I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. The food is always so yummy, and service is always so incredibly kind. From the moment you enter the door the environment feels like it's giving you a hug. I'm a BIG fan of their jasmine milk tea and a Bahn Mi sandwiches as I'm typically getting my food to go. BUT their pho is so yummy! If you're new at eating Pho they have a lill how to direction at the tables so you don't feel odd and I think that's incredibly thoughtful of them. You can tell the owners love the community that they're in because they even have a community centered table for you to view local businesses, and people are able to leave business cards. So huge bonus to them for sharing their space to support others. Cannot recommend this spot enough! You're missing out on a great meal and great service if you're not coming here. read more

Oh yikes. We ordered a delivery service. There's literally no flavor in the broth. The broth is pretty much clear. Our bean sprouts looked old and our lime was definitely old. We also ordered a few rice, beef and noodle dishes for lunch tomorrow so I will update on how those are... but we also ordered $7.50 boba.. terrible. The taro tastes super fake and not in a good way and the boba itself is very mediocre. Surprised they have such good reviews. read more

I love this neighborhood establishment. We usually pop by for lunch but decided to get take out this evening on this chilly evening. The restaurant is always super clean and staff are so kind & helpful. When you walk in the door, go straight back to the counter in the back to make your order. They have large menu screens above the register, hand held laminated menus or a we code if you prefer to use that for the menu. My go to dishes are usually the pho and the hubby loves their combo fried rice. Service is quick. Food is consistently good and the atmosphere is family friendly. It's a great place to meet friends for a meal. Easy to have a conversation and not feel rushed, Tip of the day is to sign up for the rewards program, it's amazing how fast they add up. read more

We visited San Antonio and wanted some pho on a rainy day. We came here since it was the closest one to our Airbnb. It was a Saturday so most of us ordered the special of the day, Pho with steak and brisket for $11, while the others ordered the P1 pho special for $15. Ordering was easy, walk up to the counter and food is served to us at the table. Our bowls came out fairly quickly and the bowls are a good size. Once we started digging in we realized there were so much noodles! I've honestly never had a bowl of pho, even a large size, with that much noodles. Half of us barely put a dent in our bowls. The 14 of us could have ordered 5 bowls to split between us. With the amount of noodles and the meat sliced so thick, no one finished their bowl. I have no idea how pho tastes at other restaurants in San Antonio so I don't have anything to compare it to. I'll give it 3 stars since it was edible but it wasn't good. Been awhile since I been back here. I used to stop through during high school football season and grab a Banh Mi sandwich and a coffee and be in heaven! Fast forward to today when I drove by andhad to stop in my fix! I called in my order before I got there and the service got me in and out. They were super nice and communicative at the counter, great service! The sandwich....well it was a miss today. I don't know exactly what was different, but the seasoning of the chicken was not what I'm used to. It was lacking. The veggies were crisp. The bread was fresh. But the chicken wasn't seasoned the same. That hurt because this was our cheat meal and we were salivating thinking about how good it used to be. In all honesty It could've been just a miss today. Eveytime I come to 3 pho bowl 09 I am impressed with how clean it is. I see the workers always cleaning non stop. The customer service has always been great the cashier was patient on Friday with my big group while I helped explain the menu to them. Now to the food, I am very picky with Vietnamese food since I am half Viet. Everything is good here from the bánh mì to the gọi cuốn. My only issue personally is the pho it's not good the broth to me is a big deal and it's flavorless here. Everything else though I can say it's delicious. If I want Vietnamese food and don't feel like making it I'll come here. Really though I came to realize there's not really a foot "authentic" spot here in San Antonio. I definitely recommend in Houston! read more

Went to pick up my 2 items. Was told that discount did NOT APPLY. Apparently, you must order two of the same thing. Very misleading and deceptive advertisings. The food was amazing. I had the banh mi pork sandwich, it was heavenly and heavy with perfectly spiced meat, pickled vegetables and mayo. The others in my group had the pho special loaded with meat, delicate broth and perfectly cooked noodles. I'll be back the next time I visit from Seattle WA. read more

Sadly wouldn't come back. I got the brisket steak pho, at first glance it didn't look good... the broth color was just off. I wanted to give it a try and hoped it would be good despite appearance but I was let down. Broth was underwhelming, not much flavor in it. I had to add lots of sriracha and hoisin sauce. The portion of bean sprouts given wasn't much, which is not a big deal had everything else had better flavor and appearance. In the second close up photo you can see the texture of the brisket ??? Not too sure what that is but it looked like chewed up and spit out food. The employees were nice and attentive. Quiet setting for 12pm lunch time. Peaceful. read more

Was not impressed at all... first and last time trying this place the pho was disgusting and a waste of money...

