The front clerk told me I would need to wait up to 45 minutes to evaluate my one bag of clothing. I told him I was surprised that it would take that long as it wasn't busy at all. He was snarky in remark and said most customers wait MUCH longer (up to 2 hours). I left my bag with him and went on to run other errands. Once I got the call to come back he said my entire bag of mid range designer clothing was a whopping $45. The items included never used Lululemon athletic wear, Revolve, Michael Kors and brand new Figs (the best scrubs available). I asked how the break down worked per item and the mark up that this location applies to each garment is OUTRAGEOUS. The seller will get a few dollars (if lucky) per item while the store marks up the item 60%-80%. I sell clothes on Poshmark, and FB market place all the time and understand the seller never gets the money they generally spend back. The frustrating thing is that the clerk that are helped me at this location was ignorant to clothing/cost and on top of that was very rude. His greeting and the way he treated me was very clear that he had "better things to do". I had high hopes for this location. The customer service was terrible and it was overall a giant waste of time. I'll be happy to put in the effort online and avoid having negative treatment from front of house staff. read more

They gave me 10 cents, yes CENTS, for several of my pieces. When I went back to the store a couple days later to see what they marked my items at, they were anywhere from $13-$30!! 10 cents to $30?! Wasn't busy on a weekend, and it just opened not long ago. I think if you've been to a Plato's closet, you should get the idea? Extremely marked up clothes, with hardly anything they offer you for bringing your own clothes in. I don't imagine they spend much on processing/cleaning if at all since I saw a few stained articles, so it's yea just for gouging on most articles. As another reply said, you'll be offered $1 and they'll sell your jeans for $30+. It should be said that similar to the death of middle class department stores, these 'higher end' thrift stores that are just in-person Depop vulture shops won't last much longer. I hope some wealthy Belmont y2k teenagers or hype beast collectors get a blast while they can, but for everyone else you're better off looking at vintage or real thrift elsewhere. This shop is one of the most fair and honest locations you'll find. They offer you fair prices, it's quick and easy. The customer service is amazing! They answered all questions about shopping and selling and were really transparent about their payout. I ended up finding a pair of Rick Owen's and a Issey Miyaki top after selling some pieces. They are scamming people who are trying to come in and sell their clothes and offering their favorite number $4 for an item and then ask if you want to donate the rest of your clothes so the workers can finesse your clothes for themselves. I waited two hours just to get offered $23 for at least $500 worth of clothing. The reason my shoes which were within the range of $80-$150 per pair were worth a whopping 75 cents back was because "their shoes aren't moving fast enough." I have attempted to shop and sell here three times and my experiences got worse with every visit. I had hoped that the selection of clothes would improve with time but no-the clothes on their racks are of poor quality, show too much wear for the price and are not organized to help the customer's search. If you're selling here, expect under trained employees to take excessive amounts of time (think 2 plus hours to look at your clothes) and then watch as that person chats with fellow employees, leans on the front counter seemingly doing nothing and wasting both your time and their employers. The employees who are not in charge of buying, are often roaming the floor in your way, sometimes actually purposefully getting in your way to organize a rack you're looking at and not acknowledging your existence or the fact that they obviously did not care that your shopping experience is now grossly impaired because of their need to slowly shift through clothes. Maybe if they did it while also trying to be helpful or not moping about looking bored (as they all seem to collectively do), it might not be so bad. But they do this every time and it's unnecessarily off putting. It's not often that I give poor reviews but I want to save others from this entirely mediocre and annoying experience. I bought a skirt with a faulty zipper at closing time when I was rushed (understandably so) and didn't get to try it on, but when I got home I did not even get the chance to try it on either because the zipper at the bottom slid of and was clearly old - I was so disappointed because I bought it for $30. I tried to return it the very next morning. The assistant manager lied that there was nothing she can do because "she just works here", when earlier in the conversation she said she allows some returns. She was smirking at me the whole time and giving me a very fake and rude "I'm sorry". The only time she looked me in the eyes was to smirk at me. She should really not be the assistant manager if she cannot handle confrontation politely. If something is broken, they should honor their online policy that they are supposed to quality control before having things on the shelf. On top of it all she told me to "go get the zipper fixed".
