This property is located just far enough from the center of town to avoid the hustle and bustle but a short 10 min walk takes you right back into the action! 4 bikes are included with the rental and allow for easy access for a relaxing ride around Seaside's streets. The BBQ pit on the side of the house is new and in good condition and there are 4 beach chairs included as well from Cabana Man co on the beach everyday! Inside the house is kitted out with a full new kitchen, an Apple/Andriod compatible sound system, personal TV's in all rooms and fast WIFI. All in all was a very enjoyable experience that complemented Seaside's charm instead of being a hastle.

CRA didn't inform us of construction next door (both sides and across the street) when we booked our rental nor when we checked in on Saturday. Sunday was peaceful even though the dishwasher wasn't working and several electrical outlets were dead throughout the house and the spa/pool was covered with a tarp and several heavy concrete pavers. But then on Monday we woke up to hammers and electrical saws a few feet from our bedroom window at 7am. Happened everyday of the week. CRA claimed they didn't know about the construction yet there are 4 houses all around this rental in various stages of construction that has been going on all year. Construction crew stated that every renter before has complained to them and CRA. So obviously they knew but declined to say anything. More on the backyard spa/pool, it was covered with tarps and bricks when we arrived due to the construction and once CRA sent someone over to uncover it, we saw all kinds of debris floating in it and more debris constantly fell in the water during the week, including nails and insulation. We were constantly blocked from leaving it parking in our driveway due to the large number of trucks, trailers and bobcats blocking out drive. We either had to park around the block or ask someone to move so we could come and go. Called to ask about options (moving locations) and we were given the runaround for 3 days. Mostly they just didn't call us back and when they did the person that called )although nice) wasn't authorized to do anything but offer a welcome bag containing a beach towel and insulted cup and small Bluetooth speaker and a bottle of champagne. Same thing we got when we checked in. We continued trying to get someone to commit to moving us or offering a discount but no one with any authority would call us back. Then mid week the construction crew next door busted a water line less than 10 feet from our front door. Flooded the driveway and stopped water service to the house for several hours. Still no help from CRA.

The shower had mildew everywhere... and the bugs were all over. The location was the only positive. It was located near everything you need including an easy walk to the beach. If you do book this cottage make sure to ask about the bed and mildew, otherwise your trip may be hindered by bad sleep.

The blinds are falling off the wall (those that are hung) The televisions are extremely inadequate. Way too small and outdated. The one in the living room is probably a 30 or 32 inch. The only other one is no larger then a computer screen. Free DVDs were offered, but the player did not work.The water pressure is very weak, with inexpensive shower heads. The kitchen is ill equipped and old. In summary, We have spent far less for much more. Our dealings with ResotQuest has been very pleasant, however the home is less then par. Please consider before renting 'Wavewatcher' from ResortQuest!

Most of the time I went here, very few people were around and we felt surrounded by beauty, peace, and nature. They were humble yet decadent and glamorous times. The beach was gorgeous and serene. Sometimes, there was only two of us sunbathing on the beach all alone. It was a long walk over the dunes to get to the beach, yet it was so worth it. Some of my best Beach and pool memories are at this place. I came back to it recently to collect some sand from the beach here. Now, it is super crowded, more commercialized, louder, and the newer buildings are squeezed in tight like sardines. It made me realize you can never go back to the past and to value and live to the fullest in the Present Moment. My Russian friend ,Sergei , agreed and said yet we had lots of valuable memories and memorable present moments at Watersound though!

I find it comical that this company advertises that they have "expertise" and a "personalized…read moretouch" in planning weddings (as seen in the attached images from their Facebook page), and yet Hollie Jones left a bride and groom with nothing 15 minutes before their special day after 6 months of communication. Hollie didn't tell the couple that she had in fact outsourced their wedding and they were left without their arbor, chairs, sound system, attendants, margarita bar, charcuterie boards, champagne for their toast, and seafood boil on their special day after Hollie ghosted them 15 minutes before their wedding. In Hollie's response to the groom's rating, she stated that she had also given vendor suggestions for florists, photographers, and hair/makeup artists but that the couple did not take those recommendations. Well thank goodness they DIDN'T use Hollie's recommendations! In the end those are the only vendors that DID show up for their special day because they hired their own beforehand. And don't plan on letting others on the company's Facebook page know the truth about how "great" of a service 30A Beach Girls provides for weddings. They will promptly delete the comments and block the commenters in hopes of keeping potential brides and grooms from knowing the truth rather than addressing the issue with their point of view. This coming right after Hollie Jones lied to the BBB today stating that she's only a property manager and doesn't plan weddings. These advertisements are misleading and flat out lies.

Close to the laundry room (which is free, by the way) and you can see the ocean from the balcony. Pool is heated - and heated well! No other pools in the area were heated like this one in December. There were even beach amenities here. A beach wagon, beach chairs, table and boogie boards. Awesome surprise! We cannot recommend this condo, and this area enough. Well done, owners! And well done Benchmark, the management and cleaning company. There's literally not one thing we found that was not pristine clean, and I'm picky. We are moving our spring break vacation from another place to this one. Cannot wait to come back!

Upon arrival the home was in fact a 4 bed with only one en-suite bathroom It was false advertising, bait and switch and not what 4 couples wanted. We are not college students willing or needing to share bathrooms. I would never rent one of Benchmarks properties again. They assured us multiple times ahead of our arrival that it was 4 bed with 4 ensuites. Renter beware. Benchmark is not trustworthy!
