The first said they would haven't any vehicles in the area that day and to call the other. The other said they would have a reservation specialist call me back - that's now been 4 days without a return call. I called AZ Sunshine Tours and less than 5 minutes later the reservation was booked and paid for. There was a delay leaving the airport, flying into Tucson. I called AZ Sunshine Tours again and informed them that there was a possibility I could be later than planned. They said no issue. The driver was scheduled to show at 1045 and he would wait. Plane landed about 10 minutes later than expected (still 20 minutes before the driver was supposed to show) and he was waiting at the bottom of the stairs near baggage claim. He helped me claim the bags, load them and then off we went. On the ride, as we hit I10, the driver played a historical CD of the area which was my favorite part of the ride. I've lived in SV on and off since 99 and it was really the first time I got to hear some of the history of the lands between Tucson and SV. The driver dropped me off right in my driveway, unloaded the bags and off he went. I couldn't have asked for better service. Thank you Arizona Sunshine Tours. Keep up the awesome work!!!

He was ready to go and on time and picked up 9 women from Ventana Canyon Resort...no rush from the start. We took pictures before we left...you know how ladies do. He was so accommodating and no pressure to get everyone on the party bus. First, he greeted the birthday girl, had birthday balloons in the party van, a welcome sign with eveyone's name wishing the birthday girl happy birthday. Very nice touches from the get go. On our way from the resort to our 1st winery, Tony pointed out all the historical places. 1st -Tucson's aircraft bone-yard. U of A's research facilities, Tony went on and on about points of interests. It was great because a couple of ladies wanted to visit a few wineries and Tony had an itinerary already plan, but it was all flexible. So once we told him the wineries we wanted to visit, he put a great route together. He was so accommodating and had some special touches, like a cooler with H2O, snacks and special appetizers that were so delicious. He made sure we had a picnic, which he provided a great surprise for us at a great location with a beautiful view. The whole experience was wonderful and the customer service was absolutely fantastic. Tony really made this a great experience and I would highly recommend Arizona Sunshine Tours.

Rant for Slicks (yes another Slick rant) I have never used their services and never would but today…read moreI had my first encounter with them. Turning right off of foothills on to Hwy 90 the light was green and the Slicks driver is just sitting there. After he finally decides to go we were both in the right lane, he was going slow so I passed him. As I passed him he puts on his blinker to also get in the left lane and since I was beside him he starts flipping me off and making gestures. I get over to the right lane so I can get behind him and get his plate number which I did. I called Slicks and advised them I would like to make a compliant about one of their drivers. Sometimes it seems like there are inconsistencies in pricing between drivers. Also, I think maybe Huachuca Shuttle picked up a questionable driver or two from Slick's Shuttle (which was banned from post and added to the off-limits list for soldiers) because there's a pretty strong marijuana smell in at least one of the vehicles. I would also take the positive reviews here with a grain of salt - most of them are written by folks who've only posted a couple of reviews. Not sure how unbiased they might be.

I received a confirmation email immediately after the super easy booking process. Two days before the date of pickup, I received a 2nd confirmation email. The day before, Steve called to make sure my son knew where to meet up and other details. On the arrival day, my son's flight was delayed 3+ hours (arrival time changed 4-5 times), but Steve was there when the flight finally arrived and waited an additional 40 minutes while my son retrieving his check-in luggage. Before dropping off my son to his Airbnb, per my request, Steve drove him around the neighborhood to see where and what stores are around with no extra charges. He also gave my son some safety tips about living in Tucson. When they arrived at the apartment, he did not just drop my son off - he unloaded the luggage and then waited until my son was able to get into his apartment. He treated us like we were celebrities; not only did he drive us home, but he was kind enough to let us stop and pick up some groceries for breakfast.
