4.5 stars. party of 12 on Father's Day, late teens to grandparents. service is always excellent. decor is tasteful and lovely ambiance is cheerful, family friendly with well behaved young kids at nearby tables. no free range toddlers. the cocktail and wine drinkers were happy with their choices. popovers are always a hit. everyone enjoyed their mains. carrot cake, my fav desert, was really tasty and large enough to enjoy at home over the next 2 days. my only negative is that my favorite crab cakes were served with a boatload of tater tots. the tots were really tasty but they didn't give much taste or texture variance paired with the crab. the side catsup fought with the tartar sauce for the crab. that's partly on me, because I should have asked for an alternate vegetable. I shared the abundance with the table and they weren't wasted. the tots would make a good appetizer, esp if there are teens or younger kids at the table. read more

Last night, 10 of us celebrated my belated birthday at Nico's, and we had a wonderful experience! The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely amazing. The menu has a Mediterranean flair, and everything we ordered was delicious. The bread is truly to die for! The wine list was also very reasonably priced--we paid around $35 per bottle, which was a great value. My only complaint is that the restaurant was extremely noisy. It was completely full, and it was difficult for our group to hear one another during dinner. Other than the noise level, everything was fantastic. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it! read more

Food is great! I ordered filet mignon and tuna tartare and a glass of super Tuscan wine. Loved everything. Ambiance wise, I would change paintings into something hand drawn though. And I would put less of them because they are a bit overwhelming. read more

We visited Niko's for the first time last Saturday evening and had a terrific meal. This is restaurant that is perfect for date night and the ambience is a cut above other area restaurants. Food was very, very good and the service was professional without being overbearing. Would highly recommend the mezze board for an app and the shrimp cocktail. My lamb chops were perfectly cooked and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his salmon. The wines by the glass list was thoughtfully chosen - something you don't often find in restaurants today. Highly recommend the Black Stallion Cabernet. I gave Niko's 4 stars because the front reception definitely needs some polish. The 2 young girls sitting at the reception desk did not greet one guest that approached them and looked like they just fell out of bed. One was literally in work out clothing (including a runner's type headband) and the other couldn't have been more disinterested when we approached the desk. I think given that entrees run from high 30's to $70 guests are going to expect a proper greeting. My only other suggestion is that someone should move that trash dumpster that greets you when you pull into the parking lot. Bad first impression although as noted above we did enjoy the restaurant. read more

We've been to Nikos several times. Bar seating is our favorite spot. Their bar glasses are perfect and pair with their craft cocktails beautifully. Once you've had their complimentary pop-overs you might go back just for them!! While we love the bar, don't overlook their dining room and also consider their smaller room for a private party or function. Everything came out fresh and hot. + The best dishes to me that meal were Shrimp Cocktail and Roasted Lamb Chops. The shrimps are fresh and big, they went very nicely with the sauce and lemon. My lamb was cooked perfectly like I expected with nice seasoning. + Branzino, crab pasta, and steak were just okay. They weren't impressive to me. Crispy cauliflower was mid. ~$300 for a whole meal, we unfortunately skipped the desserts that night but they did sound delicious. We've been to Nikos twice now, and I've enjoyed the experience both times. My husband ordered the chicken parm on our last visit, which he loved. I previously ordered the Nikos Burger, which was also excellent. This time, I ordered a salad with beets and pistachios, which was a little overdressed, but the flavors were great. Their desserts are all made in house, and we really enjoyed the rice pudding! The bar had a nice, lively atmosphere without being too loud, so we usually enjoy sitting there. THIS PLACE IS A HOT MESS! I have trauma from eating here. I ordered a steak medium well, and both times it was overcooked to the point of the steak coming out with black char on it. Also there was a bug in my drink. Hi bug! But please don't be in my diet coke. I love bugs, just not in my beverage... To add on, the manager was really nasty to my waiter who just was working as hard as she could. Its not nice to see someone get treated like that, especially a teen CHILD! Having been to Niko's for dinner and really enjoying ourselves, we thought enough of the staff to entrust them with our son's post-wedding brunch. That was a brilliant choice on our part because Niko's put on a private brunch that was fabulous. First and foremost, the service was perfect. And the food itself was amazing! We had 50 guests that were coming and going and they did a fabulous job keeping the buffett fresh and delicious. They also prepared a number of specialty cocktails that were fantastic. I cannot recommend Nikos more highly. For dinner they are consistently on point and for private events like ours, they impressed each and every one of our guests. read more

