The food was great, we had a variety of things. The rib sandwich was tender and great tasting, Mac and Chez with Brisket, Quintessential burger is a must, and the two meat with Brisket and Beef burnt ends with Wasabi Slaw and beans! Wasabi slaw had just a hint of wasabi flavor and the beans was actually a chili. Come hungry and leave satisfied. Great staff and good prices. 3 Halves is a great BBQ & beer, if you're into that. I had the burnt end sandwich the last time I was here but this time I got the brisket sandwich and they were both delicious. The meat is cooked perfectly and paired with the sauce, pickles, and candied onions the flavors worked. I've had two of their house brewed beers. I had the cervesa peligrosa and the desert gold. Both are mild brews that compliment the BBQ and the seasoned fries. The service was friendly and knowledgeable both times I've been there. Today I sat at the bar and the guy behind the bar that served me was friendly and there were obviously several regulars at the bar that he was familiar with. It seems it would be easy to become a regular here with the beer choices and service. I think the prices are higher but with the quality it's difficult to argue that. read more

Really good beer. Great staff. They seem to be doing their best to address Covid via cleaning etc. but need to do beer job of enforcing rules (masks and distancing) with customers as our issues were with fellow patrons. Many moving around without masks. I understand the issues for venue owners but until they enforce rules i will not be back. Shame on their customers as i know it is awkward on owners and staff. read more

So we rarely get up to KC to see family, but when we do we like to eat bbq and drink craft beer. We have gone to many bbq and beer establishments. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Their food and drinks are amazing. Our server Shana was the best. We live in a world where service everywhere is declining, but Shana was fantastic. This is an awesome little brewery were fun and relaxation meet. They continue to expand their menu which already includes some good barbecue, great burgers, and may be the best pork belly sandwich I've had in Kansas City. There's a great selection of beers along with soft drinks in this family friendly environment. The servers and bartenders are always fun and upbeat. It's a great place for a saunter in, kicked back, talk to your neighbor kinda lunch or dinner. read more

Good food, however the service is beyond terrible. It wasn't just one bad time, but another and another. Lesson learned.

It was fantastic! I was pleasantly surprised. The meat was amazing and the sides were very different and delicious. The service was awesome too. Atmosphere: a nice rustic and fun brewery. You order at the bar for your food and drink then take a seat. The two companies (jousting pigs and 3 halves brewing) are separate so you order food at one spot and drinks at another but it's easy to figure out. Service: you seat yourself and the orders are brought to your table. Staff were all friendly and the owners are great. Food: I've had the pulled pork sandwich, the burnt ends and the sweet potato fries, all were excellent. I could have eaten the sandwich without the bbq sauce it was tasty and moist enough but the sauce was great too so I poured it on. My husband had a three meat platter and liked all. He had the green chili Mac and cheese and the beans for his sides. The bbq is legit. Drinks: They have beer and a full bar. Beers are great! New releases quite often. We are so happy to have a restaurant and brewery in this spot again! The atmosphere for the Chiefs games is great too! read more

We love the variety of craft beers they have. The bar tenders are nice and if it's not busy will chat with you while you wait on your bbq.

Went here with my beautiful wife and our oldest son, that was in town visiting. Their West Coast IPA is spot on. Nice to find a great hoppy, well balanced West Coast IPA in the KC area (we just moved here after 2 decades in SoCal). The real surprise was the excellent BBQ we had for lunch. Nice bark on the brisket and Pork Belly Burnt Ends. My wife had the loaded tots and they were very good. Service from Morgan, the bartender, was excellent and the building was really cool. Right in Main Street in downtown Liberty. Will be making this a regular stop on our weekend rounds. read more

3 halves brewery - beer#5/atmosphere 4. This was a fun little brewery to try in liberty Missouri. .It was pretty good and this was the first time I tried burnt ends and really enjoyed them there. I explored and tried all the popular breweries Kansas City and here are my rankings by there IPA's and atmosphere: 1. Cinder Block- beer #1/ atmosphere#3 there's no doubt, Cinder block has the best Beer, my favorite was actually a seasonal that they said they are almost out of, I told them that this is the best beer I've had in KS and to please put it on tap, still what they had on tap was awesome. Great, friends and relaxing atmosphere, hopefully they can grow in the future and offer appetizers. 2. Torn label brewery - beer#2/Atmosphere#6- I was Jaw dropped after I tried The beer see trolls, it was absolutely incredible, very refreshing, citrusy and a truly amazing IPA. Unfortunately the atmosphere was the worst out of the breweries that I tried, I couldn't really find the entrance to the brewery and it seemed very unorganized but they have huge potential and I hope that they can improve their atmosphere in the future. However if you're just there for the beer then this is one place that you cannot miss! Also on my way out I grabbed a four pack because it was that good! 3. City barrel brewery-beer #3/atmosphere#2, I was very impressed with how barrel brewery experiments and trys out new types of beers that I've never had before, all were very tasty and this was the first brewery in my life that perfected a sour but I really enjoyed! Atmosphere isrelaxing, Nice and quiet for a great conversation. This is my number one recommendation for a place to take a date! Food was good as well! 4. boulevard bewery- beer-#4/atmosphere#1- this is a great place to try when you're visiting Kansas City. Absolutely best atmosphere very relaxing and inviting, I just stayed a while by myself and just relaxed. The bartender and staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. All the beer was very good. 5. 3 halves brewery - beer#5/atmosphere 4. This was a fun little brewery to try in liberty Missouri. .It was pretty good and this was the first time I tried burnt ends and really enjoyed them there. 6. we went there for the first and last time. the waiter was not friendly, seemed like he just had to wait on us. then they were out of the first 2 items on menu. this was a saturday afternoon. my wife had a cheeseburger and fries. i had a pulled pork and a small side with a small beer. the beer had a foam head 1/3 rd the glass. over 48 dollars with tip. portions were small,price was high and service was poor. read more

I ordered a 2 meat plate online, received a confirmation, also received the text message that my order was ready to be picked up. Arrived within 5 minutes. I located a waitress, as directed by the text message. Told her I was there to pick up my order, she came back and said that order was already picked up by door dash. I asked why would they give my order to door dash since I'm the person that ordered and paid for it. She looked at me like a deer in the headlights and walked away. I asked to speak to the manager and he told me that I would have to order something else and wait because now they were out of what I had ordered. So I asked for a refund. I also asked him who gave my order to DoorDash? No one would take responsibility. He said my credit card would not be charged, but it was. So far I have not received a refund on my credit card. I'm going to dispute it with my bank. Terrible management. read more

I was hoping for something more.. this particular location seems to be cursed. The brewery before suffered from the same problem- very poor service. I ordered one of their micro brews.. it was served to me in a very warm glass. The bartender was rude and paid no attention to myself or my friend, he was busy talking to his buddies across the bar from us. I would never go back if it weren't for Jousting Pigs BBQ- which you can order through a window in the bar. read more
