    Turkey Bacon Wrap

Food was good, got the California omelet, the pancake and turkey wrap along with a Georgia smoothie. Service was slow, the food was worth the wait. The décor was cute, gray walls, nice light fixtures and dim lighting. The dressing for the salad was awesome. It was a green godness type salad(honey basil).

This place is... kinda strange? I went here to catch some breakfast on a Friday, one of the three days a week this place is open. I never knew it existed before I found it online. The reviews and photos looked phenomenal, so I figured I'd try it. I'm not going to say its a hole-in-the-wall type place, because it's not, it's like a vague step up from that. The decor is beautiful, but a bit dated. Think barn-house decor from 2015 dated. It was still beautiful nonetheless. What really got me was how echo-y it was in there and downright quiet. There was no music and I swear I could hear the guy across the room breathing. I was whispering to my boyfriend across from me. There was ONE girl working the floor. Half the tables were a mess, she didn't get around to us nearly at all, and the poor girl was running around. Half of me wanted to get up and help her out. She was bussing, servicing, hosting, and ringing a steady flow of customers up. I almost asked for an application! Okay, now for the strange part, and the reason I won't be coming back. Literally everyone knew everyone. The clientele that came in had familial relations, like, I'm sure every single one was either related to the owner or had been coming in for years. They were talking across the restaurant to the server, going in the back, and honestly a really good sign! It's only uncomfortable when you're the only customer in this place who doesn't know the cooks on a first-name basis. There's some more little things, like the fact we ordered a coke for 3 dollars and got a tiny can while expecting a free refill type deal, but honestly this review is getting long. All in all, the food took a long time, and they're really understaffed right now. I will say the food was so good it was worth the 45-50 minute wait, just provided you come in expecting that kind of wait time. It really just feels like they're doing everything they can to keep this ship afloat, so the biggest thing they need is music playing in the dine-in area and at least two more people on the floor for the rushes.

Not a huge fan of this place after my mom was raving about how good the food was when she went with my aunt here for breakfast. She told me when she went in the food was cooked to perfection, my experience was a lot worse. So for starters, this is a type of place where you have to look at huge menus up on a board and have to look around for a menu. You seat yourself and then you order at the counter. It is confusing as to whether they serve you or you go up for your food. When I am hungry, I don't wanna have to question what the heck I do next after I order my food. I checked in on Yelp and it said you receive a bagel at check-in, but when I mentioned it to the counterperson, she looked at me like I had ten heads and didn't know what I was talking about. I also asked about their early bird breakfast specials that my mom said they had before, and the woman had to go ask for the specials. My mom said I was just here last week and the specials started at 9 am. Again the counter person was confused and unsure of her own specials. She went to the back again and mumbled something to the woman in the back. We got approved for whatever the special was, but even with using the special discount, the food was super expensive! Just a warning! and we waited a very long time for our food, which made the experience even worse. There was no one else in there besides us and I had an antsy 6-year-old with me. When the food finally came, the girl served us, the food was all messed up and everything was either wrong or burnt, or overcooked. I just sucked it up cause we waited so long to eat and just left and never went back.

We tried this cute little cafe and found the menu to offer some out of the ordinary choices including fresh smoothies, açaí bowls and some interesting vegetarian/ vegan toasts along with the usual breakfast options. Fresh coffee choices too. Ambience is casual, and super clean with friendly wait staff. Owner had a nice friendly smile and said there are delivery options too. They offer lunch and dinner also! I recommend this unexpected unique cafe. Enjoy!!

Can't believe that our favorite brunch place is open for dinner. Went on a Friday. TIP: Call for a reservation so they know you're coming or they will close if no rez. They are only open on weekends. Our server was attentive, friendly and made us feel welcome. Everything we had was very fresh, creative and reasonably priced. The chef put a lot of care into the meal presentation and only offers a choice of 3 or 4 entrees. My husband had the chicken marsala- creamy, flavorful, and different than any marsala he's ever had. I had the curry salmon- little spice, light and great combo with the jasmine rice and spinach. We hardly ever get dessert, but the chocolate chip bread pudding with the candied bacon was too hard to resist. This place is also BYOB. Our new date night go to!

