Blinds were hung crooked. The white valence on a large picture window is cheaply made, corners do not connect. The woven wood blinds were not glued together well.... so many problems for an expensive product. No follow up after! Will not use in the future. read more

I have been dealing with them for months with no responses and no resolution. Spending two hours to match an existing fabric and tell us about the product we already have is ridiculous. The sales person, Caroline, spent an hour on the phone with someone in the office to finalize the sale. They should be able to take approximate measurements and give you a price and finish the final details when they get back to the office and not take up the customers time. It was agonizing. On top of that when the skylight shades arrived they were incorrectly made. They were supposed to close from right to left manual coppering. Instead, they were from top to bottom. When we called to reschedule the remade shade installation date Caroline was very short with us like she couldn't bother to deal with us now that they had our money. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I first connected with a rep in the May timeframe. Her estimate was processed incorrectly and I had to escalate to a manager, who sent another rep to start the process over again. It was the end of July before I finally got it all sorted out, but we did (I thought). When they came for the final measurements, they told me that they would install in the October timeframe. It's almost October and I've heard nothing, so I called for an update. I was told that it would be 12/20-1/3 before installation could occur. Why on EARTH is this place called 3-day blinds? The process was truly white glove service, and I got my blinds 6 days faster than the 2 weeks that was promised. Jaimee is knowledgeable, and she gave us an incredible deal. I bought new blinds from 3 day blinds in 2018. Over the last year several of them stopped working. When I called, I was told that the pulleys inside "wear out" and it would be a service charge to have someone come out and repair. Given the cost of the blinds, customer care should be included. We are currently between moving into one home from another and the new house being right off the market, newly done would need blinds for our upstairs area since father inlaw would take care of the bottom half and live with us. We had never went through the blinds market before and wanted to see what prices were. We had gotten a mail offer from 3 Day Blinds and decided to start there. I called the number, the lady said she was a scheduler.. and did NOT have information on projects costs or an estimated "We dont get that information" we were told. We went ahead and placed a date for an in home free consultation. The guy was coming from Washington to Oregon and upon getting lost due to the new house address he called and then text. I answered and he was very short and not people friendly, sounded rather annoyed to come out to do the job. He was impatient with me as I tried to give him directions and had to finally give him over to my husband. Even then he refused to listen some and was short, telling my husband that e was in Washington heading over when my husband already knew that and was giving him directions stating portland to vancounver. It didnt stop there, once he was there he didnt really to listen and sorta pushed his product, he also had forgot all his tools as well so he couldnt have done much. We kept telling him that we are new to market, just got he home and would like prices and he asked for a budget, we didnt have one as we were just starting to look. He kept getting annoyed and unfriendly and finally telling us that home owners spent 1.5% of the homes worth on blinds. When I had an issue with the opening mechanism on my original order, I called in and asked to speak to a supervisor. Marti immediately took control of the situation and I felt as though my satisfaction was the most important thing to her. She consulted with another manager and within a day they completely turned things around and 4 days later the installer showed up and installed my blinds. Everything went perfectly. More like 3+ weeks blinds. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Allow me to explain: Setting up an initial consultation was a breeze. The sales woman April came to our place, took measurements and helped up pick out swatches. She told us that the blinds could get here in a few days and we could have an install set up with Pete, their regular installer within days. Seeing as how we just moved to a place with floor to ceiling windows and no blinds yet, this sounded great. I put down a credit card number and paid in full for the NOT cheap blinds. This is when the trouble started. Once they had my money and me sign away on the invoice it was all down hill. I'm currently waiting to reschedule my install for the 3rd time. Their installation company seems to be incapable of communicating between their offices/departments and is completely incompetent. My HOA needed basic information like their insurance information and their contractor's license. It took me a week and a half of calling various people in Seattle and Arizona to get the information. People said they would send me things, call me back etc. and nothing happened. I had to call them over dozen times to follow up. The first installation had to be canceled because they couldn't get me the information in time. Today was the second time I have cleared my schedule for the installation only to find out that it couldn't be done and we need to reschedule again. I paid extra for a special installation that April sold me when she came in and measured out our place. When the installer came today he seemed surprised that they were doing the special installation and said he wouldn't be able to do it. He said that he needed to get an approval on the install and would get back to us. God knows when that will be. Meanwhile they have my money while I still have no blinds. I guess I can't comment on the final product yet but I can't imagine that this experience will be all worth it in the end. It has been an epic waste of time and energy. LESSON: If I could do it all over again I would go with a different, local company that doesn't have a million different offices/departments and can't figure out how to communicate with each other. I contacted 3 Day Blinds and Lisa Christensen was very quick to get back to me. She was extremely accommodating in scheduling an appointment for the initial consultation. Lisa was helpful and knowledgeable about the types of blinds that would work with my funky, shallow windows. I had been living in my house for three years without blinds because I couldn't figure out what I wanted. Lisa's expertise made it easy to decide. Greg, the installer, was great. He was on time, efficient and very pleasant to work with. Shortly after I got the new blinds (which looked amazing!) I sold my house. When I bought a new condo, first thing I did was call Lisa and have her come over for another consultation. Again, a total home run. I love my new blinds! There were multiple mistakes; wrong measurements, ordering the wrong shade material, forgetting one window, adding shades for decorative windows that I did not want covered, etc. The worst part was that the sales person didn't take responsibility for her mistakes, instead she lied. LOL! NO! We paid that extra $250 to have them delivered in 3 days. They came 4 days later, one was broken. 2 were mis-measured! (That's 1 out of 4 that was good!) A week later the 3 came in, but 1 was again mis measured. A MONTH LATER We got all the blinds. (They still were a bit short in width!) Will I use them again. LOL NOOOO! They would only refund $100 of that $250. I ordered another room's blind via HomeDepot. It came in a week and was perfect. I couldn't find anything I really liked at the box stores, so I called a few in-home blind companies to come by. I bought 3 Day Blinds because the representatives that came from other companies didn't even compare to April. She explained everything in & out and kindly took her time with me. I didn't get an annoying sales pitch, just lots of good information. One of the other companies was cheaper, but I believe "you get what you pay for" and now that my blind is here I am THRILLED. If there was no stars I would pick that. Waited 3months for our shutters to be "custom built" . When time for install I was told I had to remove all prior window treatment as I did and filled all the holes. The hacks came in rolled our headboard off the bed, left a mess , one window not aligned, one treatment missing all together, one wrong size and as I'm cleaning the mess I found hardware that was not installed on the windows they did finish. I called my sales person, never called back, called the area rep never called back now I know this went down on a Friday at 5pm but when someone spends over 5k you answer the damn phone. Now my house looks like a methlab with cardboard in the windows.. thank you 3 day!! Time to lawyer up. read more

