Found myself at Groveland Grill after visiting some friends in the area. My friend grew up around here and highly recommended it for breakfast. It's your typical diner food in a no frills setting with great prices. There was a wait this particular Sunday morning (it's clearly a favorite among locals), but it went by quick. The coffee was solid and the breakfast platter with two eggs and meat was delicious. I opted for bacon but it also comes with a choice of bread or potato so I chose hash browns. I also got the side of grits which wasn't the greatest side of grits I've had but it was still good. I would definitely recommend this spot if you're in the area. I love this place!!! My family and I are constantly at this place for breakfast. The french toast and the eggs over easy are absolutely delicious and will always keep you full. Rarely a wait and the service is really fast. The waiters are always willing to strike up a conversation with you and they are extremely nice. It is very cozy and small in there which our family absolutely loves. Overall it is very good and a nice place and we look forward to coming every weekend!!! read more

Based on past reviews, I stopped here for lunch, sitting at the counter thinking I would get faster service. I ordered their daily soup and a pressed chicken melt. Asked if I wanted chips or fries, I replied fries. It took 15 minutes to get my soup. Good, hot, tasty, but a tiny portion of maybe 4 oz. It took another 20 minutes to get my sandwich and fries after watching the line cook through the propped open kitchen door ambling through many orders ahead of mine. My meal was soaked in enough oil that the fresh lettuce glistened. I was charged extra for the fries, not told when ordering. There were plenty of staff out front, maybe need more in the kitchen. I've had some very nice friendships with many of them. All except the present owner who has made some rude remarks to me. Great service. Excellent breakfast. I ordered poached eggs, sausage,potatoes and unlimited coffee refill. Finally found a place that was under $10 for a good breakfast. Limited parking but there is a spot generally open. Take credit cards. Inside table seating plus the counter. My family and I ate breakfast here over the weekend. It was halfway between the Crayola factory and our house, so was a good place to stop. We really enjoyed the food. My husband was surprised to see scrapple Benedict on the menu. He really liked it! I got the sausage gravy over biscuits that comes with eggs and hash browns and my two kids got kids menu items. The Groveland Grill on RT. 611 in Pipersville ,PA, is a small roadside kitchen specializing in breakfast and lunch. It sits in a small commercial strip and is easy to miss if driving at normal speeds. I actually had to turn around and go back to it as I went north and didn't spy it until I was passed the driveway into their parking lot. The house is clean, with about ten tables and a counter with seven stools. The folks working there are very friendly, and welcomed this first timer with warm greetings. I took a seat at the counter across from the Bunn O Matic where Ellis coffee was being brewed. There was a dark blue ceramic mug with side stainless of milk in front of me in seconds, and a two page breakfast menu placed before me before I reached the counter. These people were on their game. There was a list of omelettes, benedicts, pancakes/French toast, and combo platters, but I decided on a standard breakfast sandwich of sausage, egg and cheese on kaiser. The side of home fries with grilled pepper and onion bits was also too tempting to pass up. The sammy was doubled up, making for a fat and filling meal in its own right. The taters were alright, but despite the flavor from the sauteed onion/pepper, the tubers themselves were a bit dry like they had been sitting on the corner of the grill too long. Maybe my arrival at 10:00 had some to do with that, but a word to the wise... Loved the Ellis java, which was refilled as often as I desired. We used to love this place and go almost every weekend. They were pleasant and always had a smile on their face. Since the take over, I've been more disappointed than not. Today I called and was welcome with a "hello?" And laughter. My Gregory was burnt, not sliced and melted a hole in the take out box. The kids taco hot dog is actually just a bland hot dog. Again, another establishment I went to for the first time in the pandemic. I got takeout here when that was all that was allowed and I also got to dine in. The takeout was packaged well and all the staff was great ! I didn't like what I ordered but that was my own fault. We went here because they had Ellis coffee which is my moms favorite ! I had their cold brew and it was good but I wish I had gotten in flavored. I went back to dine in as it was a stop to our final destination and it was SO good! My family and my friend we all got sandwiches which were really good ! I got the turkey Rachel which is probably one of my favorite sandwiches to get out and this did not disappoint. I just want to say that I've only ordered and picked up from this place but I've gotten the Eggs Benedict several times and it's perfect even reheated a little after the drive home. It has a little kick to it which I really enjoy! The eggs are always cooked just right! I'm VERY picky about hollandaise sauce and theirs is honestly the closest to perfect in my opinion. The potatoes/hash browns are crispy and delicious. Not too salty and just the perfect pinch of pepper. I've seen indoors and it's a cute place! Yesterday our area had massive power losses and I literally had 3 places go down when I entered for a meal. I just happened to come upon the Groveland Grill and saw their OPEN sign and am really glad I did. I would have been happy to get anything warm but I got so much more! First, the place looks like nothing outside and you can easily drive right by it. Second, its pretty small. The place was really hopping when I entered and there was a wait for tables but I was happy to sit at the counter. Service was really quick and although it looked like they were stacked with help they all worked in unison really well and I got in, ordered and was out quickly which is what I needed. The entire place was spotlessly clean I ordered a Greek Omelete which was excellent with great crusty, oniony homefries and the coffee was endless and my mug was always more then half full. I found this gem by internet search seeking caterers for a kids/parents get together. We wanted to try something different by having breakfast for dinner. Groveland Grill did not disappoint! Everyone raved over the meal and the price was AWESOME! Other local places quoted no less than $15 per person, they were half that. It was a great meal and everyone loved the crispy bacon and seasoned home fries. When I picked everything up that day, I met the owner and staff and everyone was so nice, full of "southern hospitality."