Grilled Pea on Rye - Green peas blended w/ oats, quinoa, spices & chickpeas. Served w/ spinach, tomato & goddess on grilled rye.

What a charming restaurant! I had heard about this place before but didn't realize it was so cute inside. It is very nicely decorated with a gray, rustic, elegant design. Food was excellent! My husband and I ordered the Avocado Grilled Cheese and Grilled Pea on Rye -- both were very well made and delicious. They came with side salads and a lovely honey basil vinaigrette. We also ordered a Belgian waffle, which was a real standout to me. It was fluffy, flavorful, and sweetened with a light pearl sugar crust. The only downfall was service. While the waitress was nice, she was so busy that it took ~50 minutes to get our food. Music was also odd and sporadic. Sometimes it was loud, other times it was just silent and every conversation echoed in the whole room. Overall, excellent food. Service was okay. As long as you don't mind a long wait and some awkward pauses in music, it's a lovely place with fabulous food.

My family has been going to 2nd Street Pike Grill for brunch and have found the food to be so delicious. Tonight we tried out dinner and found the quality of food to be just as good if not better. Our waitress was extremely sociable and nice. It was an extremely reasonable price. Not to mention the ambience was cozy and the music was delightful. My family will definitely be back. This place is a true hidden gem!

ICED CARAMEL MACCHIATO WAS VERY GOOD!

This place is a sleeper! Not sure how long they been there but WOW. Great food, great café style drinks and a very pleasant staff. Went there for first time because our usual breakfast was closed for the day. Have to say, wasn't expecting it to be this good. Will also say, the name doesn't match the food style or indoor decor. Not a big menu and thats a plus for me. I find places with huge menus don't specialize on anyone type of food type and general aren't good. For example, diners. What they have here is great and anyone can eat something on there menu. Definitely will be back in the future.

Second Street Pike Grill is a nicely laid out dining room with the look of gray marble on walls and table tops. The menu is oriented around fruit smoothies, breakfast and lunch. When I walked in the other day around 8:45 AM, I was the solitary customer and was told to sit anywhere. I did so at a table close to the front window after picking up their bifold menu at the counter. There was a large board on the back wall listing the smoothie possibilities. Not for nothing, I wondered why there were no fruit, nor blenders in sight. Maybe not the best way to market their signature product. So, I slid over to their more traditional breakfast options and Made My Own Sandwich of turkey bacon, cheddar and fried eggs on English muffin with side of home fries included. It arrived open faced about ten minutes later. It was okay, but could have been better @ $9. The bacon was thick, but lacked crispness. The eggs were fried to near dryness, where a bit of runny would have better integrated the elements. The potatoes were mealy and lacked the firmness of quality chunky morning spuds. On the other hand, the house coffee was very good. Service was friendly and informative. Access was fine throughout. 2 Street Pike Grill - Attractive with good ideas that fall short in execution. A more deft hand at the hot steel would help.

Crepes topped with fresh fruit, Nutella and whipped cream. They were absolutely delicious

This place is a hidden gem! The place is small but amiable with about 12 tables and a very friendly staff, it's warm and inviting when you walk in. I ordered the seared salmon and chose salad over home fries the salad was perfect with a delicious house made honey basil dressing. The dressing was light and refreshing. I also had the crepes. Let me tell you....they were perfect. Topped with fresh fruit, Nutella and whipped cream. This was the 3rd time I've ever had crepes and they were the best by far. The only qualms I have with this place is the fact that they are only open for brunch lol. I wish I could stop in on Tuesday morning when I'm off from work. Overall though, this place gets a 10/10 and I'll drive past many a place to come here and have brunch.

Everything bagel with pork roll, egg, and cheese with side of hash browns. Bland.
    Alyssa S.

I came here recently for brunch after discovering it on Yelp. I ordered an everything bagel with pork roll, egg, and cheese with a side of hash browns. The whole thing was bland. The bagel lacked seasoning and reminded me of a frozen bagel from the grocery store. I requested the hash browns well done and they were not. Pork roll was blah. It wasn't very crowded yet the food took forever to come out. Also, the 2 younger waitresses there looked apathetic, like they didn't want to be there. One was obviously more interested in chatting up the cook than working. The decor is cute though, so there's that.

