I got the bulgogi beef bowl. The flavor was spot on, but the meat was overcooked just a bit. Didn't stop me from chowing down. Their veggies are darn near perfect. The slaw was fresh and had a great dressing on it. The rice wasn't the sticky rice I'm used to, but that's more a cultural thing than something I would gig them on. If they get the beef a little less done, I'd give them five stars. The service was quick, the food came out quick. Oh my word! This place is amazing!! First off, the staff are kind and seem to really appreciate their customers . Super friendly and talkative. The menu is expansive! So hard to choose what to eat but I settled on a steak bahn mi. Let me just tell you, it was epic! The best bahn mi I have ever had and that includes from several authentic vietnamese restaurants. Excellent portion sizes and everything was fresh and perfectly balanced . The fresh seasoned tortilla chips on the side were an unexpected greatly appreciate side - soooooo good! Great for lunch and I love their origin story! The Po' Boy with Cajun seasoned shrimp and slaw is perfect! Takes me back to my travels back to the South with one bite. Tonight a couple friends and I tried out 3 Ninjas, in Liberty Lake. The restaurant was clean and the people working there were kind and knowledgeable. It's a place where you order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. They have plenty of canned sodas, juices, sparkling waters, beers and other drinks to choose from. We started with an order of chips, salsa and queso. The chips had a nice seasoning on them. The fire-roasted salsa had good flavor. The queso wasn't my favorite. The three of us all tried something different and we all thoroughly enjoyed our choices. I went with their Firecracker chicken bowl with shredded cabbage. I was also able to substitute grilled chicken for fried chicken. The flavor was wonderful, not too spicy (even with the jalapeños). The shredded cabbage base worked perfectly. One friend went with their orange chicken bowl, with rice as the base. She really liked it. Loved the Asian slaw and pineapple salsa. My other friend asked what their popular dish was and was told about their bulgogi. Which made her decide to go with the Bulgogi tacos. She was impressed with the flavor. There was a little crunch from the wonton chips and the beef was tender with great flavor. This is a place I will definitely go again. read more

Wow... this was rough. It should be illegal to serve food this bad. We ordered the orange chicken bowl and the firecracker bowl, both of which were borderline inedible. The orange chicken tasted like it came straight from the freezer aisle, only somehow worse. The firecracker was equally disappointing: overly sweet, bland, and soaking in a bowl of way too much sauce. The noodles were straight out of a package, not even cooked/warmed up, still hanging on to the shape of the package they were dumped out of. The flavor of everything was just so bad. It's a fast-casual, counter-order style. Yet, it is the price of a sit-down restaurant. Overpriced, terrible food. Service was fine and the staff were friendly, hence the second star. This place (and staff) ROCKS! I flew up to the area late last year (November) looking for a new place to call home. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming (which is a rare thing for a Californian to experience when traveling)... The food here, is some how better than the staff's attitude. I didn't believe that could have ever been a possibility. And I'm extremely happy to be proven wrong on that! So far my wife and I have had the: Bulgogi bowl, Chicken Teriyaki bowl, Peanut bowl (with Tofu or Chicken), Orange Chicken bowl, Fried Rice, Chips n Salsa. Never disappointed, always impressed. The Thai Lemongrass Tacos were so good I downloaded Yelp just to write about them. I ordered mine as a bowl over cabbage, but I *wish* I had ordered them as tacos -- they were perfect and would have been even better in a tortilla!!! I got my order to go, but in the time I was in store, Steve (one of the co-owners) took my order and was so friendly, asking what my daughter's name is and remembering facts about her to give us a thoughtful goodbye and a warm welcome back to the restaurant for our next visit. There was some kind of seasoning on the chips that gave it a unique flavor and the salsa definitely had roasted peppers of some sort in there. This place was recommended by a colleague and it turned out to be pretty good. First off, when you walk in, it has some interesting art. Definitely not your run of the mill place, but certainly unique. I ended up getting a mix of tacos: bulgogi, carnitas, and mahi mahi. The bulgogi was my favorite. Tons of flavor, really good. After that, the mahi mahi was probably my next favorite. I might have liked the carnitas a little less, maybe because I've had some pretty good carnitas in the past. But all three were good tacos. We've eaten at 3 ninjas Liberty Lake a few times and figured I would leave a review as I have a different experience consistently as other reviewers. Food: we have not had good luck with the meats especially chicken. It is very dry for both regular and flash fried chicken. I ordered a bowl with the flash fried chicken and I couldn't get it down with any amount of added sauce to moisten it. I sent the owner a quick note on FB just to share the feedback, not to ask for anything free or be rude at all but I explained maybe there was a new cook and wanted to let them know. They never responded to the note. We pick up kids chicken teriyaki bowls from time to time for the kids as they are economical at $5 (awesome) and feeds two kids. This chicken seems to be fine! Restaurant: I think the restaurant aesthetic looks amazing, but I can't put my finger on it but it feels empty. There is not an area for getting your own napkins, sauces, etc- and it would be amazing to be able to have a glass of wine if going for dinner with my hubby, but I don't ding them for that- it's probably not their intention to be that kind of dinner spot. Happy they are in the neighborhood but I do feel there is some tweaking that could make it a spot to frequent often. read more
