What a hidden gem! The two ladies behind the bar were super friendly and great! They brought our kids some snacks as well! The wine was delicious , we had the pomegranate. The grounds are beautiful , cool little waterfall in the back. The bottles are priced reasonably. And even the tastings . 5 samples for 10$ which nowadays you can rarely find a place with tastings that cheap. We'll be back next time we are near Waco !! read more

The wine was great and the staff was amazing and so nice! The food/snack options were not amazing but it was very adorable (which may make up for it not being great). The vineyard was beautiful. They had blankets for if you felt cold (they are all freshly washed). AND they have many options of wins they make in house!!! read more

The absolute best part of our entire vacation. We didn't tour the vineyard but it's literally right next to the patio where we sat. We did the wine tasting and ordered the 'little bit of everything' cheese/fruit/cracker plate and the bread with olive oil. Prices have changed since some of the menus uploaded to Yelp, but they're still the cheapest around. Just in price, there's nothing cheap about the quality of food, wine OR service. Lovely place with a staff to match. Very simple winery but nice atmosphere and location. Would be a wonderful venue for any occasion! We are so tired and dehydrated reaching here after walking around in Waco for a while hence Forgot to click any pictures . Reached around 4pm and spent a good 3hrs which helped us rejuvenate. We got the cheese platter ( Pretty good, our friend loved the dip and she even bought some for to go)and bread with some olive oil( not good) Sat inside as it was hot but they have shade and fans outside too.Got the wine tasting (6 for 10$ , glass is ours to take home) . Tried all they made there and seems like they lean towards sweeter wines but they are pretty good. Special mention to the hospitality, every women who was working there was amazing. They were so attentive and smiling all the time. People like these make you come again and again. This family owned business is great. The tasting room has several intimate places to relax and enjoy the wine. There are a few food options, which we always purchase. Outside are varied seating areas including a firepit, couches, and tables with umbrellas. They provide games for outside or inside enjoyment in a quiet serene environment. This is Curtis Timmons who could quite possibility be the sweetest viticulturist I have ever met. He and his beautiful bride Mary, the vintner extraordinaire made our stop in Lorena, Texas such a delightful memory. With no plans whatsoever, my husband and I decided to drive by their vineyard. We called about 10 miles out and they mentioned they were only able to do curbside. Within five minutes of our arrival, Curtis had wine in our hands and began his personal tour of his babies (vines). What was to be a two minute stop turned into well over an hour and most importantly, friendships were made! Curtis & Mary, it was such a pleasure meeting you both. Not kid friendly, a couple of the workers yelled at the kids because they were "unsupervised". We had our eyes on them the entire time, all they were doing was playing with a ball. If they are going to have games out in the wide open yard like corn hole, then why get mad at little kids for playing. We were practically kicked out because of this. They claimed that they were family friendly, but apparently not kid friendly. They also got on us about where one of us parked when there were not any signs telling us not to do so. If they are going to be so strict about their rules then they should let their costumers know what the rules even are. If you are looking to come here with your kids, then I would strongly recommend that you go somewhere else. read more

Everyone needs to know about this spot. We were on a vacation/get away and saw them online. Sounded like fun so we got directions to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The scenery is Beautiful, the ladies behind the counter were so sweet and friendly. They even helped out those of us who have lots of questions about flavors and how grapes are grown. Can I give this place 10 stars?! Seriously the most perfect place to go for a peaceful chill evening. Social distancing and masks precautions were in place too. We decided to take a day trip to the Magnolia Market and then head to this winery to end the trip. It was so beautiful! The wine was amazing. Got 2 bottles to take home but wanted more. Great prices and you get to keep the glass if you do a tasting. You can play corn hole, relax by the fire pit, enjoy the waterfall pond or sit in the rocking chairs as the sun sets and you have their 2 adorable dogs Pepper and Rowdy snuggle up to you. We were on vacation in Austin and decided to go to Waco to see Magnolia. I checked Yelp when leaving to see if there were any wineries around us, and this place was showing close to us. I am so glad we found this place! We decided to do a tasting, and everyone there was so nice and helped us pick wines based off our preferences. Winery space is beautiful, absolutely can sit back and sip some wine and enjoy the patio, or relax indoors on their comfortable seating in the cool air. Based on previous reviews I had higher hopes but my husband and I were a bit more disappointed. They did have a couple of events going on, so it was loud and busy during the transition. We are major wine lovers with many years in a couple of different big wine regions so we do love to talk wine. The woman who assisted us didn't share any details on the wine being provided for us, just the name of the wine, so she would drop the glass and go pour more. The wines were super light in flavor, not overly complex, good summer wines. I like the variety they had, my palatte would have preferred a bit fuller. Again, beautiful venue, and I think the events made it difficult to get some of the interaction we like so we can learn more about the wine and the makers, so being understanding of how busy they were. read more
