The location is a little bit difficult to find, tucked away at the bottom/edge of the building, but it's a nice spot with a good beer selection. The lady behind the bar was super friendly. They have a delicious looking food menu but we had just come from lunch unfortunately. They have fights so you can try a few things. And it comes with some pretzels to munch on which is an extra treat. If the weather is nice sit out on the patio! read more

Super delicious or tasty beer. It is also an excellent gathering place too. We are rarely in White Rock and we decided that we should come check this place out. We order a flight for $8. We got the lemon ginger radler, lemon zest raspberry, double dog dare and strawberry cardamom gose. It was awesome that getting a flight includes pretzels. B liked the beer here. I personally really liked the lemon ginger radler. I am not a big beer fan but I have to say the lemon ginger beer tasted very similar to a ginger beer but with alcohol. We will definitely come back. Also best part is that there are free parking on the street or nearby. read more

Love their new location. We sat on the outside patio and watched live music performances, and had a great time. Their menu is big with lots of different options to choose from, I got the kiwi lemon peel sour and it was great. Staff was friendly, place was tidy, overall a great place. read more

Fun vibe, good beer and friendly service... what is there to not like? Plus, it's close to my house which is another bonus in my books. It was open karaoke night on Friday. It was entertaining to watch people sing. The server suggested that I mix the radler and blonde and that was a great suggestion!!! Their Hawaiian flat bread, albeit expensive for the size, was also very good. If you are looking for a place where you can hold a conversation, I recommend sitting upstairs. I would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to try good beer and want a fun vibe. read more

Excellent place to visit and taste test their beer. The place is awesome, a go to for me and my peps. I keep having cravings for that lemon ginger radler. It is light crisp and thirst quenching. Take a game to play while munching on their cheesey nachos. If you forget your favourite game you can buy a deck of cards for a super low price. Brewery close to Semiahmoo Mall. Parking is available on the street in this area. The area has plenty of vintage style wood paneling. Reminds me of Foamer's Folly out in Pitt Meadows. Staff were friendly. Beer flights are reasonably priced, but not their off sales. $7-11 for a tall boy? Yikes. The flights here come with pretzel sticks. Goes great with the beers. The holder is paw shaped, though it looks more like that of a bear than a dog. Unless the dog's name is Clifford. Lastly, I didn't see 3 dogs here. Didn't even see 1, in fact. Be sure to pop by White Rock Brewing around the corner as well if you're in the area. read more

Now known as The Beer Shack, selection was good (all local craft breweries) as well as the food (pulled pork tacos). Price was the outstanding factor. $30 for three beers and the aforementioned tacos. Service was adequate but not outstanding. read more

Stopped in after visiting family nearby around 3:30pm on a Sunday afternoon, have been curious about checking this place out. Sadly, we didn't have our dog with us as he would have loved the canine friendly vibes. There were at least 3 dogs when we were here! Just had a couple of pints and sat by the window. It was raining and cold so no one was outside but have walked by the patio in the summer and it seems quite pleasant. The beer itself was fine. I had a sour, the bartender waarned me in advance was not actually very sour, which was accurate so perhaps nice for those who aren't quite sure yet about them. Place was pretty packed by the time we left, but not obnoxiously loud, and a nice mix of age groups. Also saw some posters for a cribbage tournament which won my heart over. Would stop back in the next time we're in White Rock, wouldn't travel for this but get the sense it's well loved and frequented by the locaL crowd. read more

Great beer, great service and great food! My husband and I tried the Black Currant Cider, Cream ale, Double Dog IPA and another IPA. The Black Currant Cider and the second IPA ( I wish I remember what it was) were our favorite! We also order a vegan hotdog (Buffalo toppings) and a foot long hotdog (trailer park toppings) and they were perfect with our drinks. The bartenders were friendly and helpful. After waiting 20 minutes - We had the nachos for two with additional guacamole and pulled pork - we literally got six nachos each, the pulled pork was little bits that were hardly noticeable, the guacamole came in a small ketchup style container, I had to ask for a full "ketchup container" of salsa because they didn't even fill the one they gave me. As it turned out, there were so few nachos it was almost enough. Very expensive food. The beer is very good - but doesn't make up for the failure to provide a modicum of service and reasonable quantities of food. They charge you at the counter before your experience so the tip doesn't have to reflect the non existent service. You are the server - save your tip for a hard working server in a much better establishment. read more

Three Dogs has moved to a great new location, just steps away from the older spot. It is modern looking with a nice patio facing an inner square off of Johnston Road. Same friendly vibe and a nice set-up, but I was surprised at the prices. Had the "Murphy's Lawger" and a suspiciously-skinny-looking "pint" goes for $9.20 (August of 2022). Despite the modern new location, the food is still average - think basic hot dogs, small bowls of pretzels and nachos - seems like a missed opportunity to upgrade the food. Patio is great and has been busy all summer - not sure if this is because it is a new spot honeymoon period or will continue to be a place to go for a beer with friends. read more

Nice location to visit while going to the White Rock farmers market. We were one of the first to order food as our receipt said number 1. Took over 25 minutes to get a charcuterie platter that was barely enough on the board for 1 person. At 28$ there could have been at least a few nuts or pretzels. A few olives only 1 kind of cracker and a few Melba type squares. Sorry I didn't take a picture. Not worth the price. Beer was great as well as the cider. We thought we the new larger location food choices would have improved but nothing changed. Will return just not going for any food options. read more

We just visited 3 Dogs this afternoon, & were mostly concerned with their lack of COVID rules being followed. Know one to greet you at the door , and or register guests. The first and only microbrewery in White Rock so far. They have a great rotation of beers, and a cider too. IPAs, kolsch, radler and even sour beer at times. They partnered up with Phillips in Victoria to have a couple of theirs rotating on tap also. Snacks are available like nuts, chips, hot dogs (many flavour options!). They also have LOTS of games to play socially... and speaking of social, they let your dog join you too. I love this place. They are going to move next year (2020) to a new location. read more
