The roof has been on for over two years now and is performing well. All Phase really earned their 5 star review when they reroofed our entire house on short notice. Long story short, we discovered so severe leaking during a kitchen remodel that required opening a ceiling. My wife and were headed out of town for a week plus, but the roof had to get done right away to keep our other contractors on schedule. They jumped right in and fast tracked the repair, all while keeping us updated on progress daily so that we could keep our other contractors on task. We returned from a week away to a new roof and a project that was still on schedule.

I was told by a sales person from DaBella that I needed a new roof for $30,000. I got two additional bids. I had damage to the chimney, siding and other repairs but I didn't need a new roof. Their estimate was thorough, competitive, identified the problems, and accurate with solutions. Robin is honest, reliable, conscientious, and follows through. Both he and Eric keep communication open, clarify concerns, and provide answers to your questions. They take pictures during the process to let you know if there is damage under the surface, and how it can be resolved. They keep you informed and updated. They care about their customers. With the heat we've had the past few summers and then the snow that seems to be a yearly event now, we thought it was time to get a really good widow upgrade. We also wanted out house painted after installation and Clear Choice set that up for us as well. (See my review for Triple A Painting). What we loved most about dealing with Clear Choice Windows & Doors was the personalized service we received. They have a large selection of window frame materials to choose from and our choice of fiberglass was an easy one. It was explained to us that fiberglass windows are stronger than both vinyl and wood, making them incredibly resilient to weather and climate -- perfect for PNW homeowners. From start to finish, our team of window installers provided friendly service, excellent craftsmanship, and it took only two days to install the 10 new windows in our home. Before, during and after, the team cleaned up and kept the work site tidy at all times. There was minimal damage to our landscaping as well. We can feel a definite difference in the inside temperature of our house since the new windows were installed. Our AC doesn't seem to work as hard and it takes less time to cool off in the summer and to heat in the winter. The outside look is classy and fits well with the style of our house and the neighborhood. We highly recommend Clear Choice Windows & Doors if you're looking for new windows.

The crew that came out was very new and completely botched the job, breaking siding along the way. To Clear Choice's credit they sent out a more senior team member to fix the issue and said they would replace the siding. Unfortunately because they had to cover up all the issues the window frame is now twice the width of all my other window frames. Once the siding arrived I paid Clear Choice to paint the trim and siding. The crew came out to fix the siding and get things painted but they said they only would paint the trim even though I agreed with the project manager, Luke, that the siding would be painted as well since they broke the siding in the first place. In April the trim was painted and they said they would come back out to do the siding but they never came. After multiple messages to Luke and then to our original sales rep, Jeff (who is lovely!), we still do not have our siding painted. Jeff did everything he could to escalate the matter but after months of back and forth it is clear that Clear Choice does not have great internal communication between sales and the working technicians since even a small job could not be resolved despite multiple efforts from myself and their own colleague, Jeff. While we appreciate the work Clear Choice has done for us over the last several years, we will not be using them in the future, as I now need to buy paint and find another service to come out and paint our siding (which Clear Choice broke), leaving me in the negative for this project.

The problem started when they began calling me nonstop every single day, early in the morning, to the point where I had to block their number. I still didn't give up. I had my personal assistant call them to schedule an appointment on my behalf, but they refused. They said I personally had to call and give approval before she could set it up. I'm a busy man, which is exactly why I asked my assistant to handle it. My assistant still didn't give up. She went directly to their website and successfully scheduled an appointment that was supposed to take place today. Yesterday, I received a text message saying they were trying to reach me to confirm the appointment. I replied and confirmed it. Now, this morning, I'm receiving another text message saying they were unable to confirm the appointment, so they canceled it and are telling me that if I want to reschedule, I have to call them. Total waste of my time and energy taking my business elsewhere

When it came time to install, the installers were generally nice, did a good job cleaning up after themselves and the exterior work was done reasonably well. Things did not go quite so well inside. The windows themselves work fine and are an improvement over what we had previously, but our house was built in 1943 and the interior trim on all the windows and doors is mitered and a particular width. We had also previously tested other window and door frames with a 3M lead test and found that they potentially had lead paint underneath the top layer. The sales rep had assured us they would match the framing style and definitely do a lead test first. The installers did not seem to care about this because they did not test for lead and started right in. When they came to tell us they were finished and show us the final product, what we got was a giant blocky casing that did not in any way match what was in the house. For context, our framing is 3.5 inches in width on all windows and doors in the house. This new framing is 5.5 inches, adding an additional 2 inches all the way around and not mitered. Because the new trim is wider, it doesn't sit level with other framing in the house and it also means the headboard of our bed doesn't fit properly against the wall anymore either. Not to mention it just looks out of place. Additionally, some of the brad nails were also sticking out of the casing and they did not caulk beneath the bottom portion of the trim. I have included pictures for reference, including an example of the original style from one of our other windows we haven't had replaced yet. I understand that sometimes when you have work done on your house, you have to hire someone else to complete another portion or do it yourself (for example, an electrician is not going to repair your wall well or at all after they cut into it), but this feels pretty bad at ~$7K when you also have to do all the painting yourself. What's worse is now we're probably going to end up having to redo the interior casing trim ourselves too. Overall disappointed.
