Last year I purchased a new Camera for my wife's birthday. This year, I had the Designer Cakes and Confections make a camera-themed chocolate cake for my wife's birthday. Guess which one was more talked about it, shared with friends, and appreciated by others? -- (Lesson learned - chocolate always wins.) The camera-themed chocolate cake looked awesome and tasted great too. We are very happy with the results. I only supplied a few reference images of the camera, and some photos and company logo/tagline, Designer Cakes did the rest - Including delivery. The delivery was on time and very convenient. Now that I think about it, the delivery service allowed more time for me to prepare dinner (not camera-themed) and avoid the stress of driving a dimensional cake across town safely in moderately hot weather. -- It was such a hit, I'm already planning a star wars themed cake for my grandson. read more

Jennifer went above and beyond making my little brothers birthday cake. It was a hard cake as it was very tall and specific - The Burg Al Arab in Dubai. One other cake store had actually refused to make it for me before I found Designer Cakes Co. Jennifer was super nice and professional from the beginning and more than willing to work with me to make the perfect cake for my brothers 18th birthday. Not only did the cake turn out perfectly and exactly like the photo I sent, it was even better than I imagined. It was also delicious and very well made. I recommend Jennifer to do EVERYONE'S cake! Oh my goodness, the cakes at Designer Cakes & Co. are so light and fresh; the icing is perfect, not overly sweet and not thick! When we cut into the cake and took a bite, I just wanted to just savor it. We had three different tiers with different flavors, bottom layer her red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, second tier chocolate cake with a chocolate ganache and third layer lemon raspberry cream! TO DIE FOR!!! For our design she used fondant on the outer part to create the ruffles, and the cake was just so gorgeous, yet people were also eating the fondant! I had guests tell me that they never liked the taste of fondant and it was so good that they were enjoying the fondant as well!! Designer Cakes made our wedding cake a few years back and it was absolutely perfect in every way! Their cakes are extremely flavorful and moist, something that seemed to be severely lacking at over 4 other bakeries we had tried. However, not only was our cake absolutely DELICIOUS, but the design was far beyond what I had even imagined to be possible. We had a chocolate fondant cake with gold sugar accents and a beautiful big purple sugar flower. She worked really hard on the details and piped on the fondant creating a 3D effect I hadn't even thought about. As far as flavors, the salted chocolate caramel and the margarita cakes are SOO YUMMEEEE and the owner Jennifer is super sweet and creative. I never had to worry about a thing! Jennifer was such a pleasure to work with and she made a very special birthday cake for our daughter's first birthday. Our daughter love's Piglet from Winnie the Pooh and so we wanted Piglet to be the theme for the cake. Jennifer and I discussed the fact that I wanted a very feminine Piglet with bows and bling and she delivered all of that and a twist - Piglet had a tutu! LOL...she is so amazingly creative and her cakes are delicious! The day of my daughter's birthday party was cold and with blowing snow. Jennifer was to deliver the cake to our house before the party and I was concerned that she might not be able to make it. Absolutely blown away. Jennifer made my wife the best graduation cake I could ever have asked for! She was bummed not being able to participate in a graduation ceremony with the pandemic but this completely changed the experience! When I asked for this cake, I simply didn't know how incredible it would turn out. Moreover, it was obvious that my satisfaction was critical as Jennifer checked in with me every step of the way. Denver Designer Cakes designed the perfect cake for our mountain-themed wedding. I had an idea of what I wanted it to look like and Jennifer created a beautiful cake based on that vision. We were able to tie in my wedding colors and she was very accommodating to use the ribbon I picked out. She put me at ease about transporting our cake 4 hours away to Aspen and took all the precautions necessary to make it withstand the trek up the mountains. The cake we ordered from Jennifer completely blew our expectations!!! We were organizing a corporate party for our company's VP who has 20+ allergies - you can imagine it might be difficult to find a cake that wouldn't accidentally send him to the hospital. This cake turned out AMAZING. We requested a custom cake to look like SourPatch packaging (the VPs favorite candy) and not only did it look beautiful, it was DELICIOUS considering all of the dietary restrictions.
