Stopped in for a quick late breakfast today. The menu is pretty extensive and has typical diner fare. My husband ordered Oreo pancakes and I ordered eggs and toast with hashbrowns. The food was fine. He liked his more than I liked mine - my eggs were tasty but the hashbrowns lacked any flavor. Service was just OK. Our server wasn't especially pleasant. I'd stop in again for another try but won't be in a rush to do so. Lots of great breakfast and brunch places around instead. read more

Since I've moved to the area, I've been coming here anywhere from twice to a handful a times a month. The service is always pleasant and being an occasional regular they always remember what I get and drink and only leave a menu In the case of me maybe getting something else. The breakfast is amazing and it's my go too. As a morning person I go for those things but even the dinner specials in the evening are great. There aren't many diners left around that feel "like home" or give you the feeling that they used to. This one does. Give it a shot. The prices are amazing. The people are great. Convenient spot for a satisfying dining experience. Stopped in recently as I was finishing up the work day in the area and traffic was moving nowhere fast, so decide to grab a bite to eat. It had some great reviews on Google so it fit was I was aiming for. Their ambiance is reminiscent of a classic diner, with a spacious layout featuring a mix of table and chair setups on the left and cozy booth-style seating on the right. It was fairly quiet with a handful of customers and possibly just one staff & one kitchen person around the 5:30pm hour, so plenty of parking. I was peckish so I went for their Big Boy Burger which sounded good & was served on a fluffy Kaiser roll. While I had ordered my burger to be cooked "medium rare," unfortunately, there was no pink in sight. However, the burger wasn't overcooked either, so it wasn't a complete disappointment. The flavor was still there, and the patty remained juicy enough to satisfy my cravings but I had turned down ketchup at the table thinking I wouldn't need it and in hindsight, I would have added some. Accompanying my burger was a side of crispy fries that hit the mark. The price was fair and certainly a good spot for those who prefer a more casual dining experience. It's worth noting that they allow BYOB, so something to plan for if you're doing dinner or event brunch mimosas with their breakfast menu. Considering its location and proximity to my workplace, I can easily see myself returning. While there were some minor hiccups with the burger preparation, the overall experience was still enjoyable, and I'm eager to explore more of their menu in the future. read more

I'm sure they are good at breakfast- most of the positive reviews are from that. I stopped by in the afternoon and had the broiled stuffed flounder. I sat in the far room- service was below average and other food was okay at best and very BASIC. Like another comment I read- a lot of regular customers who I guess don't ask or want much for the sake of convenience or routine were dining here. With Carmela's a few doors away there's little chance of me coming back here again. read more

Was looking for a place to eat last Saturday, we found Miss Philly Grill. I am so glad we did. Both of us ordered Greek Style Quesadillias. It was excellent, very favorable, the best we ever ate. Time to upgrade Ms. Philly Grill after a return breakfast visit this week. The place looks about the same as when last here several years ago. Still clean and full of red and white leatherette booths with chrome around the trim. This time staff was more attentive, bringing orders from the kitchen promptly and offering to refill the coffee mug as they passed around the dining room. My Hercules Omelet was a three egger variant of a Greek, but with Gyro meat (beef/lamb) in place of sausage, and spinach, onion, tomato and feta. Large half plate of home fries alongside. I liked it a lot, especially with a squirt of hot sauce all around. Coffee was strong, too, with the requested milk rather than creamers. It is quite possible that the same regulars I saw last time where still hanging out. My server looked like the woman who helped me before. She seemed to take a proprietary interest in the operation. Glad I returned and was able to write a more positive review. It also provides me with another good joint to eat when in the vicinity. read more

