Tbh the food is shockingly good! I order a variety of food & I wasn't disappointed. Started off with the appetizer sampler plate, I'd give it like 6/10. It came with pot stickers, egg roll, crab rangoons, & edamame. The edamame I feel you can't mess up, just steam & add your seasoning, it was good especially cause I got it spicy. However, it will be alittle wet/messy. Everything is meh, not bad, not great, but valid. For the dishes I ordered the Steak & chicken combo hibachi & the susanoo ramen. Let's start with the meh.... The ramen, seemed alittle timid like not hot hot. Flavor wise it was good, ingredient wise it was okay. I feel like I've had better ramen in other spots. Now the Hibachi complete 11/10. If I was ever in the area. I would just order straight to this. For the price, you get a pretty good portion! I ordered my steak rare & it was on point . Definitely a hidden gem. We finally went here for lunch and definitely wasn't disappointed! I got shrimp Yakisoba my husband got the steak and chicken with rice and vegetables. The building is a bit old, and the furniture needs upgrading, but for them to go from food truck to restaurant is a significant accomplishment. I wish them nothing but the best. They have done a great job so far, and we need locally owned, homemade restaurants in the area. There is ample seating, and the attentive staff brings the food as soon as it is ready. Be careful not to burn yourself, which is a testament to the food's freshness. We had a massive plate of Koto Amatsukami, which is Yakisoba, beef, chicken, and shrimp, enough for three people, and it was delicious. Kayla made us drinks from the secret menu, I had the peach sake fizz I highly recommend. Delicious!!! I got the tonkasu Ramen Red, The broth OMG!!!! Took me back to a small ramen shop in Japan.... The food and service is always outstanding. They are going to open a second location in New Braunfels but it will be a food truck. My favorite dish is the noodles with chicken, shrimp and beef. I talked my husband in to try the three meat with the rice. The portions are big and would be enough for two people, but I like to eat the leftovers the next day. If you haven't tried it, stop by. Both the hibachi terriaki chicken and chicken yakisoba are seasoned and prepared well, but neither leaves much of an impression. My younger girls were excited to see the little details even in the menu! The food was very yummy I got the daily special which included the NY strip steak, fried rice and mixed vegetables.