Food was very good with a nice menu selection. Our cutlery was taken after appetizers and when our entrees were delivered to the table they were not replaced. We had to wait till we could signal our waitress that we needed cutlery. Food and deserts were delicious. My biggest concern was the loudness in all the rooms. It was as loud as a sports bar, not what I would expect in a fine dining restaurant. I would try it again, but if overly loud would just have appetizers and leave. read more

Came here with family to celebrate my birthday. I will say the food was fantastic!! I had the Spaghetti Zucchini. It was delicious!! Everyone enjoyed the meal. Service was wonderful. My biggest complaint and it will prevent me from coming back is we sat in the bar area and it was so so loud!! I could not have a normal conversation. I was so sad. They do have a back room which I could only guess was quieter. So check that out if you go there. I recommend this restaurant just don't sit in the bar if you want to have a conversation. I want to give a 4.5 but if I was going to lean one way it was to the 5. Food was spot on. Very much enjoyed everything. Chicken portion was quite large and filling while also being really juicy and not overly salty. Wedge salad was good. I could recommend them using bigger chunks of bacon but nevertheless, was good. Very cold and crisp. Seafood platter - the shrimp were good sized and perfectly cooked. Crab pasta and also had the short rib pasta - both were good. The Short rib pasta could be a touch larger - plenty of short rib but may be a little bit more pasta. Very tasty. read more

Had a reservation this past weekend. We were seated between two large parties with toddlers and babies at 7:30 at night. Plenty of other tables but we could not be moved! We did not have children with us and yes they were crying and miserable. So much for a start of our adult meal. Got menus and our server, I will not name, disappeared for over a half hour, took our drinks and it was another 20 minutes. We were thinking of leaving. The food was good, menu lacks a great selection. I don't think we will be back when there are so many other good places in the area. Just not worth it. Perhaps ask if you don't mind sitting near families with small children. Next time I will walk out. Way too many tables were open! read more

