I love this place! It has easy workouts that anybody can do. The time flies by, it goes so fast that at the end you'll be shocked you're already done with your class. The workouts target your whole body and feel very balanced. I'll be coming back because the staff here are so welcoming and really go above and beyond to help you get everything you can out of your workout.

I tend to try things and not going back, but KBXC classes kept me going! I always look forward for my next class. It helped lock it with my fitness journey! Something that I was never persistent about. Now, I've been working out 5 times a week for the past 2 months. During my first week, I could barely catch my breath and had little knowledge of kickboxing moves and techniques but these didn't discourage me from keep trying. The classes start with intense fitness workout and then focus on kickboxing combos. I highly recommend everyone to sign up for their 1 week trial. This will help you find the trainer that best fits you and your fitness goal. They have multiple locations (Orange, Downey, Lakewood) with diverse qualified trainers. I enjoy taking Jazzmine's classes when I need someone uplifting that encourages me throughout the workout. I take Brianna's classes when I need intense combos and lower body workouts and if you are looking for technique and form, definitely take Kevin and Josh's classes! Your environment and the people you surround yourself with have a big influence on your mindset, energy, and success. This definitely applies to KBXC! Thank you to all the trainers for your hard work! Sable

Jazzmine is always a standout, but I've also had great experiences with Eric, Josh, Michael, Derrick, and Briana. I've never walked out with anything but good energy. I look forward to every class, even on the days I'm dragging. This place has become a highlight of my routine, and I can't recommend it enough.

The coaches are one of the biggest reasons the club stands out. They're highly respected, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about their students. You can tell they put everything they have into helping people get better, no matter what level they're at. I really appreciate the culture at OKA. There's a great mix of hard work, respect, and encouragement. You're pushed to improve, but you're also made to feel like you're part of the team. If you're looking for a kickboxing club with great coaches, good people, and a strong sense of community, I'd definitely recommend OKA! **I'd definitely add an extra star for the handsome coach who works Tuesdays and Thursdays.**

New people get taken care of, longtime members still get pushed, and everyone wants you to get better. That's harder to find than it sounds. Ron, the owner, is a big part of why it feels that way. He knows his stuff at a level you notice immediately, but what stands out more is that he actually cares about every person in the room. He remembers what you're working on and checks in on it. The rest of the coaches are the same way. I've never left a class without something I could use the next time I trained. I'm in the best shape of my life and I'm still learning constantly. I highly recommend ŌKA Kickboxing Club!

Before this gym and before BJJ and Kickboxing/Muay Thai, I wasn't very confident in myself. I struggled to have hard conversations, make hard decisions and stick to commitments. I knew I needed to be better but I just didn't know how to be comfortable being uncomfortable. Well, that six week challenge did more for me than anything else I had done before. It put in an uncomfortable amount of effort, pain, stress, and happiness! I was terrified, I was never good at cardio, I would always throw up (and I did my first class!) but what I found is everyone here is rooting for you. Coach Eric who conducted my first class was so proud that I made it back into the class even after the bathroom break. Because all the coaches here have started where you have started. And they are here to support you, guide you and help you mold yourself into the best version of yourself. In completing the six week challenge, I had found the best version of myself. Someone I had desired to be but didn't know how to get there. I'm confident in my abilities, in my body, in my mind, in putting myself in uncomfortable positions and knowing I have what it takes to overcome it and succeed. I have made so many friends and found that I really have made this gym my second home! Coach Eric, Carlos, Regis and Coach Marcello are so supportive and incredible teachers who are so knowledgeable and great at pushing you forward and to your goals. If you're on the fence, take that leap of faith. It's worth it, even if it's just for the 6 weeks! You'll come out stronger and better than you were then. And if you're a woman, come on over we're more than excited to have more women join and be part of our girl team!

The coaching has been excellent across the board, and the atmosphere is one of the best parts of the gym. People work hard, but there's no ego or posturing--just a welcoming group that's happy to help each other improve. Most of my training has been with Instructor Marcello, and he's been outstanding. He's knowledgeable, patient, funny, and somehow manages to challenge everyone while making beginners feel comfortable. I'm also looking forward to trying some of the cardio kickboxing classes and boot camps. It's nice that there's more here than just Jiu Jitsu. If you're thinking about giving martial arts a shot, whether you're brand new or getting back into it, I'd absolutely recommend Total MMA Studios.