So far, my experience has ended up as less than satisfied. The first problem was resolved and we got an upgrade in product, however, the second problem left us with only half the order and it will be literally days or weeks for all I know, before the remaining product can be installed even though they have had the product for a week and a half at the warehouse. We ordered and paid for the blinds about 3 weeks ago...still waiting. I cannot recommend them at this time. I used 3 Day Blinds some years ago and am writing to say that I completely agree with the "one star reviews." First of all, the blinds were ordered and paid for, but it took much more than three days to receive delivery. It was more than a month between the time we ordered and paid for the purchase and the installation. Then, the company was not helpful in securing a installer: The first one didn't show up at all and the second one kept rescheduling the appointment. When calling to discuss the problem with 3 Day Blinds, they washed their hands of the entire process stating it was up to me to get the blinds installed. Then ... after having our entire house covered with blinds from 3 Day Blinds the wand has broken on two windows (one has had the entire blind replaced from another company). The wand that broke some time ago on the second window is still in use, but I use a pair of flat nose pliers to open and close them. As that will not be effective forever, I'm looking around for replacement window coverings, and I'm not looking at 3 Day Blinds now or ever. Just a closing note ... I filed a formal complaint with their corporate office but it was not acknowledged, AND to this day I still receive advertisements from the company. read more

Could not be happier with the my choice. They were quick w a sales person (Jim) out the next day, who was very helpful w samples. I choose 2" wide walnut (real wood) Venetian blinds (horizontal) which he measured for me and offered detailed choices for which side strings and poles rest? And choice on length of pole opener. I choose strings on outside, poles inside and extra long and now installed very grateful for the extra length on the poles as I have very tall windows. Few days later schedulers called for best time and a very nice two man crew came to install. (Bo, lead installer) My windows were tricky I pointed out because my condo wall is curved.. and they did a great job adapting. Looks great. Thrn to my surprise they called back a few days later asking, any questions? Satisfied? Yup! All good! I love em! 5 stars for my service in SW Portland, Oregon. I think Jim, is out of Vancouver, WA. This company does NOT stand behind their products. Problems: 1 - cord broke on blind, 2 - cord frayed so badly it will unravel and break soon, 3 - blind ends in bathrooms have rusted and blinds cannot be moved. These are nice but expensive blinds. If you have a problem it takes three attampts to receive a response. they have poor customer service and are not very nice nor helpful. forget trying to talk with a manager or the owner - you might as well be pulling teeth. and, the big one here, the minute your warranty expires you are no longer considered a customer! you have to have proof of purchase regardless of the fact their logo is bolded and firmly placed on the bottom of the blind! shop around is the best advice but do not shop here. read more

