This is an in house brewery where you can see the brewery tanks and select up over 30 different brews and have a simple meal at the same time. Nice craft(?) brewery at the interchange of Highway 1 and 200th Street. This place is actually quite tricky to get to. One has to approach this thing heading E on 88 Avenue W(!), then almost go onto Highway 1 eastbound. Turn L at the traffic light. If you miss this turn, you're heading off to Abbotsford (or at least 216 Street). Parking is available in the nice large industrial lot. The place is more like a tasting room in a warehouse with a pseudo kitchen attached. There is a nice (S facing unfortunately) patio in front, as well as a few booths inside. Staff were friendly. Beer selection is pretty decent. They seem to have a lot of tangy fruity stuff (much like Fuggles in Richmond). I also had their Commander beef dip. It comes with nachos and some tasty pico de gallo. Sandwich isn't the biggest, but I was happy. My only complaint was that the background music in there was way too loud. My buddy and I could hardly have a conversation across from each other. My other buddy (sitting beside me) couldn't hear what either of us were saying. If management is reading this, please turn the music down 2 notches. My first time at dead frog and it was a pretty good experience. The beers were great, I love sours and they had a great selection. War Head was my favourite. I was really looking forward to trying the Moscow Mule. I was under the impression it was all year round because it was still on their website, but was disappointed to hear it was out of season. Nice ambience, enough space in between tables for physical distancing along with the barriers between tables. Servers were nice. The one server who took my info for contact tracing was hyping me up while I was giving my phone number, that was funny. Food was good. Price was standard to slightly pricey in my opinion. The slip n slide nachos on its own were $20. Doesn't come with salsa or sour cream, I think it's an extra cost...and it lacked cheese! It was very cheesy at all, so that was pretty disappointing. I'd say $20 is pretty standard for nachos, but as I mentioned it lacked cheese and toppings as well. My pic might be a bit deceiving cause the nachos kinda look loaded, but it was fairly flat, and it had a lot of sauce but again, toppings were a bit lacking. Moscow mule wings was okay. They were very saucy, not a fan but that's just my own preference. Maple bacon popcorn was great! It was mostly maple and butter, with the littlest bits of bacon on top. Still super delicious, would order that again! Maybe not so much the nachos or Moscow mule wings. All in all I'd say beers 4.5/5, food 3/5, ambience 4.5/5 read more

We stopped in here as I kept seeing their sign off Hwy 1. I'm not from around Langley but as an avid brewery customer who has visited various breweries around BC, I am used to breweries / tasting rooms being in industrial areas due to space / zoning required for a brewery. They did an awesome job with the space! I love the lighting & the wood. Our server greeted us at the door, wearing a mask, thumbs up. He gave us a quick rundown of the place. Due to current safety measures we got table service, no walk up to the bar. I'm good with that! Our server was super friendly, I wish I wrote down his name, this was a few weeks ago now. We sat outdoors as it was sunny & beautiful that day. I ordered a flight, as there were so many attractive beers on the menu. I rated them all on Untappd. My #1 was the Stone Fruit Brut IPA - I mean the name says it all. Juicy, fruity, hazy, sediments, bubbly, like it can do no wrong. My partner also got a flight. We didn't order any food because we just ate, but the food menu looked decent. We added a couple beers to go & a mask on our tab. I get alot of compliments on my mask. Tried a flight and liked the GREEN MAGIC IPA. DOUBLE CROSS XX PALE ALE, FIELD TRIPPER HAZY RYE IPA were okay, and did not like the TASTING ROOM EXCLUSIVE STOUT. - service: 4.5-stars. I always enjoyed the Lager so when we saw this place was next to our hotel and had Sours we knew where we were going for dinner! Really good, prompt service. Our server was friendly and helpful. Our drinks came fast, and the place was busy! We both had the beef dip with added cheese and I'm not lying when I say it was the best I've ever had! That AuJus was absolutely delicious and should be bottled and sold along side their beers and merch. The only thing I'd have to say negatively is the sides were disappointing. You had a choice between chips and salsa (which was tasty, that's not my issue), or 2 different kinds of popcorn. The kitchen is the size of a shoebox so I understand the limited menu, but an option for maybe a little salad or even fries or potato chips would have been nice. The Warhead Strong Sour is incredible, my husband had the blue raspberry sour seltzer and it was kind of light on flavour. We had a couple samples of the Peach Lemonade sour (yum!) and the Atomic Cherry (not bad a bit sweet). This place is really cool. Open seating and community tables. Self serve food and beer counter. Staff was very friendly. We had a flight of beer and it was excellent. We also had the Moscow mule wings, guacamole, and avocado toast. All the food was delicious. Very nice ambiance and live music too on Sunday evening! I'll definitely be back. read more

Busy pub where you can enjoy beer, food and 90's music. Food tasted alright and was average pricing. There was a fairly large beer selection and one craft soda on tap to choose from. You can ask for a tortilla chip refill if you still have guacamole or salsa dip leftover. read more