As mentioned in a previous review, it smells like a nail salon and acetone because there is a nail salon next door. You first order at the counter and take a number and grab a table. Cute little place with nice Vietnamese cuisine artwork. Got the Saturday special, brisket pho and beef meatball pho. Beef meatball pho is usually my go to pho order. The biggest turn off is that the broth is sweet! I'm not sure if this is the case normally or if this batch just had an extra handful of sugar but every spoonful of the broth was more sweet tasting than beef. There was an adequate amount of noodles and beef balls and brisket with a side dish of fresh bean sprouts and Thai Basil. I would go back and try it again as it seems like a decent and clean restaurant. Perhaps next time will not have such sweet broth. read more

Well, I can now add this Pho place to my top five in San Antonio. If you have been following me, you'll notice image been going around San Antonio trying Pho. Well, this is now one of my go to places. I got an order of their summer rolls, ate one there, & brought the rest home. They're very good. They don't fall apart after one bite, I appreciate that a lot. They have two pieces of shrimp in each roll. But their peanut sauce is so good. I had to get a container of it to go! Now, onto this really great pho. I always order tendon pho. Tendon is very low in fat, high protein, it is my go to choice. Some have issues with the texture. The establishments always comment when I request tendon, not something Americans care for apparently. It is my favorite. The broth they use is, honestly, the best I've had to date. It's clear, rich & super yummy. I had forgotten the Hoison & Sriracha when I started eating it, it's that kind of good. They give a nice size serving of the basil, cilantro, mungbeans, & jalapeños. Which I appreciate. I like a lot basil. I normally have to request more, but they delivered. The noodle ratio, & texture was perfection. Not too much, not over cooked, just right. The amount of tendon provided was better here than most places. Also, the tendon was not overly gelatinous, it had a good consistency & great flavor. If the tendon is over cooked, it will become very gelatinous, & stringy. It's gross then. But, they cooked it perfectly. They also have Stubborn Soda, if you saw my Ming's post, you know my love of Stubborn Soda's Root beer, it's amazing. With that stated, I did not get soda, I got unsweetened tea. I do judge places on how well they make tea. Well, this establishment makes very good tea! I'm normally a one glass girl, if I request another glass, it's good. But, if I get two refills, it's really good tea! Well, I had three glasses! It's quite good. I talked with the owner & chef to inform him how fantastic it all was, imo. Truly a good Pho place. Try them out when you're near Randolph AFB, in Schertz, or around the area. They are worth the drive. Enjoy! read more

I came in after a day getting some errands done. This place is set up nice. It's quite modern with plenty of seating. Coming in, it smells like a nail salon. I realize that there is a nail salon next door, but that smell can be overwhelming. You have to pay before you choose where you want to sit. I don't like that, because if the service isn't good.....basically leaving a tip before you get served is weird for me. However the service was great. I got a steak, brisket, and meatball phó. Broth was perfect. Great flavor. I got fried Eggrolls. Those were great as well. I don't recommend the curry. They had a special for spicy chicken curry. It was extremely soupy. It wasn't spicy. Service was fast and friendly. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals. I had the Egg Foo Young. It was 3 huge oil soaked balls of undercooked egg and cabbage, with an occasional piece of chicken. Definitely would recommend. If you're a Rangoon nut you need to check these out. So good! Now for the pho. I got the special which was brisket, meatball, tripes, and steak. Never had meatball or tripes in my pho and wanted to try it. Meatballs are definitely frozen. The rest of the meats were good but the tripes made the broth greasy and cloudy. The broth tasted like it was premade (canned or store brought) it needed allot of extra love once at the table. The noodles were over cooked and WAAYYY too much in portion. I did notice there were other choices of classic Chinese dishes that I would come back to try. Definitely wouldn't go back for the pho. And if all else fails if you're looking for a quick snack I would recommend the egg rolls and Rangoon. (Which is kinda sad). The service was amazing very nice and friendly. Very clean dining area. Also bought a boba tea (strawberry). WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY boba tea from here. It tasted like a over priced strawberry milk. read more

First off, the name...super creative! Had to stop into this joint as I was craving Banh Mi! The restaurant is super clean and everything has its place, from the table settings to the condiments behind the counter. The staff were all smiling including a cook who popped his head out and shook the manager's hand and thanked him for something...he also commented on an item I ordered and said "I love that gravy!" When the cashier went over my order. Food? Fantastic! The Banh mi seasoning of the beef was just the way I like it - a little tangy. I also ordered the summer rolls for the whole family along with fried rice and Egg Foo Yung Beef. The combo fried rice had good flavoring. The sauce for the summer rolls was unique and surprisingly good - even my kids enjoyed it. Oh, and don't forget the lemon açaí soda...I love little touches like this... Vietnamese cuisine and Pho have arrived in Schertz. I was not disappointed on this day. I was craving a banh mi sandwich, and a hot bowl of pho. I opted for the meatless version, which was just broth and rice noodles and all the vegetables for $6. I also got the grilled pork banh mi on a crusty bolillo roll, poppy cuz it was toasted it tasted just like a good french bread. The soup was hot, rich, and very aromatic from the seasonings and herbs they put in there. The noodles were perfectly cooked. My sandwich had great flavor. The pork was well caramelized and was topped with a hoisin glaze. The bread also had the classic Vietnamese Mayo spread one side of the buns. I was originally going to go out for sushi, but the place I was heading to was closed. This was close by so it was what I settled on. I ordered the Grilled Chicken w/ Vermicelli noodles. The chicken is flavorful and delicious, paired perfectly with the noodles and fresh vegetables. This meal makes wonderful leftovers. My husband ordered the pho and I snuck a few bites, the meatballs weren't favorite but the broth is lovely. The Vietnamese coffee is delicious and I will be coming back to try other items on the menu. Gospel music was playing and Bible verses are written on almost every thing. read more

This place is one of my go-to spots for pho. It's one of the closest things to pho from back home (California) as I can get. When ordered through door dash, the broth is always hot enough, and the meat is also fully cooked. I say this because normally, the meat is raw and then cooked under the hot broth, but I can understand why they would fully cook it for door dash orders. In addition, the service is always great. They get their orders out quickly and the wait staff are always nice. Another thing I love, aside from their pho, is the eggrolls and summer rolls. Sooo good and definitely a must try! read more