We were initially very impressed by the salesperson. She spent a lot of time with us, seemed very knowledgeable and gave us a verbal bid. While we initially planned on getting three bids (this was the second), we decided we were going to forgo the third and purchase from 3 Day Blinds; however, they would never know that because we didn't receive the written bid, no follow up-NOTHING. The salesperson insisted we would have the bid that day, or the following day at the latest. I even kept checking my SPAM folder thinking for sure this bid must have arrived, and that I just didn't see it! This was about 1.5 months ago now. read more

We have had our blinds for almost a year and they work very well. However, after six months, one of them stopped working and needed to be replaced. In addition, just before our warranty ended, we requested that another be adjusted. In both cases, 3 Day Blinds assigned Greg Turner to handle the task. His wife, Sheryl, worked patiently with us in both instances to schedule Greg when it was convenient for us. Greg arrived on time and quickly completed the replacement and the adjustment to our satisfaction. He is a very knowledgeable and capable professional and we would highly recommend him to anyone who needs installation or other assistance with their blinds. I have lost all confidence in 3 Day Blinds. I started in September 2016 with a very qualified and professional consultant from 3 Day Blinds...Nancy P. She was great. That is about the only positive thing I can say about 3 Day Blinds. It's now the end of November and I'm still waiting on my order to be completed. When the back door blinds were installed, the quality and craftsmanship was not acceptable. I reordered new blinds in a different style. They are going to work better, but I can see over time they are going to need replacing or fixing by the company. As for the front windows, those blinds are being ordered too because the construction was again unacceptable. The down/up blinds will not stay down and will creep up over a short time. The were reordered over 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting on the re-install. As for customer service...very poor. They main 866 number is a long phone tree and to talk to anyone in person is impossible. I've had to email all my complaints in order to finally receive a phone call and email back, confirming they were working on my order. I finally called the credit card company that I'm going through to see how to stop all future payments and return the products for a refund. I'm waiting to hear back from them. The design consultant told me there is a full warranty on the blinds except for the stings that help the blinds go up and down. I feel when something happens to these blinds, 3 Day Blinds will not stand behind their warranty...and if they do...they will take their time on getting back to me. This has been a horrible experience. I wish I could start over with another company. $2K is about the average cost for what I'm ordering, but it seems I'm spending a lot of money on something that is not right and not working properly. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The initial design consultation was with Lisa Christensen. She quoted us just over $6,000 for the blinds which we paid in full. I questioned Lisa on how expensive they were and she assured me that the top notch customer service, warranty, and installation made it a bargain. Blinds took almost 5 weeks to install, and they had the wrong address and phone number for us in their system which caused further delays. A $1,200 shade that came was measured wrong, and had to be re-ordered. We decided to change an option on the shade to be re-ordered and I was told that I would be called back later in the day or the next day. More than a week goes by with no phone call. I send multiple emails and make multiple calls before getting a call back. The price change jumped over a $100.00 from our initial re-order conversation, it's likely going to take another 5 weeks, and they promise to compensate us, but only after we pay in full, and have the new blind installed, then we can call and plead our case to the manager. The same manager that the customer service rep couldn't get on the phone all day to figure this out. I'm holding my breath. This was a terrible experience and I'll make sure to let me friends in need of blinds, and Realtor friends of the crappy service and experience I had with this company. read more

we recently used 3 day blinds for a home installation, spending about $5k in the end. the initial consultation is solid, they come to your home, show samples / swatches, take measurements, etc. issues started arising after we made our order. First, the blinds were delayed (well beyond 3 days) causing us to have to re-arrange our schedules multiple times in order to get them installed. communication from the company is not consistent, different departments say different things. however our biggest issue came weeks later when we were notified that the blinds we had ordered were being discontinued and if we wanted any more (we had left 1-2 rooms undone based on budget) we had 24 hours to get our order in. this was extremely frustrating because they had sold us the blinds as 'our best sellers, with plenty of stock availability'. we are basically now left with a half-finished project based on very poor communication / customer service. nobody has taken responsibility to date for this, lots of finger pointing on their side as to who to contact about our issue. i have followed up 3 times now with the district manager, with no response to any emails. read more
