I have already paid the $600 for everything and am now scrambling. Going to call my bank right now to see if I can dispute the charges. Very upset and feel scammed. Thankfully I have a week to work with a new bakery. Update- One invoice was through PayPal, so I filed a dispute with them. They immediately refunded me the $200. The other invoice was through Square on my debit card; I disputed the charge with my bank. Through PayPal, I was able to see her Gmail address, so I also emailed her directly for a refund. I ordered a 6" Tri-Layered Cake for my FIL's 80th birthday and it was exactly how I envisioned it. We had 16 adults and 2 kids, and we had a quarter of the cake leftover. The cake also came with macaroons and beautiful chocolate dipped strawberries. Flavor wise, I went for vanilla bean with fresh berries, and it was SO delicious. The cream was light, not overly sweet, and the cake was so moist and absolutely perfect. It couldn't have turned out better. Highly recommend delivery option, if available. The cafe has a cute location next to Ruby's on E 33rd ave. The location is clean and modern, and the lady behind the counter was professional and friendly. I got there shortly after 7am on a Thursday, so I had a great selection to choose from. I tried the almond croissant ($7) and the pistachio one ($8.5). Their croissant is a third bigger than normal, and buttery and flakey, as expected in a croissant. Almond croissant is delicious. There's a thin layer of almond paste, and I think they could be little bit more generous with the almond paste given the croissant is so big. There were hardly any at the ends. Pistachio croissant looks better than it tastes. There's a fluffy sour cream butter sort of filling in the middle which didn't taste much like pistachio. I would prefer a solid pistachio paste or sprinkles of pistachio. I wanted to taste the pistachio and I wasn't getting it. I would try their chocolate croissant next time. So this place might be a hit or miss depending on what you order.

The 2nd employee came in late (who later told me she was the manager of Ruby Good Shoes - Hasena), didn't initiate any greetings, but they were quick to badmouth another employee who didn't show up for their shift. To a customer - wow! She perked up when I inquired about her restaurant and told me to come back to try but having experience working in customer service & food service, I can't support talking poorly about your fellow coworkers. Mainly street parking and some spaces behind the building.