    Annemarie J.

First time here and will definitely be back!! Quick service, delicious food, and they gave a little percentage off and coffee on the house for the holidays! Avocado toast was perfect - huge sandwich with smashed and seasoned avocado, perfectly fried eggs, fresh arugula and a delicate balsamic. Side salad dressing was amazing; garlicky, slightly sweet, creamy but not heavy. Coffee was great, and the coffee illustrations on the wall are awesome!! Will definitely return with friends and family!

Eggs Benedict, and omelette and scrambled eggs. Wow are these home fries amazing.
    William D.

Clearly the cook knows his stuff and cares about what he's putting out there. I went there on Mother's Day, they were slammed. The service was slow and that is why I took one star off. The food came out pretty fast for how busy they were and it was soooo good. I will definitely be back to this little gem of a place.

It just seamed like they threw in lime juice or mojito mixer and threw in 2 lime wedges and mint leaves and a lot of liquor. Limes were not muddled with the mint leaves and sugar like mojitos usually are. The lime juice or mixer they use did not taste good and it lacked sweetness. When we sent it back the bar tender became visible upset and appeared to be giving our server a very hard time. The returned mojito was also not removed from the bill. We then tried a margarita. It lacked sweetness and was very tart. We fixed it by asking for a little agave to add to it. Here's was the deal breaker for us. Thier lack of willingness to make minor adjustments or substitutions to anything even for a food allergy is absolutely unacceptable. For example: You won't be able to switch a side or ask for any adjustments to thier meals or cocktails. We asked about making a minor adjustment to a drink due to a food allergy. The drink was topped with a foam and we asked if we could leave out the foam. It would not have changed anything about how the drink was made aside from it simply not being topped with this foam. The answer was a hard no, the owners do not allow it. The manager came and talked to me. She was pleasant and I appreciated her taking the time to hear my feedback. However, it was very clear that I was wasting my breath because the owners are very particular and strict about not changing anything. It was not a good experience. We paid our bill, gave the server a good tip and took our business elsewhere.

We were pleasantly surprised to be offered menus upon arrival, which isn't typical for fast casual dining. While reviewing them, one of the team members shared a bit about DIG's history of growing their own food. Due to their expansion, they partnered with trusted vendors to maintain their commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients. My meal definitely proved they've made great choices. I chose to build my own bowl with salmon as the protein and sides of cucumber tomato salad, mac & cheese, and sweet potatoes. The staff was wonderful--they happily looked up ingredient details to answer my questions and even offered samples to help me decide. Such great service! The cucumber tomato salad was fresh, colorful, and visually beautiful. This is exactly what food should be. The garlic aioli was thick and full of flavor and made for a great dip. The char on the sweet potatoes was so good. The mac & cheese ended up being my favorite side. It was creamy, cheesy, and topped with the most satisfying crumble. The salmon (I chose the non- spicy option) was cooked to perfection with crispy skin and great flavor. As for drinks, DIG uses Boylan Bottling Co. for their fountain sodas instead of the typical Coke or Pepsi lineup. I'd never heard of Boylan before, but after trying their diet cola, I'm a fan--it's been around since 1891 for a reason! Overall, this was such a positive dining experience. I try to eat clean, wholesome foods, and DIG really delivers on that with fresh, beautiful ingredients and attentive service. If I'm in the Jenkintown area again, I'll definitely stop by--and I'm crossing my fingers they open a location closer to Bucks County soon!

Happy Hour with half price drinks was a good deal, and the bar food offerings were also well designed to complement the alcoholic drinks, if not all that tasty, nor compelling in their own right. With music playing in the background the experience was a mixed bag. Clearly, the plan is a bit over the top, and made for people with kids or those who like this glitterati experience. Yet, there was a full house that evening, and business was booming. Covid put an end to the crowds for the last year, but I suspect the club will be back in action full tilt come vaccinations and reduced mask wearing.