This is in an interesting location, very industrial. However, they have a patio where you can enjoy your beer outdoors. I had a flight of four beer, the hibiscus ipa, brown ale, a blueberry kettle sour and a chocolate chili porter. I was happy with all the beer, but my favorite was the hibiscus ipa. The blueberry kettle sour was also pretty decent, especially on a summer eve. You'll find a beer you enjoy, for sure. As is common with most places these days, flights have become pricier. Tax & tip included, it was $10. I think all places need to bring it down to $6 or $7; it's just a flight & not gonna cost the brewery that much. The service is friendly. Overall, they have decent beer here, but the scenery (or lack of it) and location may make it a bit less desirable. It depends on what you're looking for. read more

When we were about to seated we were told they were not doing pizza. As soon as we were seated it was noted food residue on the table and seats. The beverage options for a non drinker non existent, so no non alcoholic beers. Food menu pathetic for vegetarians. I noted on the menu several options for pizza and we were told we would have to wait a long time as a another party had ordered pizza, confusion there. We ordered and waited almost 30 minutes before the food hit the table. I had a chicken clubhouse it was okay and it was very small, as if they took a foot long and cut it in 3 pieces and that one piece your sandwich was made from. Ingredients not fresh. If you have a menu all items should be available in a timely manner. All in all below mediocre and no tip. read more

Was super impressed with this establishment. Never really tried their beer until a few weeks ago. I had most of all the taps they had at the time. Between a few friends we got a couple of flights to share. I've been to quite a few breweries in the Greater Vancouver area, and I'm very surprised with the in-house kitchen. The food was pretty dang good. Usually you go to a brewery and all they have are chips or pepperoni sticks, or a food truck near it at best. But this place had table service for the food, which was fantastic! I recommend going here to have a chill weekend. read more

Really good brewery! So many beers on tap! The party paddle is amazing and gives you a really good selection from light to dark of what this brewery has to offer. The in-house food is fantastic! The wings are amazing! The maple bacon popcorn is ridiculously good and cheap! The sours are nice an the lemon drop beer is really good. Raspberry blast is one of my favourite summer beers! The bombers are like $5 to $7 bucks a piece. So cheap it's almost better to buy bombers instead if filling the growler which has a limited expiration. This is one of mine and my wife's date spots! We just had my sister's 30th Anniversary at Dead Frog on March 10, with about 60 guests. We were very happy with the delicious food and wonderful service! The kind and thoughtful owners, Donna and Derrick oversaw the whole evening, making sure everyone was happy! All of the servers worked tirelessly all evening! Montana took the lead in providing superior service. She is management material! Thanks again! I recommend the avocado toast, the big board and/or the snack board with the locally sourced meats and cheeses! and the RedRum and the Neon Moon black lager! ...also the Steel Toe Lager. They also have kombucha and root beer which my husband recommends. There is live music on Sundays. Killick & James were there for our party. They played a special original Anniversary song for my sister that was written for one of their own Anniversaries...thanks so much for sharing your beautiful song! This is such a cool and beautifully decorated hangout with a nice patio and board games which we'd like to return and play sometime soon! read more

One of my favorites. They have a variety to choose from and I really like their raspberry sour. Staff are some of the friendliest and knowledgable we have interacted with. So this is for their location in the industrial park in Aldergrove, around Gloucester/ 272 St. (They are moving to the 200th St. / Hwy 1 interchange apparently) It's hard to find. Location is terrible. Honestly drove past it twice trying to find it, finally saw a small sandwich board. It's tucked into a industrial park. Ok, beers. They had some interesting ones, mostly their experimentals on tap. Not all my preference, but that's not the fault of the beer. The tasting room is small. Basically just a room with a concrete floor. Adds to the character, right? They don't have a lounge license so they are limited to serving 12oz. per person. So one flight, or one beer. Then, you gotta go. New location will apparently have a proper license and, some sort of food offerings we were told. read more

Great place!! However, staff need to be educated on beer if they work at a brewery. I called to ask if they serve gluten free beer. It's cool if you don't, but I was told by the staff member there is no such thing as gluten free beer and made me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about. This quirky out of the way taproom offers an Excellent selection of artfully crafted brews both on tap and in bottles running the full range of tastes. Besides serving a tasty flight of standard and seasonal brews, Dead Frog Also does a brisk business with locals filling growlers. This place is well worth venturing off the beaten path. Dead Frog Brewery located out in Aldergrove is hidden in a commercial district and you would never know it was there unless you were looking for it! LOOK FOR IT! When you walk in the door you arrive in a little retail store with both merchandise and beer for sale. They have everything from shirts and hoodies to glassware and tap handles. The brewery also does tours/tastings by appointment only. For the tours and tastings there is a small fee but you are able to try more or less their entire current lineup of beer including their current brewmaster series beer. The tastings are done in a tasting room that almost looks like a board room. Half way through the tasting you will take a walk into the brewery were you will see where the magic happens! After the brewing process is explained you will go back into the tasting room to finish off the remaining beer. For beer nuts like me you will find this interesting. Currently Dead Frog has a contract with Steamworks pub out of Gastown to brew all of their bottled beer for sale in stores around BC. Wandered over to Dead Frog's new location Saturday with a group as it was next door to our hotel. Lots of good looking beer options so I tried the four beer sampler first and then a pint of Reina de la Fuego. Glad I tried the sampler as my four choices were very different but all very good and I really liked the Reina. We had eaten but friends ordered various food items and they all looked good and it all disappeared quickly. The staff was fun and friendly and poured a couple of tastes to help me zero in on the Reina. Would definitely go back for the fun and interesting beer selection and the friendly service.
