The place has an outer space vibe, and an amazingly cool vintage jukebox full o' 80s tunes to give it even more atmosphere. We ended up sitting at the counter and ordering a flight to share. They had a really wide variety of beers - everything from light to dark, including a sour or two. This place is my favorite type of brewery: family-owned and owner-operated, so it was cool to chat with the folks behind the bar because they also brew the beer. I wasn't a fan of all of the beers we tried, but there were at least a couple (including one, surprisingly, with a blueberry vibe - I usually don't like fruit beers but this one was pretty tasty) that I would happily return for. If you're looking for some beer action in White Rock, I'd definitely recommend stopping by.

Some others they have are BBQ, taco, filipino, and pizza. From Lumpia Luv I had scrumptious pork lumpia's with angel hair noodles and one of my pals had rice and chicken. This food truck was owned by a lovely wife and husband who were quite pleasant to speak to. Going into the Beach Cat brewery made me feel as if I was a coconut in a palm tree enjoying the light breeze and good company. The ambiance was beautiful there was indoor and outside seating with games available. It was a gorgeous place with an amazing view. I would recommend this place!

Doggy friendly patio out front. Signage explaining rules for the kiddos if you bring them. For a person who goes to brewery sans children, I appreciate that. You'd never really pay a lot of attention to the building, coming up on it from the street (I couldn't believe it when she turned into the parking lot, thinking she must have had some errand to do first). She had to lead me inside along the speakeasy passage to the tunnel, it was so dark. I thought it was styled very fun and cute when my eyes recovered and adjusted. I wasn't super hungry so I only had the fried breaded pickles and the house battered prawns--both were great, but those prawns were something else. They were some of the best things I've ever put in my mouth--ever! Perfectly cooked, huge and moist and so flavorful. Their cocktail menu is great with lots of choices--we loved our drinks. We also loved Athena, our bartender and server, who had wonderful suggestions for us and was just wonderful in so very many ways. I so want to go back!