So my friend and I called this morning and wanted to place a delivery order for our lunch. There were some issues with the woman being able to hear us at first but my friend asked for a cheese steak and I jumped on the call and asked for a breakfast platter. We told the girl the time that we needed our food which was for 12:15. The driver arrived 15 minutes later then the time we asked for. They are only 10 mins away from our job so this started off poorly. Then the driver hands the food to my friend and my friends hands him $30 thinking he had his steak sandwich included so a nice tip if you include the breakfast platter after. My friend gets inside and realizes they never gave him his steak sandwich and that the bill only came out to $12.13. So he calls the place and they proceed to make excuses about their phone and also that it was not on the receipt. Come to find out the manager Theodora took our order and she never added his food to the order. We then asked for a refund for his food since his lunch was gonna be over soon. He paid cash so it took them more then 45 mins to refund his money. I never like to give bad reviews and my history shows that from previous posts. The communication and service earned this review and we suggest not ordering for delivery from them based on our experience. read more

I have come here years ago when they first opened and I remembered the food tasting a lot better. The interior looks a lot newer compared to when they originally opened. They have new seats, booths, tables, and flooring, all shiny and new, but as much as I was digging the new interior, the service and the food just didn't match up. We didn't even get seated when we entered, and were unsure whether to seat ourselves or not, so after standing at the front door for like 5 minutes, we just decided to just find an empty booth and sit at it. Once we were seated, the employees did come over and clean the table, because it was dirty, and gave us menus, which was cool, but when it comes to service, she was talking to the other waitress more than she was checking on me and my niece who needed refills. We ordered quickly and the food came out quickly but the waitress never checked on us. She basically was checking everyone else around us,but never checked on us. I would've ordered dessert, but she never asked us, and I was already upset that we were waiting so long for her to come over and she never did. I had to flag down another waitress to help us, we just wanted some iced water. When it comes to the food, it was just eh. I have had so much better diner food so compared to other places it wasn't the greatest. Ended up getting the weekly special if you come before 11am. Home fries, 2 eggs, and toast. My niece got the 2 eggs, home fries, toast and a meat (scrapple). The portion size wasn't like other diners, so there weren't leftovers which was surprising, and when it came to the eggs, they were just okay, the home fries were supposed to be well done but weren't and they had a funny taste. A cute little diner with a huge menu, our waitress was pleasant and friendly as she showed us the way to our little red booth and took our order. The pictures on the wall were fun and interesting to look at while waiting for our order ~ which didn't take long at all to arrive. Typical diner food that was done as ordered ~ the pancakes, creamed chip beef were satisfactory and plentiful. It seemed to be a popular spot with most of the tables/booths filled on a Tuesday, mid morning. I am curious though about all the Three Stooges photographs adorning the walls....it has me wondering if there is a good story behind this. read more

