He removed some old pavers, graded the ground, eliminated a step down from our porch in the front yard and gave us ideas on how to better do things that we hadn't heard before from other companies. Eric and his team were great to work with! Eric was very communicative when I requested a quote through Yelp. He was even able to give me a quote over text message by sending photos of the trees I needed removed. This saved us so much time to skip the consultation as we needed the trees removed asap because we were getting turf grass installed. Eric did a very good job. He responded with telephone calls and text messages. Eric arrived promptly as we discussed the project. The team arrived and worked hard. They were safe and responsive. they answered all the questions and were careful with the property. Their price was very fair and were the one company that could preform as promised - the next day! Other companies offered competitive prices, but could never schedule my four hour job. Their truck was full of debris from my tree project, but I felt that too much debris was left in the yard. Much of the sawdust and tree trimming were just brushed aside or blown back into my shrubs, rather than swept and cleaned properly. They got 85 % but i have some cleanup. I am SO THANKFUL that a friend recommended 3 Rivers Outscapes to me for my complete and total overhaul of my backyard. I had been designing a new landscaping plan for months, but I had not found anyone who "felt right" to carry it out for me-- until I met Alfredo and his hard-working brothers, that is. I obtained three quotes, and 3 Rivers gave me the most comprehensive, most inclusive, and best priced plan that I could imagine. 3 Rivers went so far above and beyond expectations that I really can't believe this is MY backyard. Please understand that I am not easy to please, and that I have very definite ideas about how I want things done. There were a few times when I needed to change something, or where we discovered that my design didn't fit specs, but through it all, Alfredo knew exactly what could and couldn't be done, how much it would cost, where to find the best materials for each individual piece of the job, and how long it might take. He also thoughtfully offered different perspectives and new ideas as needed. Alfredo knows every little piece of detail, from demo to hardscape to softscape, and he hand finished the finer points himself. Raul did a fabulous job trimming my trees, and Mario worked ridiculously hard for me every single day of the job. They are all very kind, mindful, and nice to talk to. Erik is extremely professional and does a great job trimming trees and palms. He showed up early,... got our very tall palms trimmed beautifully. He also trimmed our liquid ambers and shaped them so they looked less dense and removed the dead branches etc . We needed our pine trees trimmed and he took care of the dead limbs starting to impinge on our neighbors yard. His guys clean up everything and are very efficient. I called on Monday to have someone come out and give us a quote to remove a tree in the front yard. They came Tuesday morning with a fair quote and by 10am Thursday the tree was gone! They were trimming other neighbors palms on my street, and knocked on my door to solicit my business. I agreed to have them trim my 4 palms, and they did a good job of cleaning-up when finished. My issue with 3Rivers was the follow-up when a palm frond folded-down on the side of the tree the next day. After contacting them they have continued to promise to come back out and fix the problem. Alfredo and 3 Rivers did an AMAZING job with a complete re-do of the irrigation, softscape and retaining walls for our large Carmel Valley back yard - everything except the queen palms and plumerias got taken out including 2 lawns and all the other plants, down to the original construction-quality (ie unable to support life!) dirt/clay/sand. They installed a completely new irrigation system, did beautiful retaining walls with travertine cap, the list goes on. They started when they said they would and worked every day for a month, often 6 days per week, and their attention to detail was really over the top, I've remodeled dozens of homes and lots and we've never seen a contractor as dedicated to doing a great job as Alfredo and his crew Benito and Patrick. At the end of every day, after sweeping up everything, then hosing everything down, watering trees that weren't getting watered due to the old irrigation system being torn out, total TLC for the plants, we would often see Alfredo just walking around the property, looking at every detail, seeing if anything was missed or needed to be addressed the next day. Great tree work until they made mistake and would not take responsibility. They used cleats to climb up and trim our large thriving avocado tree. We were told this was a big No-No in the tree industry and even after showing them pictures of the tree just after they left they denied they did the damage and would not take responsibility, no Integrity, so we cannot recommend them. Two Tree Experts verified that the damage on the tree was caused by the cleat holes which were fresh done within a week of them visiting the tree as shown in the photos we showed this tree company, which they still denied even hearing from the Tree Experts. read more

Nice guys but nothing they did showed me they are good at trimming trees. They left stubs at all the branches they cut instead of cutting the branch close to the trunk so the bark can grow over and heal the cuts. Now I have trees full of amputated arms. They didn't remove suckers. They didn't remove crossing branches. They didn't balance the trees. They were supposed to clean up after themselves and I filled 2 trashcans of stuff left behind.