The service decor and food was great. The bread was fresh warm and delicious I had a breaded chicken salad pretty filling. My son had spaghetti and meatballs- the chicken meatballs were delish! And my husband had a pasta with short ribs yummy yummy! I had a fig drink good but not as strong as I'd like . The desert was cheesecake with strawberry compote on top -happy ending! From start to finish, the staff and Patty were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make the day feel so special and stress-free. For starters, the place is very nice inside. But that's the best I can say about it. A party of 6 , we waited 24 minutes from the time we ordered drinks to the time they arrived at the table. Rediculous. The portions are small and the prices are high. Don't order any dish with red sauce, it tastes like Ragu. We ordered a second drink which came at the same time as our bill. I am "walking the walk walk of shame" this morning bc I ate the entire huge burger and every last fry on my plate. I knew I would hate myself in the morning...however...it was worth it since it was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time and cooked exactly as requested. All four of us ordered the burger and we all enjoyed. (They took their leftovers home). Thought Nikos had a "happy hour"...to our surprise they didn't. (Darn). Still the four of us decided to take a table in the bar area. Ordered a round of drinks. Hubby's Scotch was a horrible pour...large square ice cube with maybe 2 tablespoons of house scotch. Charged $16 for it. We were all very disappointed with that. Hubby mentioned it to our server but nothing was done about it. It was the worst pour he has ever had of his "go to drink." Thursday night and the restaurant was hopping. Everyone was nice enough but I felt as though this privately held restaurant's emoloyees could have been more engaging, personable or outgoing which would enhance the charm of this place. My bridal shower was recently held at Niko's and it was absolutely fabulous. The space was bright, airy and clean. The staff was attentive and friendly. And most importantly, the food was superb. Everything was homemade including the pasta. All of the guests raved about the food and I would return in a heartbeat. Of note, the caesar salad and lasagna were delicious. I am not a cake eater but the cake made by Niko's was unreal! I also am not a mimosa drinker but those were delicious. Particularly the peach mimosa. I loved my meal and our waitress was great, however I was a little off put by the hostess. My husband and I are a little on the larger side. When we walked into the restaurant the hostess looked us up and down and immediately told us she was moving our table to a larger space. She said we'd be more comfortable at the larger table. I couldn't help but question if she was judging us by our collective size as the restaurant was half empty. Despite that incident, the rest of our meal was wonderful. We came here for our anniversary and splurged a bit. I had the Aphrodite martini. It was a bit tart, however had an outstanding raspberry taste. We had the arnancini balls for an appetizer. They came out crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside topped with Parmesan cheese. I ordered the short rib pasta. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the short ribs perfectly topped the dish. My husband has the lasagna. It was amazing. I am not a fan of meant in lasagna, but I would come back time and time again for this lasagna. Lastly, because we came for our anniversary, we were given a complimentary dessert. We chose the banana creme brûlée. I thought the bananas with the brûlée were delicious. It's almost like a banana's foster. My husband really liked the crème, I thought it was just fair. Went here for brunch to celebrate the 85th birthday of a dear friend of the family and everything was fantastic! We were a group of 12 (mostly older women) and the wait staff and bartenders were extremely patient, courteous and professional. A friend told me about this place and it did not disappoint. The server was great right off the bat. She was friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu from the drinks to the desserts. She suggested the Fig drink. Goid choice, it was tequila, ginger beer with fresh figs in it. Yum. She said I will bring you out some bread. We'll, it turns out they fresh, hot popover right from the oven. They were flaky, crispy and buttery. From there it only got better. The arincini were cheesy, crispy and packed full of flavor in a cacio e pepe sauce. They have a ravioli special, today it was shortrib and ricotta stuffed raviolis with crispy fried green onions on top. I had the crab spaghetti in a creamy, lemon sauce with cherry tomatoes. Both entrees were just wow. To end, we had the homemade rice pudding and carrotcake with chocolate chips, not raisins. All desserts are made in house. Both desserts were fantastic. This is not my first time at Niko's. It a beautiful hidden gem in Yardley, PA. Recently I worked with one of their owners Patrica (Patty) Mastoris (former owners of Mastoris in Bordentown). If you're not familiar with the famous historical restaurant, google it. I reached out to Patty a few weeks ago about having a brunch for a post celebration b-day party for my husband. We were hosting guest from a party the night before and wanted to continue the gathering with a brunch. I picked Niko's because of the food and the atmosphere. It has a parking area that is close to and convenient for our elderly guests. When we arrived, our party of 12 was escorted to the back of the room with a beautiful view of the outside. We had a mimosa bar set up which I coordinated with Patty. Once seated our waitress came over to see if there were other beverages we may want (water, soda, etc.). We then were presented with their famous cinnamon pop-overs for the table (again coordinated with Patty). These pop-over are a light and airy dough covered with just enough cinnamon. Yum. There brunch menu is not too extensive, but it worked for our party of 12 in which are an array of picky eaters. For our mains, the table had french toast, gyros, omelets, and pancakes. Our sides were sausage, bacon and potatoes. Everything was delightful, delicious, and delectable. The wait staff (apologies forget their names) was attentive, pleasant and continued to check on us through our dining. While we were dining, Patty's husband Nick came over to greet us. We talked about our experiences dining at their Mastoris restaurant as kids. At some point Patty came over as well. A great conversation with wonderful people. What a wonderful date night experience! Our server, Kaylie was amazing and attentive. She helped me pick out the perfect cocktail - Rosemary Sour. For dinner, I indulged in the Chilean sea bass, perfectly nestled in a savory tomato base that was rich and flavorful. The dish was complemented by delicate, pillowy gnocchi that added the perfect texture, making each bite a delightful experience. Meanwhile, my husband savored a filet mignon cooked to absolute perfection. It was so tender that it practically melted in his mouth with every bite. His meal was accompanied by fresh asparagus, crisp and tender, and creamy mashed potatoes that rounded out the dish with a comforting finish. For dessert, I chose the banana crème brûlée, and it was absolutely a winner. The creamy, caramelized top gave way to a smooth, rich banana flavor that was simply divine. My husband enjoyed a slice of moist carrot cake, which was deliciously spiced and topped with a perfect cream cheese frosting that brought everything together beautifully. I was a guest at a baby shower today and I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. First of all, the staff was outstanding. The space was beautifully decorated.
