Shoutout to our local community heroes! I love this venue!!! I literally plan what neighborhood to…read morelive in based on where the nearest Asian market is. It has been a great method everywhere that I have lived. This venue is a blessing!! The owners are so friendly and welcoming. I called ahead of my visit this time, because I was on a mission to find Thai chili peppers. Score!!! I was getting desperate after going to a local "natural market", then Winn Dixie, and was I was almost going to go to a Thai restaurant to ask if I could buy some peppers off them. I called to PJ's and asked the owner and I lit up like a kid at Christmas time when she said "yes, I have them"! I immediately said that I was on my way! There's lots of parking spaces and it's easy to get in to the plaza from the road. Not only was it easy to find my prize, but it was so fun to look at all the delicious ingredients, treats, dishes, teas, and medicines. The refrigerators and freezers are full of Asian delectables and I was sooooo hungry and wanted everything! I had to limit myself for now because I was waiting for my next paycheck, but I still bought more than I should have!!!! Why ? Because I don't get to see these products at other local stores. I know that I always get my necessities/ essentials/ pantry must haves... but it is so hard not to get candies, teas, snacks, dishes, and cravings!!! I should not shop when I'm hungry... or did all these awesome products just make me hungry!!! I was feeling greedy for sure!!! I love this venue and I love the awesome lady sitting at the counter as she helped me pick out which package of pickled mangoes were better. And of course, I bought the one was her favorite!!! I love soaking up her wisdom!!!

Soup spoons - they had black, white, and metal. I already bought the metal last time.

3.5 // phili roll , cali crunch roll , hawaii roll , eel tempura , yellow tail , tempura cheesecake…read more atmosphere is amazing! big tv with all the menu items in a slide show and your classic stereotypical asian music. service was good, no complaints , filled the water without being asked and the water jug was not to be seen. highlight was the cali crunch for me and phili roll for preston, yellow tail roll was also very good , very good seaweed and they gave cream cheese on the side!!! for a dollar fifty tho :( water tasted kinda funky to me but preston liked it so ... tempura cheesecake had us divided aswell; preston says it's a high 5/10 and too rich - however i would rate it a 8/10! unlike anything i've ever had before but i liked! final total came out to $80 - av. of $13 per item which is a bit much for quality and quantity of food. so probably would only return again if we were only getting a single roll . overall not bad! it was good but way better spots for way cheaper around so while it was good we probably won't come back.. ‍

Ambiance is cute and feels intimate. Our server was pleasant and accommodating, but sometimes hard to get ahold of when we needed her attention. I was really surprised the hibachi dinners were not served with ginger dipping sauce for the steak (only Yum Yum) and when I asked for some it was more like a cold salad dressing. It's worth noting that we ordered hibachi at the table and did not do the hibachi grill this time.
