So they are called 30 burgers now. Alas they don't actually have what I could call 30 burgers, more like 20 with other options like chicken sandwich and hot dogs. The few I've tried have all been great. The $5 meals are a great value but lesser quality. The regular burgers are tasty. I love the Jersey burger with the egg and the bullseye burger. Seasoned fries can be overdone at tines so I ask for plain and add my own salt. Decent onion rings as well. One complaint is their purchase system. Like many places they take your credit card and flip the screen and you are presented with tip options. Like 15, 20, 25 and other. I am all for tipping the wait staff and for a special job well done. But the trend of more and more restaurants asking for tops just to take the order is annoying. I get the wages thing. In those case charge more for the meal and don't insult me with a top screen when I am ordering. Pay the staff properly. If its sit down service then you get a tip. /rant over. I found this place during my stay in the area. I ordered the turkey burger royale and it is really good. They have online ordering which makes it super convenient. This is a nice local place with really good food. I highly suggest you give them a try. When I was looking them up I saw that they used to be called 25 Burgers and they had a fire. The locals said that they had to change the name due to a ownership breakup. I feel that thirty burgers is more catchy. Different bun, check. Their attention to detail and willingness to actually follow our order is so appreciated. So when my colleague Lucy raved about this place in front of my face, you know I wouldn't take it sitting down. I marched right up to 25 burgers today and I ordered not one, but two burgers. In your face, Lucy S of Wall St. I had the classic cheeseburger with spicy seasoned fries and also another cordon bleu burger with its own serving of fries. You know why? Because I am fat and I don't care. The joint, as implied, has 25 creations, with one being the frankenburger of the month. A lot of novelty went into these burgers and I honestly don't know how one would conjure up some of the ingredients that goes in the bread-in-between. Pineapple? The burgers tasted okay. The cheeseburger was drowned in mayo, which I secretly wished was replaced by thousand island dressing. The beef patty was cooked 'well.' While it might delight some, I was a bit disappointed that they didn't elect it cook it juicier so I could taste the extra fat of the angus beef. The french fries were seasoned to my secret preference (yes I have a lot of secret wants). Perhaps they added more pepper into the seasoning but in no way makes it 'spicy' seasoned fries like they named it. That's exactly how I wanted my fries. The price was fair. The average burger attacks your wallet for 7-10 damages. So for just a buck or two more you get a burger that is significantly better than your fast food joints and stands even with a lot of NYC's gourmet burgers. Service was smileys and the decor resembled a homey diner, with photos of movie stars (love staring at Audrey Hepburn) mosaicked on the wall. That's a real word by the way. Besides hamburgers they also sell delicious hot dogs which are 100% beef and come dressed 5 different ways. They sell combo meals which include fries and a drink.for $5.00. Speaking of fries there are 7 ways to order them. Skin on, seasoned spicy, cheese and bacon,chili cheese fries,cheese fries,sweet potato fries,and onion rings. My personal favorite is the sweet potato fries. they were thin and crispy. 25 Burgers sells 5 different kinds of shakes from vanilla, chocolate,strawberry,oreo cookie,and butterfinger. I chose the bottled Stewart's Root Beer. Nothing goes better with a burger or good hot dog then an icy root beer. This place can get very busy at lunchtime.The line can stretch out the door. I ordered on line. When I got there they could not find my order. I showed them my phone confirmation the girl behind the counter said she remembered the order but they can't find it. She told me to wait while they remade it. I waited 15 minutes when she noticed the order was on the counter behind some other bags. I said that I hoped the food wasn't cold by now. Cheeseburger - On my god, this was so comforting. I have had many cheeseburgers but this one stands out among the best. The meat is the star here, 100% Angus is so right in there. The toppings were fresh and the bread had a great texture. My fiance didnt even want to eat, but she ended up devouring it!! El Paso Burger - I LOVE southwestern flavors and so this was like a match made in heaven. Once again, the meat was so delicious. The topping included perfectly crispy thick bacon, pablano peppers, avocados and other stuff i am probably forgetting. Interestingly, they had a different kind of bun just for this burger. This bun was hearty enough to handle the overloaded sandwich, not just weight and texture-wise but also flavor wise as it was seasoned very well!! Chicken Teriyaki 'Burger' - My friend really enjoyed it. He said the chicken was extremely moist, the pineapple and the sauce were perfect too. I don't know how to describe the bun. It's listed as the "deli roll" here but it's softer/doughier, less flakier and so freaking good. Added with the chipotle sauce, the patty is not dry at all! However the only let down would be the fries. We got the spicy seasoned fries and the sweet potato one. The sweet potato fries came out soggy. They misordered my spicy seasoned one with the original regular fries. I should've kept mum about it because to be honest, the regular fries were so much better. Crispy goodness! All in all, the meal was cheap! 2 #21s, 2 order of fries, and 2 drinks for $25! I didn't go for any of the other burgers mostly because I feel like if you can't do a cheeseburger right, then don't bother with anything else. Pulling into the lot, the air is greasy. You can smell the burger grease/oil and I don't know about you, but it was unappetizing. The burger itself was okay. Pretty standard, better than other fast food places, but a lot more wet. 30 Burger use to be 25 Burger. This place has a nice clean vibe when you walk in the door. Young ladies taking the orders were very pleasant and will make sure your order is right. It's never been super crowded when I've gone but does have a nice flow of people either staying in or getting take out. What I like about this place is that the burgers are hot and fresh when you get your order. The turkey bacon on my burger was cooked perfectly and the bun was soft and fresh. The toppings were portioned correctly which made for neat burger. You can get your burger made however you want but they have a list of ideas you can choose from. This place is not a fast food spot but a "Burger Joint" not to be confused. The meat patty is not super big but perfect. It's def better then the #1 you would get at those other nameless fast food places. Definitely worth the extra $ or 2 for a better tasting more fresh sandwich. We order from this location 3 times a week. We have had small issues here and there but never called back to complain until this week. We placed our normal pickup order on Thursday afternoon noon and when we got home the order was wrong. I called back and explained the situation and they offered to make the order again. The restaurant is 20 mins from my house and we stop there on our way home from RWJ for follow up appointments for my boyfriend's stroke.