Drive by here frequently so today I took a chance on this place and I am very happy I did. Arrived around 11:30am. When we walked in, a woman behind the counter acknowledged us and told us to have a seat anywhere. Literally within minutes, our waitress came over and handed us menus. I heard the table next to us call her Nikki. She was fast, friendly and efficient! Coffees were brought over and she kept coming by to see if we needed to be topped off with more coffee or extra creamers. When she came over to take our order, I asked if the Hercules omelette had meat in it. She told me it did but then gave me a recommendation for an omelette without meat in it. How nice! I ended up getting the Hercules omelette anyway after she confirmed they could definitely make it without adding meat to it. My boyfriend got the country omelette. Omelettes came with choice of toast and a side of home fries. The booth were were sitting in was a little smaller than a typical 4 person booth. There was a different waitress cleaning off a bigger booth nearby and she looked over and said, "Are you guys okay sitting there?". I think she was getting ready to offer us the bigger booth but we said we were fine. I thought it was sweet of her to ask if we were comfortable. Besides the phenomenal service, I was very pleased with the portions and the pricing of Miss Philly Grill. Both omelettes were loaded with their specified ingredients and tasted great. I can not count how many times I have driven by this place and never thought twice about trying it. Until my friend said "lets go get breakfast" and she mentioned this place, so I said "yes," I an always up for something new. It is not a huge diner by any means but there was plenty of seats and they let you seat yourself. There is a small counter bar you can also choose to sit at. I love that its mostly booths with a few tables. The decor is simple 60's style, with a lot of red, black & white. We were greeted right away with menus once we choose our booth. They do have a cheaper special menu until 11, breakfast is served all day. I decided to order the fiesta omelette, which came with olives, cheese, green peppers & tomatoes, a side of home fries and your choice of toast. I really enjoyed my omelette, however I wish there were more black olives, there were only two in mine. The serve was on the slower side, there were only two for breakfast but there were only 3 other tables occupied. I told my hubby about it and we went back to try their lunch menu, I was pleasantly surprised by the quesadilla options. I was boring and got the plain cheese quesadilla it came with diced tomatoes and onions. It was cooked perfectly, the tortilla was nice and crispy and the cheese was all melted, however the onions were raw and not sautéed which was a bummer. I would definitely order this again without the onions or ask for them to be cooked. Hubby order the meat breakfast that came with breakfast sausage, ham, bacon and scrapple. He really enjoyed it and said the ham was as good as a heavenly ham. The service was on the slower side and Im wondering if thats just their style there. The place looks like a diner when you first walk in, but in reality, it is a local place that caters to a steady stream of regulars. You can't help but fall into the early morning exchanges between the staff and the customers. As they go over their plans for the upcoming weekend or their plans for the current day. Which of course leads to getting involved in a friendly conversation with the table right next to you. When I walked in I was surprised by all the seating room. If you are going to sit to the left when you walk in, let the lady know to the right that you are there for something to eat, because if not you might be sitting for awile before being recognized. Better off sitting by the counter where the coffee and food is being made. They have a menu for just breakfast, and it's filled with so much to choose from. And the prices are surprisingly cheap. And they have a separate menu for lunch time. I got the ham and egg breakfast wrap with home fries. Everything was good. So was the coffee. I was just alittle disappointed in the service could have been better, but I won't let that take away from me coming back to get another bite to eat. This place has alot going for them. Sandwiched between State Farm and Allstate the stainless steel dineresque facade screams out "I'm here" Greeted as soon as we entered. Our drink orders taken immediately. We sat at a cozy booth in a blue and white tiled room scattered with 3 stooges memorabilia. The place could use a good wiping down as dust has settled along the windowsills and decor. We decided on the mixed grill and the Fernando skillet both plates came out quickly, hot and overflowing. The food was tasty although the home fries could use some work. Miserable workers, and a completely screwed up order. Our waitress returned to our table to go over our order because "I can't even read my own writing". Was then served runny eggs after ordering them up and well done which then promptly ruined my appetite. Oh, and getting and onions in my potatoes after telling the waitress I wanted neither didn't help. I ordered orange juice and had it served in a glass with ice. Which appeared to me a cost saver. We ordered shepherds pie and turkey with stuffing gravy and mash potatoes. Both came with salad. The salad had bell peppers which I am allergic to. They took them off and brought them back boxed? They thought we wanted them to go? Then the main food arrived. It was both microwaved. . The shepherds pie had cheese on it? And bell peppers and then it was microwaved. the turkey was deli turkey on reheated stuffing so it was soggy then topped with gravy and then microwaved. My mashed potatoes were microwaved. Gross. You don't make cold versions of food then microwave them later. You can tell. And I can do that at home! Yucky. So go there for breakfast not for dinner. read more

Two weeks in a row. I only go to outside seating at this time, and because I seem to be getting there around two it's not crowded. I have gotten the onion soup one week and the chicken orozco the next. Both I found very tasty. I always love their soup. Last week I had the BLT ( the waitress favorite) and was just right. The bacon was good, cooked the way I like it. This week I ordered a salad with chicken,ham, bacon, black olives, onions, tomatoes, and as soon as it was brought out I asked for a to go container. It was packed full and fresh. We waited a little longer this week and I think it was because they cook the chicken and bacon. Either way I have no complaints. This small dinner/sandwich shop is a good standby for a very reasonable meal with good food and generous portions. During these Covid times, the good news is that there is plentiful outdoor dining. The very bad news is that the staff, from owner to waitresses, do not follow mask usage protocols. The waitress debated with me and other guests her disdain for the mandatory health measures. She did not "believe in living in fear". The owner did not even make a pretense of wearing a mask while patrolling behind the counter. That is enough to take this restaurant off of my list for the indefinite future. read more

Fresh crisp lettuce, loaded with veggies and thinly sliced marinated chicken breast and served in a flash fried tortilla shell.
